Nightlife: The Attack

Night falls, it's nine o clock. The club is about to open in 30 minutes. Avery is sitting down at the cafe waiting for it to be open. jon is standing outside, being the third person in line. In front of him was a couple, and in front of them a group of girls out for the night. Julio, disguised himself as a bartender, is inside setting up to serve drinks. Julio speaks through his earpiece to talk to the other two.

"Doors will open soon, you guys set."

"I'm set" says Avery as he just sips some water. "Also don't make yourself obvious."

"Got it."

"Hey Avery, when inside what do we do."

"Julio just serves the drinks, I'll be dancing on the floor with Chelsie, you Jon will be with another witch near the dance floor talking. Everyone is on watch. Couple in front of you is one of Chelsie's people so when inside make contact, keyword is Ker Jor Gou."

"Got it, wait why are you two dancing?"

"No offense babe but last time we danced you looked like a white guy trying to dance at black wedding." Chelsie giggles after what he says.

"If so then good choice Avery" says Julio. "Trust me i seen my fair share of those people trying to dance."

"No need to tell me that Julio. When me and Jon went to my sisters wedding, it was not a good site to see him on the dance floor."

"Wait, that was a year ago. You guys went without me?"

"Yes Avery, last time I checked my dad still wants to kill you."

"Guys not now. How much longer Julio?"

"Not long, a man just said we're opening now."

"Ok guys listen up. Humans are not the targets so check your fire when the attack comes. Also this is a vampire club many of them are innocent or working with Chelise. If any body attacks you don't hesitate to kill on sight. Only if they are attacking you."

"Got it Avery."

Avery joins Jon, acting that he went to go get Chelsie who is wearing a masquerade mask. THey enter the club and all go to their spots. Jon contacts the other two vampires that work with Chelsie and say the code word. They're at the bar and order a drink. Jon orders and Julio serves them. Avery and Chelsie wait for the DJ to start up playing the songs. 40 minutes go by and soon the club is live with people dancing, talking, and/or simply having a good time. Avery and Chelsie hit the dance floor as Jon watches them with the witch talking to him. The vampire couple are just at the bar watching for any signs of the first hungry vampire. Julio is busy serving drinks. Hour goes by and Jon notices a few people leave over hearing one conversation of them saying this.

"We have to go, they don't have any of the packs."

"What, how. They always got some on tap."

"Doesn't matter, if we don't go we might go crazy."

Jon speaks on the ear piece. "The vampires are already getting hungry."

"Good" said Avery. "Check for any more signs for that. One will have to break."

Another hour goes by and it's noticeable that a few people aren't here. Julio speaks on the earpiece now. "A vampire is heading your way Chelsie. He's pissed that there is no packs. Be careful."

Chelie nods. She and Avery are already sitting down enjoying a drink. Avery chugs his beer down looking around him and notices the guy. He looks hungry and has his eyes at Avery. Quickly Chelsie blocks the guys view and pretends to kiss Avery by the neck, as if to bite him. The guy has no choice but to eat. He aims for one of the girls from the group and just tackles her. He bites down on her neck and she screams. The other patrons see and all flee in terror. Some of the vampire guards take notice and try to get the guy off of him. By then Avery look at the others and nod at them to take action. Avery pulls out his gun and fires at the vampire guards getting first blood. Jon unleashes The Beast and he gauges one of the vampires eyes out tearing him limb by limb. Julio jabs his knife at the other bartender as Chelsie attacks the ones in the kitchen. Once Avery and Jon are done they head upstairs with Avery ordering Julio to make sure no one from the basement come outside.

Outside Cassandra and her people arrive and take over the situation calming people down making sure no one calls the cops or anything like that. As Cassandra is watching she sees the mayor's limo roll up. He gets out and goes up to her.

"How's it looking witch."

She turns around to face the mayor. "So far nothing bad. The music is still playing at the club so no one is hearing what's going on." Soon a guy falls from the second floor crashing on top of a car. He melts away. Cassandra sighs and looks back at the mayor. "Ok they may have heard that."

"I see you people got this handled. Call me when this is done. I want that son of a bitch alive when you capture him."

"We'll see."

Back inside Avery gets thrown down the stairs with gun in hand. Avery recollects himself and fires at the vampire that threw him down. It doesn't work as the vampire just punches him knocking the gun out of his hand. He and the vampire just have a fist fight before Avery kicks him down to the dance floor. Still Counting plays on the DJ booth and Avery smiles nodding to this song. He jumps down and continues the fight with the vampire. Upstairs Jon finishes off the last vampire before busting through the office. A few vampires inside and Jon makes haste with them. Ripping and tearing for that's all The Beast knows. Jon looks around finding a safe. He trys to rip it open before Chelsie comes in to calm him down.

"hey calm down, calm down now. Hey big guy listen to my voice. It's me your love. Calm down ok."

Jon takes a while to gain control of his body again but when he does so he only spats out a few words before passing out. "Safe....check...search...plans...records...important stuff." Chelsie opens the safe ripping it off and taking any paperwork she finds. She also searches the desk and cabinets taking everything inside before rushing off carrying Jon in her arms and bag in the other. Back downstairs Avery still fights with the vampire. Julio helps Avery killing the vampire instantly.

"Thanks, now downstairs."

"Perfect timing. Jon passed out, I got every single paperwork I can find."

"Good, set him down. Witch girl, take Jon outside the rest of you come with me."

"Damn, the couple didn't make it" said Chelsie looking at a the couple dead on the ground. Chelsie signs and pats them before they too melt away. Avery grabs his gun and kicks the door down busting through. Inside the remaining prisoners are held hostage by a few vampires. Standing in the middle Katrina sees them and hisses.

"You, you were the one that is trying to ruin me."

"Yeah, well guess what you're already dead lady. Even I don't kill you I'm sure Allistar would love too after what he hears what you did."

"Don't take a step closer human, or else they will get a fate worse than death once we're done with you. Your heads will make a nice decoration piece."

"Wouldn't say that if I were you."

"Silence!" Soon Katrina thrusts herself at Avery about to attack him when soon something stabs her. From behind Cassandra has stabbed her, having gone through the small windows the basement had. The other vampires look scared to see her. Cassandra leaves the knife in Katrina before turning around to look at the other vampires. They hold the humans close to them read to bite the necks when a few gun shots rang out from Avery. The vampires fall down a melt away. The humans run away crying and screaming. Julio follows them to comfort. Cassandra turns back to Katrina, who is laying on the ground. Katrina looks at Cassandra and recognizes her face being scared.

"You...it's you...the lone survivor."

"That's right, and best you know of it. Cause i will be the last thing you see."

"Fuck..you..witch bitch." With that said Cassandra takes the knife out and cuts off the head. the body falls and melts away. The head melts too and Cassandra throws it on the ground. She then looks at Avery and Chelsie, who were looking at her do what she did, and then walks away from the two. "Meet you back at the coven." She leaves and Avery looks at Chelsie.

"We did it, Nightlife is ours."

"Yeah."

Soon they hear a few sirens outside and they immediately rush to get Jon, who was stumbling to get up. Avery helps Jon and they all rush out the back door. Just in time before the cops bust in looking at the bloody scene.
