"You're insane, Will!" Dess gave me a high-five as soon as she saw me.

I had just returned to the brick-lined, low-ceilinged chamber underneath the arena after my fifth title defense which was just as lackluster as bouts three and four. They were all red cloaks from the Warrior-Two class though… just more proof that this dude named Joe had it out for me.

"Six straight wins. Six… that's a double hat trick," Dess chirped, excitedly.
