A great disturbance

The next day Violet once again grew quite a bit, not as much as yesterday, but enough that she doesn't necessarily needs to be on my back, but she insists so we walk until we find a clearing so I can attempt to learn more about my system as well as try to get her into human form.

After 2 days of lugging Violet and searching for a relatively flat area, I finally find a decent field, and dang, the description of Hou wasn't kidding, it really is hilly.

The field wasn't too large, there was a pink looking forest taking most of the area, but I take it as an extra bonus, after all, its firewood and a disguise so we can hide from unwanted visitors.

Not to mention that its far enought from any major body of water that I won't need to worry about those cursed mobs.

As I nearly fall on my face from Violets weight, I've gotten better in my core, I'm no longer falling on my face every time she gets off my back.

I ask Violet to dig a fox hole while I rest for a while and to my surprise, she didn't object, but she still hasn't matured so maybe the arrogance will sink in soon.

Once I finally got up I saw Violet looking at me in the eyes.

She was now 12 feet tall and roughly 15 feet long (not including the tail), she has to scrunch up to get on my back, which is why I'm asking her to walk. But she continuously says no, maybe her arrogance is selective?

"Violet, sit down and try to free your mind" I tell her, I don't know what to tell her but clearing the mind is always the best way to start.

'Hey system how do I help her reach her human form?'

What an idiot, you don't live and learn in Dark Fantasy, if you want to spend your life learning, life will kill you for not knowing or learning fast enough... [Enough with my speech tho]

"Ok, once you reach an empty mind, try to think about being a human"

After seeing her doing her best I try different ideas on how to make her turn into a human, none seemed to work, at the end of the day I told her to stop and sit next to me and watch the sunset alongside me.

Looking at the sunset, it looked like something that would happen before a major storm, turning darker the farther you look from the sun, next to it it was a rich orange, like it was in an oil painting, but it started getting darker until you reached a dark purple color, and then... just darkness...

Actually, the sunset reminded me of Autumnport, reminding me of some good memories, and some not-so-good memories, and I feel some moisture around my eyes, and I turn away from Violet so that she doesn't notice, she was known to react badly if I do something negative, whether she blames herself or some external thing she can't control.

Violet POV

I see Master turn his head, with tears in his eyes.

He must be disappointed that I cannot change into my form into something like his, I must get more powerful, to be able to be there for Master!

At this moment something vibrates on this planet, almost as impactful as the omen of the collision from earlier month, at least for the magical communities, now sensing a legendary magical prescence in this world, the highest magical communities now begin to search in the Realm of Hou for the source of this disturbance so they can have them in their families.

Violet POV

I must've fallen asleep! I can't fall back now! I must keep pushing for so I can see Master and make him proud of me!

Reinvigorated she keeps trying, until she once again falls asleep...

Cao Tai POV

As I expected, it started to storm, I get out the fox hole, successfully not waking her up and I begin to chop some trees.

I didn't really have a decent weapon at first but one day Violet came back with a rusty ax that would probably fall apart soon, not really curious where she got it from though... I wonder where she got it...

I begin swinging at the orchids, saying sorry with every swing, but I really don't want to give my poor dragon Trench Foot or a mud bath... or drown in mud... or you get it.

After about 20 minutes I get enough wood to make a rudimentary roof, when I'm greeted by a tall girl looking roughly 13 years old.

The girl was making it up to my nose, roughly 5'8, long black hair and some reptilian scales on her shoulder blades and some on her thighs to her calves.

Learning from my mistakes, I ask, "Violet?"

The girl looks at me, "Yes master?"

I stop dragging the wood and give her a hug and a head pat, which she accepts trembling.

"You did it... nice job"

She simply holds my embrace harder when I tell her to let go so I can make the building, she offered to help but since she is 13 years old, he decides to just let her relax.

When I finish constructing the 'roof' (it really isn't one, its more like a bunch of boards) I walk into the hut to see Violet back into a dragon waiting for me.

She suddenly charges at me and yells, "Surprise Snuggle!" [Wholesomeness for the win! ok ok... im a degenerate, I like hugs and snuggles]

Since the storm is still raging I embrace my dragon as best as I can while waiting for the storm to calm down.
