Chapter 29: Beginning the First Adventure

Fedyenka rushed from the bed to the bathroom. Bea was laying on the floor like that as always. She brushed her teeth and got herself ready. She did not have any time for breakfast so she planned on taking some bread in her bag. At first, she had to look for one. She started storming the closet to find a bag. She found one and put all the dresses and other things back in that unfolded.

"Melissa." said Fedyenka.

"At your service. What do you-" said Melissa.

"What time is it now?"

"It is 6:45AM."

"Shit shit shit shiiiiiiiit."

Fedyenka called Bea. Bea woke up and smiled at her.

"Bea there is no time. Come with me. It's the day and we have fifteen minutes left."

"Beeeeeee! (O-O)!!!"

Both of them rushed off and put whatever they could find in that bag.

"Okay...torch, batteries, mobile phone, toothpaste, umbrella, ughh...I don't have the time to see what I have missed. Aight Imma get some food."

Fedyenka looked back and found Bea. Bea told her that she will be the one carrying her foods. Then Bea handed Melissa to her who was laying on the side table of Fedyenka. Fedyenka took it from her hands and rushed outside.

She jumped from the stairs and ran as fast as she could. On her way, she bumped into Li Qiang.

"Ouch. Oh what a coincidence! But you are missing a piece of bread-" said Qiang Li.

"Gotta go byee!" said Fedyenka and rushed away from the place.

Qiang Li looked at her and said, "They really are family..."

After Fedyenka got outside the building, she called Melissa and told her to lead her to the main gate. She started leading her. While they were on the way, Melissa asked,

"Fedyenka, you are in a hurry today. Is there anything you want me to do?"

"Yes, what time is it?" said Fedyenka.

"It is 6:59AM right now. Only 30 seconds left to be 7:00AM."

"Oh shit."

Fedyenka unleashed her energy on the ground and rushed on the gate. Before the gate could open, Yuri came in front of Fedyenka and stopped them on the way.

"Why are you rushing off?" said Yuri.

"It's almost 7:00AM!!!" said Fedyenka.

"AH HA HA HA!!!"

"Why are you laughing?"

"Well you misunderstood the reason why I told you to leave early. I told you to leave before 7 O'clock because the earlier you leave the better."

"What..."

"Yes. Now come with me and have your breakfast."

"Okay...Damn."

They went to the usual place they has their breakfast at. The building besides the seashore. It has a name of it's own but Fedyenka chose to call it building beside the shore. After breakfast she bid farewell with Ae-Ri and Qiang Li as well as Yuri.

"Remember that Melissa knows everything you need to know." said Yuri from far away.

"Okay!" said Fedyenka and kept rushing away from the place.

"Melissa, what's on the list?" said Fedyenka.

"If you are asking for the list of needed materials, here they are: Hawayashumu, Aleanbar, Damascussulb-" said Melissa.

"Ughh the names are so complicated. Anyway, just show me a picture of each. Reading them seems like a better thing for me than hearing."

"Okay!"

Melissa showed her the pictures of each. She could see where they can be found.

"Damascussulb can be found in shops right?"

"Yes but they are short on it."

"Okay...Huh...I gotta find nickel, high carbon and iron chunks now."

"You can find these in mines."

"What is the nearest mine here?"

"The nearest one is on the south. People just call it mine of the pigeons for certain reasons."

"They really are observing me and it's getting more and more clear. Mine of the Pigeons? This is certainly because that mine has something horrid for beginners like me. The name itself seems similar to the building's name. The one where I practice at." said Fedyenka.

"Okay Melissa, where do I find Hawayashumu?" said Fedyenka to Melissa.

"You will not find it in the mine. It is found in 'Ard Aldhahab." said Melissa.

"THAT FAR!?!?"

"You can fly there. I shall lead you."

"Okay...let's do the difficult one first."

"More like the furthest one. The difficult one is probably waiting for me in the mine. Man..." said Fedyenka silently in her own mind.

"But...Wait wait wait, how the hell am I supposed to fly? Are you gonna fly? Or...is Bea gonna fly?" said Fedyenka with the face of a child.

"No. Didn't Sabio Twentieth teach you how to fly?" said Melissa.

"Huh? When?"

"She is definitely giving me a bluff. Melissa ain't no ordinary assistant." thought Fedyenka.

"Never mind Fedyenka. I was just kidding. Please go to the nearest airport. I shall lead you to it. Just pick a flight." said Melissa.

"But what about passports and visa and other stuffs?"

"No need of that. Only the some of the trainees of OUTE can have a personal assistant like me. Just keep going. I will give them the validation so you can go smoothly."

"Wow. That was unexpected."

Melissa started leading Fedyenka to the airport. After they entered the airport, Melissa told her to head somewhere in the area. Some cops stopped them on the way.

"I am afraid you cannot pass Ma'am. It is only for passengers." said a cop.

"Let her pass please. Please scan this code with your barcode scanner. We are from OUTE."

The police officers shared a glimpse. Then they took a scanner from their pocket and scanned it.

"You can pass. Welcome." said a cop.

One of them raised their hand and the gate rose as well. There was a device attached with the cop's hand so Fedyenka guessed that it might be the reason why he could open the gate for her.

"Fedyenka, please turn right and look at the light green airplanes. Keep going there. You will find a guapa on the way. I will handle the rest." said Melissa.

Just like how Melissa said, there was a guapa wearing a dark green air hostage suit who was checking cards or other stuffs from people. Judging from their appearances, they are trainees just like Fedyenka. They went to the guapa.

"Hello. I am Melissa, the personal assistant of Miss Fedyenka. Please scan this QR code."

The guapa silently scanned the QR code Melissa popped up from the bracelet. After scanning it, the edges of the scanner became green.

"Welcome to OUTE airlines. Please fill in this form. I hope you have a wonderful journey." said the guapa and opened a screen with her hands. The guapa handed the screen to Fedyenka. There were some things to fill up. Fedyenka filled the form up and handed it to the guapa.

"Please follow me." said the guapa.

Fedyenka and Bea followed the guapa. The guapa led them to a plane. Coincidentally, they met the 'big guy' along the way. He was sitting on the plane reading something.

"Ah. Why are you everywhere?" said Roland Logan after moving the screen away from him.

"I came here for an expedition. What about you?" said Fedyenka.

"None of your business. Move."

Roland was once again busy with his reading.

"No, I was just wondering if you are demoted to my rank and getting a re-expeditions."

"You little piece of crap. Don't make me blow you up here. I am here for an expedition, yes. But not an expedition of your ranks. I am a dhon, remember that."

"I don't even know my rank. Hey Melissa, what is my rank?" said Fedyenka.

"Your rank right now is toru. Way to go Fedyenka!" said Melissa.

"WHAT?!? A rookie like you?!? Bu-But I read that your rank is bij." said Roland.

"Her rank was bij quiet a long time ago. She was promoted to toru after the seminar."

"Well it is obvious that you don't get expeditions of my rank." said Fedyenka.

"Remember that you are still a rookie wannabe to me." said Roland.

Fedyenka did not pay any attention to his words. She simply passed him by. Roland was filled with raged. He rushed to Fedyenka.

Fedyenka got away from there the moment he got there.

"By the way, your sit no. is A-45." said Melissa.

"How do you know these things?" said Fedyenka.

"I am your personal assistant after all."

Melissa scanned the seats and put some blue light on a seat. She told her that that is the seat registered for her. She went to it and sat on it.

"The plane is pretty big." said Fedyenka while looking around.

"Have you ever been in a plane before?" said Melissa.

"No, but I searched it on my mobile phone."

"I see."

The plane finally took off. Fedyenka moved in the plane while it was flying. The plane seemed pretty empty. She likes quiet place more so the atmosphere was perfect for her. An air hostage came. She was a cheerful middle aged woman with curly black hair, white skin and pouty lips. She said,

"Do you need anything to eat Ma'am?"

The air hostage seemed pretty much like a human to Fedyenka. She repiled,

"Yes. What is on the menu?"

"You can search it here." said the air hostage and a screen appeared.

"Shawarma...Cheese burger..."

"You are a young trainee, perhaps picking more nutritious dish would be better."

"Um...yeah you are not wrong. I will have some Vegetable curry with rice and give me a small Shawarma please. Oh and a glass of chocolate milk."

"Sure."

The air hostage left and came back with her desired dishes. She ate her fill with joy. Seeing her full mouth the air hostage laughed.

"Um...what are you still doing here Miss?" said Fedyenka.

"I am everywhere." said the air hostage while smiling.

"Um...okay..."

Her answer seemed weird to Fedyenka but she did not pay any heed to it at the moment. She studied 'Ard Aldhahab's culture and atmosphere. She read, it was once the land of Jinns and Fairies who are called Janias. The atmosphere there is quiet complicated. Most of it are sands. The sceneries were quiet wonderful. She saw a place called Trench of Khijir. The places around it are all green or blue. No one knows what lies there. She wondered if she can dive into it one day. But she did search more about it in fear of the superior's watch over her. She found out that the place is called Ard Aldhahab because it has tons of golds deep in. There is even a story about a place where sands are made of gold.
