Kane's Pov

"Can I talk to you Kane?" Cleo asks as I set our breakfast down and grab the apple juice for her.

"Always angel" I tell her taking a seat and picking up my coffee, blowing before sipping the hot delicious beverage.

"Why can't I be Shaun's assistant? Because of him and Olivia?" She asks and I sigh putting my cup down.

"Something happened between them angel. I'm a thousand percent sure.. I just can't prove it. It's not about to happen again" I say and she raises her brow at me.

"So you don't trust me?" She says picking up her drink and I raise my brow.

"I never said that. I told you last night. I trust you. I don't trust him" I tell her and she nods.

"That's not me. I can say no" she states and I laugh shaking my head. No shit angel.. I know that.

"You're like an innocent butterfly. He's a fucking cockroach. It's not happening angel" I tell her and she sighs and pushes her uneaten breakfast away.
