4 . Finn Campbell , kidnapped !

POV : Finn/ Leo 

He suddenly awoke , or was he already awake ? He felt like he had come from a long dream than was never ending but he knew what had happened was real . Yes , he was very sure of that .

It was real , his death , meeting a powerful goddess , getting wishes and even his own final reincarnation . All of it was real .

His silence presence was because of the memories that were bombarding him . Memories from two different lives , two different perspective joining and molding to create something new . A sort of brand new him , similar to both Finn and Leo but still different . 

Memories of Leo , smart , nerdy and a little awkward and memories of Finn , brave , courageous and witty . It was strange but somehow he felt just right . As if a part of him that was being suppressed for the longest time had finally be set free , it was liberating . He felt light ! As if a sudden weight had disappeared from his metamorphic shoulders

But who was he ? Was he still Leo , the enigmatic genius of his previous world , or was he this new persona Finn , the hero he knew he would become . 

The answer quickly came to him , luckily , he would rather not have a personality disorder . In the new world he knew he was in , having such a condition could be dangerous , if he remembered correctly the power of imagination was very strong in this world . 

A wave of information came to him , explaining how his previous life memories had been suppressed up to this very moment . How this was more like a reincarnation but he lacked his memories up to this point and looking back at his new memories he could tell how that was true . How the young Finn had made use of Haki without knowing and how sometimes he could summon bursts of flames when he was acting too emotional . He was thankful that the goddess had at least put to rest his worries before they even begun . 

So did it mean in a way he was one of the current him's past life's . For instance the comet and butterfly . That line of thinking actually made sense .' But how am I supposed to test such a thing ? ' Leo thought wishing to scratch his head in contemplation . 

" Huuhh " It seemed his worry about the fact was unrequired . The thought that he may have killed a good young soul to fulfil his own desires would have been heart breaking and would have filled him with guilt . 

So his relaxation was easy to see .The slight turmoil had disappeared from him . ' Thank you Goddess ' 

' Have fun ' A voice he thought he would never hear again replied and disappeared once more . ' What a truly cheeky goddess ' Leo thought with a strange giddiness 

He thought about his father , the old man who even his death never failed to make him smile and laugh . And he once again felt his spirits rise . If only he could see me now . Would he be proud , would he be excited , would he be jealous . ' Hmmm ' definitely . The old man had always had a soft spot for works of art with deep lore and Adventure time was definitely such a show . 

He felt his heart warm once again and he made a decision . 

Yes he was Finn now and he was still Leo , no matter how confusing it felt ! And he could accept that . He could live with that fact .

' Finn Campbell , the hero of Ooo . '

' Chuckling '

He liked the sound of that . it had a nice ring to it .

 ' Keep moving forward ' 

. . . . . 

Finn had been still re organizing his thoughts . Trying to give himself a time frame for where he could be in this enigmatic world . 

From what he could tell , not much had happened yet . 

He was currently ten years old and from his memory , the event of the show would start when he was twelve years old . Was that good , maybe . He did have more time to prepare but the problem with that fact was that he failed to know what happened in this time period and that was a little worrying but he would manage . 

If he lived one life without knowing about the future , he could live another .

From his memories , they were already in the tree house having moved away from their parents house a while back . Unfortunately , the reason for their moving was the death of his current dog parents . Was it weird to have dog parents . Yes , very . But with the acceptance of his new life , the emotions that also came with it came naturally . The fact that they were talking dogs did make it a little hard though . 

Jake and him had seen this as an opportunity to kickstart their adventuring career as well as a way to move on from the death of their dog parents . And luckily , they had the tree house to start this journey . A place they had found when they had once accompanied their dog dad Joshua out on a walk . It sounded weird now that he thought about it .

It did not feel wrong to say that he saw them as his parents . In his heart it just felt right.

Him and Jake had unfortunately had to leave the old apartment and Jermaine which now he was seeing was very selfish of them , why you may ask ? He could remember that their dad Joshua was a sort of demon hunter or was it a detective and the job had come with it's own problems . 

For instance , Joshua had made a lot of enemies in his line of work and had taken the items or artefacts from several of this enemies who now that he was dead , would want their things back . Whether using violence or by logic , Finn understood that those enemies were very persistent from what he could remember and would haunt the old house in hopes of getting their things back

This lead to Jermaine having to handle all this people alone . Living an isolated life where he tries his best in preserving the legacy of their parents and Finn truly saw that as a truly tragic life for someone he had lived a good part of his current life with and he would try to prevent it . 

Yes , no brother of mine would have to suffer like that , and maybe he also wanted the items and artifacts that were in that house , there was absolutely no reason at all to let all of them burn . When they could prove more use full in his hands . 

Finn could remember multiple such artefacts that he wanted to have . Things he would have to research and events he wanted to prevent from happening . Truly troublesome if he thought about everything but it was okay . 

This was his second chance . His second life and he wanted to live as he pleased . To go on adventures , to love those he pleased , to live a free life . But he also knew that being reborn as he had , it had it's own set of responsibilities more so now that he was the promised hero . And he accepted that ,yes he would take on any challenge , any enemy that came his way , any dispute and he would win . 

As he had done in his previous life . 

Luckily , his goals before he regained his memories aligned with the thoughts of the current him no matter how shameful the past Finn's will had came to be , it was still a noble goal . 

' To help anyone in need ' A truly selfless dream . A dream that only he could achieve with his unbreakable will . 

But to achieve that dream of his , he needed to be the strongest , the smartest , the most cunning . A dream could not be achieved by sitting on your ass and waiting for it to happen . No he needed to train , to work hard and to push himself to his limit . With that , he was sure that he could be the best along with the wishes he acquired , nothing could stand in his way !!

Yes . It was Adventure Time !!!!

Or at least that was what he wanted to shout out but . . . 

Why was his head covered . . . ? 

Why did he feel that his body was wrapped in a tight seal that prevented him from moving . . . ?

And especially , why did his flipping head hurt !!

Was he ambushed or maybe kidnapped !! Was this how his journey was going to end before it even started ! 

Why couldn't he remember anything that had happened recently , as if his head was clouded behind a shroud ? Was it because of the pain from the head injury or was he still a little wonky from the memory joining . He did not know . 

Panic was quickly rising and to him , the newly born entity .Maybe as a result of both his younger age and his growing confusion , did the most natural thing that came to him .

" JAKE !!! " his voice was muffled but still loud .

Wasn't it natural for a person in need to seek help from the most reliable person nearby them

There we are fellow adventurers , on this long journey in the land of Ooo . Be pre paired for a never before seen tale 

To explain what I was talking about the current Finn /Leo , you can say in simple terms his memories had been suppressed up till e was 10 yrs old . In that , it was still him , just lacking the original memories . I hope that makes sense . And yes , the adventure time plot starts when Finn is twelve years old , so two years to go . 

And for future reference , their are some plots I have brought forward and others I will be adding ,

Also this book is a slice of life and slow paced . be warned !!!!!!
