As I step into the academy, I'm met with a flurry of activity. There are students bustling about, some walking briskly to their classes, while others are gathering in groups, chatting and laughing. I feel a twinge of envy as I watch them, wishing I could be a part of their world.
But I know that's not possible for me. My lack of emotions sets me apart, and it's not something that can be easily changed. Instead, I focus on my promise of balance, and I hold on to it tightly, using it as my anchor in this new environment.
As I make my way through the throngs of people, I can't help but notice the varying degrees of power that each student possesses. Some have powers that seem almost insignificant, like the ability to create small sparks, while others have abilities that are downright awe-inspiring, like the power to control the elements.
I remind myself that I shouldn't be intimidated by their powers. After all, I too have my own abilities, even if they are a mystery to everyone else.
Finally, I arrive at the testing room, a secret location where students are tested to determine the extent of their powers. I'm ushered into a small chamber, where I'm met by the seven teachers who will be guiding us through our hero training.
The room is dimly lit, and I can barely make out the other students in the room. One by one, they step up to the testing platform, and their powers are revealed. Some have powers that are unsurprising, like the ability to control fire or water, while others have abilities that are more unexpected, like the power to manipulate time .
Finally, it's my turn to step up to the platform. I take a deep breath and try to center myself, focusing on my ability to adapt to any situation. As I close my eyes and concentrate, I feel a rush of energy coursing through my veins.
Suddenly, I'm hit with a barrage of thoughts and emotions, flooding my mind with images and ideas. It takes me a moment to realize what's happening - I'm reading the minds of everyone in the room.
The teachers look impressed as they observe my display of power, but I can tell that they're also a little wary. It's clear that I have a lot of potential, and they want to make sure that I'm guided properly so that I can reach my full potential.
"Interesting," Professor Stone said, nodding his head. "Your power is one of the strongest we've seen in years. I'm sure you'll go far here." , I felt a sense of satisfaction at his words. I had always known that my power was special, but to hear it confirmed by the teachers of the academy was a validation of my abilities.
As the tests came to an end, we were assigned to our classrooms based on our power levels. I was placed in the A class, the highest level for students with the strongest abilities, Short of S class.
As I walk towards my assigned classroom, I can't help but wonder what the future holds for me. Will I be able to keep my powers hidden? Will I be able to find a place where I belong in this world of heroes? Only time will tell, but for now, I'm ready to embrace this new chapter of my life and see where it takes me.
I observed my classmates with detached interest. They chatted and laughed, forming bonds that I could not comprehend. I knew that I did not belong, but I would make the best of it.
As I entered the classroom, I saw a group of students sitting at their desks, chatting and laughing. They looked up as I entered, and I could feel their eyes on me.
"Welcome to the A class," one of the students said, grinning. "You're going to love it here."
I did not respond, but I felt a twinge of curiosity. These were the students with the strongest of powers, and I would have to keep up if I wanted to succeed.
I took my seat and waited for class to begin. I knew that I was secretly powerful,However For now, I would focus on honing my mind reading power, the hardest one to acquire from my perspective. It was a small step, but it was a start.
