Prologue II: What actually happened

Unknown date and year, Spain

A long time before humanity developed civilisations. A small village by the forests and mountains, a beautiful view from the edge of the lake bordering the mountains and the surrounding forests. A cool morning breeze went by as the villagers were doing their daily work. Wooden huts for homes and a large campfire to roast hunted boar, a cozy haven for the birds to chirp melodiously and the green leaves to shine by the morning sun.The water was clear and some men were diving to harpoon fish.

The elder, or the seer of the tribe, was really enjoying the calming view. His white beard has grown long enough to be colied like girls' hair, his hair had whitened and whithered, still not concealing his calm blue eyes and OF A SUDDEN!

Light so bright suddenly blinded anyone's vision, like a nuclear explosion, the elder instantly turned his sight away and covered them from blurring.

That second too, a flashing pillar of light from outer space hit the Earth. Harmless, but something has landed so hard now that shockwaves has turned the calm lake into a raging mixture of seeping soil and rock. The huts were torn down and blown away so hard that they shattered to blocks of wood and spread across the forest. Thick trees just next to the lake were snapped like twigs and flung kilometres away, no one knows. The villagers were flown away like ragdolls, some of them were kicking off their heads by the trees nearby. The campfire vanished at a sudden, the cattle and sheep were flung like birds that they could fly to their doom.

The elder? He defended himself behind a large boulder, and was alright. He could not do like anything to his destroyed village, but after the shockwaves were over, he tried to peek out of the boulder, and saw a magnificent sight!

The pillar of light has vanished, but now the mountains were glowing with an bright but eerie blue. The colour spread across the range, the mountains one by one glowing brightly. With only one peak has a glowing white patch at the top, the astonished elder tried to get a good look of the sudden change in the view. He could not say anything except:

"He is here."
