How did we get here?

Even though Taehyung couldn't stand Jungkook, he was forced to work with him when the leader of HYBE decided they would debut together with 5 other boys.

To his displeasure he now had to see him every day.

They had been trainees together for about 2 years now yet Taehyung still found him to be annoying.

Jungkook on the other hand was exited when he was told that he would be debuting together with Taehyung and the rest of his friends.

He actually really liked him from the day they first met but Taehyung always had a really cold aura towards him so he never talked to him outside of dance practice.

He found himself being int he position of getting rejected by Taehyung many times when he tried to talk to him.

~Time skip~

-June 12th 2013-

Exhausted Taehyung flung himself onto the couch in the backstage area. They had just completed their first concert and now had some time to rest before they would head back to the hotel they were staying at.

„Come on V, already tired?", Jungkook mocked him standing a few feet away from the couch. He started walking towards him making a motion with his hand for Taehyung to make some space for him. When he didn't react Jungkook simply settled on the armrest he wasn't occupying.

A few seconds later Jimin and Namjoon returned from talking to the staff and stopped more teasing and cursing between the two.

When Yoongi entered the room all of them went silent as the look on his face promised nothing good. „Did something happen?" Jimin asked as Yoongin sat down in one of the chairs near the couch Jungkook and Taehyung were sitting on.

„It's nothing…", he said with a sad expression on his face. At that moment a staff member entered the room and gave them the permission to leave now as all of the guests left the establishment.

When they heard that all of them quickly got up from their seats and went to change out of their concert clothes into something more comfortable.

When Jungkook left the changing room he saw Taehyung leaning against the door of the backstage area that led to were their car was parked.

He was staring right at Jungkook, not taking his eyes off of him until he left the room.

When all the members had left the building they finally started heading to their hotel.

-2 years after debut-

When Jungkook entered the dorm he was sharing with Taehyung and Yoongi, he found him asleep on the couch in the living room, sprawled out with one leg hanging off, dangling slightly.

Jungkook sighed before he went to go pick up Taehyung, well he attempted to, and carried him into their shared bedroom.

When he dropped him onto his bed he jolted awake from the sudden movement, Jungkook still leaning over him.

„What the fuck are you doing?!", he yelled as he quickly sat upright.

Jungkook stuttered something about how he fell asleep on the couch and not meaning to wake him up but, but Taehyung didn't want to hear any of it.

He quickly pushed Jungkook away from himself before he got up and stormed out of the room.

-late 2016 during the recording of blood, sweat and tears-

Jungkook was in the recording booth, Taehyung monitoring every movement he did.

Over the past year Taehyung and Jungkook had gotten closer to the point they bo longer considered themselves enemies. Yet they still fought fairly often.

Jungkook had even successfully called him Tae a few times without him getting angry at him. And the moments Jungkook shared with him were he wasn't angry or nearly beating him up, he treasured in his heart.

He had sunken deep into his thoughts when Taehyung called his name and snapped him back to reality.

„Why are you grinning like a stupid schoolgirl? You're supposed to get all your lines recorded by the end of today and if you don't stop daydreaming we'll never be done!" He quickly apologised and quickly got back to recording.
