42 The Tailed Beasts

I just want to say thanks for all of the support to start with.

Recently I realized I'm just thinking over this too much and not taking this fanfic for what I originally intended for it. It's called acting cool system…. I just need to stop being a perfectionist and go back to the funny and cool moments. Anyway, I'll try to work on romance more in the future but as you can see I'm not amazing at it.

It had been an hour since Shuji proclaimed his love as well as his hope for forgiveness to the girls. Although he was still not being entirely truthful, it was now more half-truths. It would be much better for him and them to not realize that they were some fictional characters and that he had been reincarnated. He also would like to think that he would take much better care of them than their original destiny had planned out for them.

Not much has to be said about Chu Yuechan, but Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue did not have it much better. One was left in a castle to rot while her lover went on to greater skies with more lovers, and the other had them fighting every other encounter as well as subtle manipulations from Yun Che. It was a very bad situation for all of them and he did not doubt that he could top that.

After Shuji finished making up with the girls, it was time to start explaining the backstory he had planned for this plane. He obviously had to make it much more interesting than it was. For this, he would use the Otsutsuki as well as the tailed beasts. He couldn't give them all the information now however as they would have to 'find' some more of it later. He did promise them adventure after all.

"Now to figure out how to explain this to them…" Shuji thought to himself.

Cang Yue, Xia Qingyue, and Chu Yuechan were currently sitting around in a small house that Shuji had made quickly with his Doton. Seeing this familiar scene made a smile involuntarily appear on Chu Yuechan's face. As they all sat down Shuji started to look at them seriously and explain to them the situation.

"As you all know, after the clan…" he paused with a slight look of regret. "After the clan, I joined Madara's organization. This organization went by the name of 'Akatsuki' and is extremely dangerous. There are only a few members but each is terrifying in their own right…" he spoke extremely seriously.

This made all of the girls, including Jasmine, quirk their brows. For someone of Shuji's caliber to call individuals terrifying was something extremely serious.

"What makes them so terrifying..?" asked Cang Yue.

"Each member has abilities that have never appeared within this plane. These people are all SSS-Ranked criminals and some could easily slaughter entire cities without stopping. I don't know all of them but I can name a few as well as the most powerful I have seen besides Madara…" Shuji spoke making the other's breath hitch.

To be marked as an SSS-Ranked criminal you have to perform incredibly heinous acts. While slaughtering a city may seem easy for a cultivator, many do not have this level of profound Qi. Even higher ranks would eventually run out of profound Qi. This made them all furrow their brows in seriousness.

"Two of them that I know quite well would be Sasori and Deidara… These two would actually be considered weaker in the organization but do not take them lightly… Deidara has the ability to demolish multiple cities as well as attach bombs to people. He believes that art is an explosion and that all should witness it. Sasori is a user of a certain type of profound art. He uses threads of Profound Qi to control puppets that he creates which are extremely deadly. There are various sorts of traps as well as poison on all weapons he creates. What's extremely dangerous is he has mastered an art to turn a corpse into a puppet giving it abilities of its past life…" he said with a calm voice.

This made the girls breathing hitch. To be able to blow up entire cities as well as explosions as part of his 'art' screamed that this individual was not right in the head. The other seemed even more deadly, however. What sort of sinister art allowed one to make a puppet out of a corpse and use its past abilities? This was against the way of Heaven!

"How can they do things like this… To desecrate the dead…" Cang Yue mumbled to herself. The others heard however but slightly nodded their head. It was extremely disrespectful to desecrate a corpse in such a way. Even Jasmine within the Sky Poison Pearl was slightly frowning. She had never heard of a profound art such as this.

To be able to preserve corpses' past fighting strength and make it a puppet? This sounded horrible to anybody going against it. If you die to him, you are simply adding to his future strength…

"What's worse is that I know for a fact that these two are of the weakest ones within the organization. The leader when Madara is not present and he seems to believe that he is a god… He is extremely dangerous and I do not have much intel on his abilities… What I do know is that he could most likely flatten a city in close to 30 seconds…" he said gravely.

This made their eyes go wide once again! To think that those last two were the weakest in the organization! What type of people are present there!? Also, it seems the leader can flatten a city in 30 seconds!? What does this mean for them…

"Before I continue to explain their goal, I have to explain to you the past…" Shuji said calmly.

This made the others stop and pay attention for a minute. It was obvious that whatever Shuji was going to say was important.

"In this world, there are nine tailed beasts… Each beast's power is represented by its number of tails. From 1 all the way to 9. Do not mistake the 1 tail as being weak though, he could most likely destroy an empire given enough time. These beasts are unkillable and the only way to stop them is to seal them. Given how few are capable of sealing them makes them calamities for all who come across them…" he spoke lightly.

This tale had completely enraptured them all and made them wish to know more. What could these tailed beasts have to do with this group? Suddenly they were starting to draw conclusions but choose to remain silent as he finished.

"These beasts were at one point sealed at certain parts of this plane to stop them from ever being released and causing havoc once again, but Madara seems to have found a way to find them. He plans on releasing them and controlling them for his own use… For what reason I do not know, however, the power of all 9 tailed beasts would be enough to wipe out even the Sacred Grounds easily…" he said gravely.

This once again made all of them go wide eyed. This was the Sacred Grounds! These were sects that were said to be unstoppable! They had elders at the peak of the Sovereign Realm! This was the peak of cultivation as far as they knew. Even Jasmine was slightly shocked.

Although she could also easily destroy a sect like that, it went to show how strong these tailed beasts really were. To be able to easily destroy a Sovereign Profound Cultivator was no easy feat. This made her extremely curious about what Madara had planned to do with them. "How does he even plan to control them?" she thought to herself.

"Should we let them gain all the beasts, ruin will fall onto this plane… No one would be able to stop Madara any longer. I don't know what he plans to do with them but it can not be good for any of us…" Shuji said with a frown.

"With that being said… There are things I need from within this realm… Let's head out for now. I'll answer any questions along the way." he said lightly, ending the conversation.

This conversation however did not leave the minds of the participants. It also did not leave the minds of the two who were eavesdropping on the conversation.
