In a distant reality, the sky was bathed in a fiery red hue, and a mighty being sat on an imposing throne made entirely of swords. The throne was colossal, much like the being himself, who wore purplish armor that glimmered with infinite mana, as black mana danced around him. His piercing, purple eyes, also made of mana, fixated on a young boy no older than sixteen. Despite facing hordes of lizard-like creatures, the boy dispatched them with ease and without showing a hint of emotion. It was as if he were a skilled hunter stalking his prey, growing stronger with each kill and awakening more beings that resembled him.
The being let out a sigh, and his hoarse voice echoed through the empty realm. "The boy has grown much stronger since we last met. It appears that this system is stronger than that of the system designed for Sung-jinwoo by the Architecture. Even the goddess was unable to detect it." He continued to watch the boy massacring his enemies with great ease. "His growth rate exceeds that of Sung-Jinwoo. If he continues at this rate, he will soon discover me. I must wait and observe him further."
The being was amazed by the boy's rapid growth, and he knew that their meeting was closer than he imagined. "We will meet soon, boy," he said, his voice filled with a mix of anticipation. He continued to watch the boy, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself. The boy's potential was too great, greater than anyone he knew of.

"Blurgh!"
As soon as Daimen emerged from the portal, he vomited profusely, feeling nauseous. "Urgh, I ain't gonna get used to this teleportation thing anytime soon—blurgh." This was his first experience with teleportation through a portal, and it wasn't pleasant, leaving him feeling queasy.
Khalf emerged from Daimen's shadow, looking at his lord with concern. "My lord, are you feeling okay?"
Daimen glanced at Khalf, who had a concerned expression on his face. It was somewhat endearing to see such a massive creature showing concern. "I'm alright, Khalf, but it seems like we have visitors."
—Kurgh
Standing before them were numerous humanoid creatures with lizard and reptilian characteristics. They stood proudly, their bodies covered in scales, adorned with tribal tattoos running from their heads to their torsos. Elongated faces with snouts, sharp teeth, claws, and sturdy tails attached to their backs characterised them.
Daimen observed the leader of this band of monsters with intrigued eyes and activated his skill.
'Appraisal'
[Lizard-Man (Alpha) C-
Lizard men possess higher physical strength and speed compared to other monsters, making them formidable opponents and difficult to defeat with physical attacks. Their scales act as sturdy armor. However, they are vulnerable to extreme temperatures, especially cold, which can slow them down or render them unconscious. Additionally, they may have susceptibilities to certain types of attacks, such as those targeting their eyes, soft throat tissues, or underbelly.]
"Interesting, so this is what a lizard-man looks like up close, huh? Well then, I guess I'll make use of the new weapons I obtained as rewards," Daimen mused after digesting the information. Despite having superior physical abilities, he realized that simply killing them wouldn't be the most effective strategy. Instead, he planned to inflict greater damage to their vital points, especially after acquiring a dagger that dealt extra damage with fatal blows.
Grinning, he retrieved his daggers from his inventory, while dozens of lizard-men stood motionless, awaiting his move.
Daimen gazed at them, his purple eyes radiating with boundless mana, and muttered, "COME FORTH." As soon as those words left Daimen's lips, a chill ran down their spines as his shadow expanded, engulfing the once illuminated cave in darkness.
One by one, black soldiers infused with purple mana emerged from Daimen's shadow. A shiver ran through their ranks, but being prideful and territorial creatures, they despised intruders who entered their territory without warning. The leader of their band stood before them, wielding a metal spear, his claws extending to become even larger and sturdier.
Daimen summoned his ten Normal-grade soldiers, he observed them, deciding against calling Khalf into the battle. He felt that Khalf's presence would be excessive for this particular encounter. He wanted to assess the capabilities of his new soldiers and understand how they would fare against their opponents.
Daimen positioned himself behind his shadows, lifting his right hand and pointing the tip of his dagger towards the enemy leader, commanding his army, "Attack, my soldiers."
With those words, Daimen's Shadow Soldiers rushed forward, heading towards the enemy leader. However, their advance was met with resistance, as more lizard-men kept pouring in to protect their leader. Nonetheless, Daimen's shadow army effortlessly tore through the enemies' defence. Their regenerative abilities rendered them practically invincible, quickly dispatching dozens of lizard-men. Daimen observed their performance with a nod of approval, acknowledging their superior skill compared to before he awakened them.
After ten minutes, all the lizard-men had been annihilated, leaving their leader standing there, bewildered by what had transpired. He had believed himself to be strong, yet these black soldiers had wiped out his village's elite in a matter of minutes. Chills ran down his spine as he found himself standing alone amidst the corpses of his clan members. The human before him recalled his soldiers, commanding them to return to his shadow.
Daimen tightened his grip on his daggers, standing there in his black trench coat, as he faced the monster in front of him. He taunted, "Let's dance, shall we?" With swift movements, he appeared in front of the lizard, slashing his dagger downwards. The lizard parried the attack with his spear, but he hadn't anticipated the power behind Daimen's strike. Daimen continued to exert pressure on the lizard, overwhelming him with his physical prowess.
—Kurgh
While Daimen pinned the lizard down, overpowering him with just one hand, he appeared oblivious to the lizard's tail attempting a sneak attack. Or did he?
The lizard aimed to strike Daimen with its sturdy tail, thinking it could catch him off guard and inflict damage.
Daimen simply stood there, a smile playing on his lips as he looked down into the lizard's reptilian eyes. It was all too obvious. Daimen observed the lizard's futile attempt and allowed it to happen. The lizard trembled when it saw Daimen smiling down at him innocently, seizing the opportunity to ready its tail.
—Baam—
The tail struck swiftly, making a significant impact upon contact with Daimen's body. The lizard grinned, believing its powerful tail might have slain the human. However, its expression turned to petrification as the dust settled and it saw Daimen's purple eyes gazing at him with boredom. Daimen had stopped the tail with a single finger.
—Kughhhhh
The lizard seethed with rage as he witnessed his attack thwarted by a mere finger. Terrified yet consumed by anger towards the human, he stared at him with fear-stricken eyes. The human, however, regarded him lazily, raising one hand in the air and shrugging. "Yowai mo~~," he uttered. Though the lizard couldn't comprehend the words, he understood that the human was belittling him, deeming him weak and pathetic. The disdain was evident in his eyes.
Before the lizard could react, Daimen seized his tail, relentlessly thrashing him from side to side without respite. The lizard felt his resilient scales cracking under the relentless assault. Daimen became entirely absorbed in the act, forgetting the primary purpose for leaving the alpha lizard alive.
Recalling his objective, Daimen ceased his thrashing. He carefully placed the battered lizard on the ground and retrieved his daggers. With precise movements, he swiftly severed the lizard's vital organs—heart, liver, lungs, throat, and underbelly. He executed each slice without hesitation, his speed and precision unparalleled. Daimen examined the blades that effortlessly sliced through the thick shells of his adversary. Gazing upon the alpha lizard, who had succumbed to his wounds, Daimen wore a satisfied grin. "Seems like the dagger is quite good," he remarked, flipping the blood-stained weapon and nodding in approval. He then proceeded deeper into the dungeon, whistling a tune and attracting the attention of numerous monsters.
