Advent of Chaos

A psycho gets reincarnated but there's more to his existence than one would think on a typical glance. - A technically troll fic that I got shoved onto me over halfway through. Practically a dumpster fire the first 6 chapters and somewhat readable the first 30 chapters. Those chapters also have highly unrealistic romance You have been warned.

Making The Great War Greater!

Asahi nodded to himself and sped up leaving cracks on the paved road, he launched off to Babel Tower and landed right next to the dungeon's entrance with a resounding boom startling the adventurers stationed there. He curiously observed the dungeon going through it's structure, what confused him is how the hell they were able to force that huge ass thing down there, the One Eyed Black Dragon. He was contemplating about talking to Freya but decided against it, he didn't want to be anywhere near the damn slut. One of the girls warily asked him, "What do you require Lord Asahi?"

He thought for a bit, "No nothing I was curious about the dungeon." She nodded her head and went back to her duty. Asahi turned around and started walking back to the mansion, ignoring the looks he was getting as well as the people haphazardly moving about startled by what had occurred earlier, Getting to the mansion he once more kicked the gate open and walked to the yard. Sitting down several minutes passed and nothing happened just the wind messing with his hair or clothes.

Like that hours passed and Asahi still hadn't moved, Hestia came out and stretched before she looked around and walked for a bit in the yard, "Oh Hestia!" She was startled by his sudden voice, "Waah! Asahi!" she looked at him pouting, "How is your presence so low?!" Asahi started tapping the ground, "Comes naturally." She answered slightly annoyed, "Naturally my foot!"

He slightly laughed waving his hand, "Don't mind the small things, also how's that headache going for you?" She almost as if remembering last night crouched down with her hands on her head, "I forgot!" He looked at her confused, "How does that happen?" She just looked away, "Don't tell me you just wanted to be taken care of by Bell." She looked to the side, "That is....no comment."

"Anyway what are you doing?" Hestia asked him looking at the magic circles spread throughout the ground, He looked at them and smiled, "Just some protection." and snapped his fingers as the magic circles activated and latched on to several places in the mansion before disappearing, "Alarm, Barrier, and Magical Turrets." Asahi said as he got up, he wanted to go to the Nasuverse to get Runic Magic but that could wait. Hestia looked at him with a smug look, "So you actually care a lot about them huh?" He just glanced at her before walking inside.

Walking over to Ultima's room he softly shook her awake, she got up and rubbed her eyes before looking at him, "Come on we're leaving." ignoring the fact that she was in an extremely awkward position. She quickly straightened up and ran away to the bathroom.

A few minutes later the sound of something burning permeated the mansion, causing everyone to wake up and run to the source only to find Asahi cooking something, Keiko smacked the back of his head, "Onii-san, are you trying to burn the house down again?" she said with an angry look and which was very cute for him, Asahi gave a depressed sigh and walked to the table slumping down muttering something about making something for once.

Bell tried to cheer him up, "Lord Asahi I can't cook either, so it's fine!" Asahi looked at him before sighing again and looking at Welf, "You look like the type who'd try something." Welf looked at him in surprise, "Wha?Wha?" Lili just hmph'd away, several veins popped out on Asahi's head and he muttered, "Annoying little shit, Lolis are supposed to be cute." Welf nodded with a look of approval, "On that we agree."

Saeko chuckled at his actions before joining Keiko in preparing lunch, Testarossa would likely be late after yesterday, Liliana took a seat by Asahi's side, he asked her, "How far were you able to go?" she wondered a bit and answered, "Floor 27, with the others of course." He smiled and ruffled her hair, "Good job, though do be careful." She nodded, after breakfast Asahi coughed to bring attention to himself, "I'm going again."

"Who's going with you?" Saeko asked him, "Ultima." she nodded Ultima would be able to protect him, as for him going alone they didn't really mind since it was obvious that he was leaving them for their own safety and wouldn't hesitate to bring them along if they were strong, he wasn't someone who would say you just have to lay back and I'll protect you that's just irresponsible, while he would do that he wanted each of them to be individually strong as well.

Ultima smiled happily she would get some lone time with Asahi, Keiko looked at him and curiously asked, "How long?" Asahi pondered with a finger on his chin, "Can't say, it's a war and so depends." Liliana quickly turned to him, "If it's a war then-" She was cut off by Asahi, "A war between Gods, Angels, Devils and much more." he said deadpanning, her obligation as a knight was cute but it was fun teasing her about it too. Haruhime would have to go with Keiko's explanation since it was too troublesome.

She sighed, "I suppose I should've seen this coming." Asahi nodded and got up, "With that I'm off!" he hugged and kissed goodbye to each and everyone of them, Ultima skipped out of the mansion alongside him Asahi looked at her and said with a grin, "Ready?" She smiled, "Of course~!" Asahi waved his hand opening a rift before placing it back in his pocket and walking through.

----------HIGH SCHOOL DXD---------

Sometime Before The Great War, Tension between the three Biblical Factions was on an all-time high, with the Devils under Lucifer, Leviathan, Beelzebub and Asmodeus wishing to in their arrogance take over the world as they believed they possessed the strength to achieve that goal with their theory of the devils being above every other race. God and his angels naturally opposed this, if let free the devils would enslave the others.

While the Angel Faction may sound good and all, they also needed the faith of humanity for their power especially the Biblical God so while they may appear to care about the humans which they did, the humans were also a necessity for their continued existence and power, while the fallen angels were those who were cast out by God for committing sins, former angels who of course hated the binds set by their Father, the Biblical God. They inhabited the Underworld alongside the Devils which were by nature an initially arrogant and corrupt race they would likely want to trample over the Fallen Angels to lay claim to most of it. Furthermore, the devils hated the fallen because even if the fallen were cast out they are still holy creatures.

Asahi was sitting on a rock looking at French Soldiers heading to Britain Soil where an army stood ready to face them what most people forget is that the time duration for the Great War also concides with the Hundred Years War, hinting at some relation between the two or maybe the land battles occurring between the two as well as explaining why at that time many legends came to be. Asahi grinned he could make this war much bigger than it initially was, since Gods needed Faith, an inherent fact. The other pantheons could be 'convinced' to intervene or take advantage of the situation to mount an attack because Christianity reduced every single Pantheon's influence as it slowly grew to be the most prominent religion.

Their power and influence being reduced was something Gods hated as instinct, meaning if they were given a nudge in the right direction they would intervene, Asahi placed a hand on his chin as Ultima tried to braid his hair but it moved around like it had a mind of it's own preventing her from doing so. He was wondering why this hadn't originally happened but then remembered that except for some unique individuals, for some reason the people in DxD were inherently dumb, but then his eyes lit up this was reality not a book meaning not everyone was an idiot but were actual people, 'But that just makes it more fun~!'

He enjoyed spreading chaos and suffering but did not enjoy manipulation however some of it here and there for Greater Chaos was fine. And so Asahi got up dusting himself off, his first destination the Greek Pantheon, whose Gods are actual idiots, making them an easy target.
