Fresh Air

"So did you not want to become a hybrid like me and have children?" I ask in mock confusion.

"Th-that's not a funny joke Adrian.." Rosalie says in a mixture of sadness, anger, and hopefulness.

"I do not jest my love. If you were capable of bearing children before you were turned you should be fine to have kids after becoming a hybrid." I tell her matter of factly

"I.. I can have kids?" Rosalie asks with venomous tears leaking from the corner of her eyes.

I take her into my arms and she buries her face in my chest. "Yes, we can have children if that is what you wish my love." I tell her as I run my fingers through her soft hair.

"Tumngph mhph nphw" She says her words muffled from her still having her face buried in my chest.

"She said 'turn me now', hehe, sorry already seen this happening" Alice says excitedly as Jasper hold her from behind as they watch the heart felt scene play out in front of them.

"Very well, haha, Rosalie." I say as I lift her chin to look at me. " I give you my blood willingly as my mate." I tell her as I bite the tip of my tongue causing blood to rush out of the corners of my mouth before leaning down and claiming her mouth with mine. I can tell she's surprised by the action and hesitant to drink the blood flowing into her mouth. But she trusts me so she swallows the blood as my tongue heals and I continue kissing the beautiful blonde, before pulling away.

Her eyes flash to a fiery orange and veins surround her eyes and another set of fangs grow next to her vampire ones. Then with a *thump thump* her heart beats once more in her chest before her eyes turn blue again, her original eye color. He places her hand on her chest and just feels the beat of her heart and her skin gains a pinkish color as her body rapidly starts producing blood and regenerating to the absolute healthiest state of a hybrid.

"Alice..Tell me I'm not dreaming.. My heart is beating!" Rosalie says looking wide eyed at her sister.

"You're not dreaming sister!" Alice says excitedly.

"Rosalie, I know it's difficult, but you need to calm down some. This rush of adrenaline mixed with your new instincts will cause you to want to hunt soon. Here bite." I tell her as I offer her my wrist. She looks at me hesitantly for a moment before sinking her teeth into my wrist. The rush of her sucking an pulling my blood from my body is almost euphoric. After a moment I start caressing her face. "That should be enough my love. You should feel more in control now." I tell her and she pulls away. "You will get used to it my dear. You must stay calm as much as possible for a bit to get a feel for your new instincts and a real meal will certainly help. Tell me. Is steak a thing in this age?" I ask.

"Y- yes.. But what do you mean? Can we eat food now?!" Rosalie asks in excitement.

"Oh.. That's right. Yes we can eat food. Although our diets will still consist of mainly blood we can sustain ourselves for short periods on human food high in iron and protein." I tell her as I let my sleeve fall back down when my skin knits itself back together.

"But you've been down here for centuries... How are you still alive?!" Jasper asks incredulously.

"Ah, I am probably the oldest vampire in existence. While I am technically a hybrid it still applies. And I was the first werewolf as well. So your view on what is possible doesn't exactly apply to me. I could go even longer without sustenance if I continued to sleep, but now that I'm awake.. Blood and a steak sound delicious!" I say licking my lips, while my mouth waters. 'Damn I'm hungry' I muse

(A/N: Damn I'm hungry!! this is what I get for writing on an empty stomach!)

"Alice, Jasper, aren't you going to change as well?" Rosalie asks looking at her siblings.

"No, not yet. We have wait a year. I don't know why but the vision said so." Alice says envious of her sister. What she wouldn't give for a taste of human food again. And from the looks of Jasper he feels the same.

"When you two are ready the gift will be waiting for you. I can already tell I will be closer to you than others." I tell them with a fond smile. They were some of my favorite characters in the movies so I'm more than happy to have them join me being a hybrid. 'Plus their kids will be fucking adorable!' I think to myself with a smile. What can I say, children are the future!

"Thank you Adrian, that means a lot to us." Jasper says returning my friendly smile, while Rosalie is overjoyed that her mate is already becoming fast friends with her family.

"Now let me gather this up and lets get out of here." I say before creating a subspace with my magic. It's like an inventory from the games I used to play. Then slowly all the paintings and all the riches slowly start disappearing into my subspace.

"What was that?!" They ask again in shock at what they just witnessed.

"I created a subspace with my magic to store everything. I mean can you imagine having to lug all that around to get out of here?" I ask in amusement.

"My mate is so cool!" Rosalie squeals an uncharacteristically girly fashion. I just smile at her and drape my arm around her shoulders as Alice and Jasper look at her in shock.

"I don't think I've ever heard you make such a happy sound.." Jasper says happy that his sister has found this man that has made her so unbelievably happy.

"Just wait! That's only the beginning for our dear sister!" Alice says as she bounces over to hug her sister.

"Okay, lets get out of here, haha. Everyone grab onto me." I tell them and they all place a hand on me except Rosalie she wraps her arms around my waist and snuggles her head against my chest.

*Blink*

Suddenly we're outside and the wind is blowing in our faces.

*INHALE*

"It's good to be out of that dank dungeon!" I say excitedly as I look around ignoring the looks of shock and amazement they're giving me.

"I'm not even gonna ask, hahaha. Lets sell some of your riches and get you into some modern clothes. You look way outta place here Adrian." Jasper says with a chuckle.

"I suppose you're right. I assure you this was the height of fashion in my time." I say inspecting my white ruffled shirt, black pants, and black boots. (Basically like the cover without the jacket) I look to Rosalie and smile. "Would you mind picking out my new wardrobe my dear?" I ask and I can see her light up and look at Alice.

"Of course! Lets go to the hotel, you can get cleaned up and we can order us something to eat. Then Alice and I will take your measurements and go shopping for you!" She replies excitedly. " One question though. I know the goal is to make you fit in more but can we not cut that beautiful hair of yours? I can put it up if you like but I cannot abide it being cut!" Rosalie says firmly.

"I do not with to cut it. I've used to for so long to hide my ears I'd just feel naked without it." I tell them as I pull my hair back to show my pointed ears (like Dracula's in Castlevania but they don't stick out as much). "I can transform them a bit to hide them but its rather tiresome to have on all the time."

"You'll have to make them look more human like when we're in public if you hair is up but at home or around us you can just let them be normal." Alice says as she reaches to touch one of my ears. I oblige and lean down some so she can inspect them. "So cool. You're like an elf, hehehe"

"HAHA funny." I say in mock amusement before ruffling her short hair. " Lets be on our way then!" I say as I wait for them to lead me to start my new life!
