A Day At Tempest Part 2

On the way back, Asahi was thinking about his past actions since coming to this world and found that they really were a bit unnatural yet were unharmful, as they made him prioritize returning to his sister as soon as possible which was his priority but he'd much rather have his freedom thank you.

Rimuru noticing that Asahi had gone quite all of a sudden asked, "Hey Asahi what's wrong?"

"Oh oh nothing really I was reflecting on my previous behavior."

"oh it wasn't that bad just that you were behaving like an antisocial self centered jerk"

hearing this Asahi felt multiple arrows pierce his heart" and you're saying that isn't bad"

"ahem ahem anyway what was the skill you used earlier when fighting the Orc Disaster?"

this question drew the attention of the other people there as well since it was quite a powerful skill

"oh think of it as psychokinesis since fully explaining it would be a pain and would take quite a long time."

"oh psychokinesis that's one OP skill isn't it?"

"yeah"

rimuru and Asahi continued on with their conversation while the others were left to wonder what this psychokinesis was

(A/N: I'm rearranging the events here a bit just think that rimuru named the lizardmen when he was crowned chancellor of Jura as I think naming would be quite boring no matter how I change it up)

an hour later they had reached the town and everyone cheered at their arrival while Asahi was talking with the kijin while rimuru dealt with rigurd and the other goblins

"So Benimaru did you guys decide to swear loyalty to rimuru?"

"Yes Lord Asahi."

"Can I know the reason why you made this decision?"

"well he offered us a new home and a chance for revenge as well as the fact that we are a race that would not mind fighting for a master who is stronger than us"

at this Asahi smiled and sighed," I'll never understand how that guy manages to get people this loyal to him. just don't betray him"

at this benimaru also smiled and said , " Of course Lord Asahi."

After that Asahi went with rimuru while the others went their own way as they were walking suddenly rimuru stopped and looked towards the sky and Asahi asked, "what is it rimuru?"

" I feel like a magicule meteor is coming towards us"

'oh shit milim' " Hey rimuru for now let's move out of the town because if it lands here there's gonna be a lot of destruction "

at this rimuru nodded, "Let's go!"

after hearing his confirmation Asahi picked rimuru up and placed him on his shoulder before running towards a hill outside town to minimize the damage along the way Asahi suddenly remembered something , " Hey rimuru! tell the others especially the kijin to not interfere as this could go south if they suddenly attack whatever it is that's coming towards us!" hearing this rimuru nodded and did what he was told

A few minutes of running they got to a hill overlooking the town until Something crashed in front of them two glowing red eyes could be seen through the rising smoke when it cleared up a little girl with pink hair done in a twin tail was revealed while wearing an outfit that did not exactly cover her up but both of them knew better than to say that out loud

" Hello nice to meet you! I'm the one and only dragonoid known as the Destroyer people call me Demon Lord Milim Nava! "

Asahi felt that her aura was very overbearing since greed wasn't active now and he was only holding on due to his body being quite strong and his magicules being quite a lot, actually Asahi wanted to take this chance to copy her passive Ultimate Skill [ Magicule Breeder Reactor ] which allows the user to generate infinite amounts of magicules passively using his unique skill [ Prideful One ] and cursed his luck since all of his skills were shut down for 24 hours.

Milim pointed at Asahi and said, " I came to visit you since I heard you're the strongest monster here now" Asahi figured out that since rimuru hadn't fought, the other demon lords observing the fight would naturally look at him as the strongest even if rimuru was essentially the King of Jura now.

while Asahi was lamenting his own bad luck milim crouched down and started poking rimuru and said " hey is this your pet or something " hearing this rimuru was quite annoyed while Asahi twitched his lips and said, " no he's my friend and not a pet, he's quite a good person actually and is actually quite strong you should be able to notice that right?" rimuru looked at Asahi in a new light

" yes I can see everything about a monster using my [ Milim Eye ] and you also look quite strong let's fight!" Asahi once more cursed his luck, 'It had to be at a day on which I didn't have a single skill active didn't it' rimuru was aware of Asahi's situation and decided to help him out he turned into his human form and said " hey milim how about me? if you can defeat me you can fight him?"

"Sure!"

and so their duel started with it coming to a draw due to Rimuru baiting Milim with honey while Asahi laughed his ass off on the side observing this battle? even he had to admit that this was even more funnier in real life than in the anime

Right now Milim is sitting happily eating honey with rimuru sitting next to her and Benimaru, Souei , Shion and Ranga standing in front of them since they had come earlier while Asahi leaned against the concrete wall on which both of them were sitting, Milim suddenly said, "Hey why don't you two become demon lords as well." To which rimuru replied with " Ah hell nah!"

"But why we're great doesn't everyone want to become like us?"

"umm no?"

"huh?"

"does something cool happen when you become a demon lord?"

"yeah strong opponents come to fight you, it's fun!"

"they do that enough already, count me out."

"so then what kind of things do you do?"

"yeah my days are super busy do demon lords do anything besides fight other people?"

"no not really but we get to boss majin around all day"

"doesn't that just mean you're really bored?"

all this time Asahi had been silently listening to their conversation while trying to hold back his laughter at rimuru's rejection and milim's childish behaviour but when he heard the last line he couldn't stop himself "pfft... Bwahahahahaha!"

and everyone turned towards him and Millim asked, " oh right what about you Asahi?"

the kijin and ranga were also quite curious as to what his answer would be since his actions resembled some of the other demon lords' actions a lot

"Well, I .....You thought it was gonna be his answer but it was I CLIFFHANGER!"
