4 The start of a great faction

Before the chapter starts I want to say a few things.

One for those asking this is based on that old web novel Acting Cool Anime System. Now this novel is going to take inspiration from it which is why I left the first few chapters roughly similar in the story. I want to set this up as somewhat of a continuation but I plan to change a lot of things I didn't like as well.

Two I want to clarify that Shuji is not going to turn into Itachi. He is going to stay Shuji and realistically he is just pretending to be these characters. That's right if you caught me I said characters because in the future I plan to have a faction of anime characters that I found particularly badass. This is mainly due to the fact that the most badass thing about Itachi is his story which once known stops being nearly as cool IMO. So don't worry for Itachi fans he will be staying but I wish to shuffle around cool anime characters who will interact with others and gain some girls. If this sounds good let me know some characters that you are interested in seeing.

Third and lastly. I'm thinking about making this a multiverse story but unsure whether to do that or not. I say this mainly because ATG's plot gets very stale after ascension to the God Realm. I want to keep it fresh so would you want anime worlds? Or perhaps you want more cultivation worlds like Tales of Demons and Gods. A fair warning as well. I'm thinking of either allowing the "faction" to come with him or whether to start as a new anime character and start the faction again. Anyway please let me know as this is my first time trying something like this and I would love feedback before I jump into anything like this. I don't want to drop something or spend a long time correcting it because I messed up the beginning plot or something idk. Anyways thanks and enjoy the chapter.

(VERY LAST THING… When Xia Qingyue's pov is in the conversation she will refer to Shuji as Itachi. When it's Shuji's thinking or his pov he will be referred to as Shuji. I hope this clears confusion.)

Shuji was heading towards the meeting place looking forward to seeing Xia Qingyue. He enjoyed talking to her because contrary to her ice-cold personality within the series she was nice if you know her a little. She was only 16 and she had never talked to men besides her father and brother. Shuji lay beside her and both watched the clouds in silence enjoying their time together. From time to time they will chat about things as well.

"I used to know someone who would often say their greatest wish was to one day be a cloud," said Shuji.

"Really? Why would anyone want to be a cloud?"

"He would often say that a cloud is most free. Unburdened by expectations put upon people by others. Sometimes I wish I had been born as a cloud as he would say." Shuji said sadly.

"Why does he seem so sad? Maybe it has to do with the past?" Xia Qingyue thought to herself. She had grown to enjoy her time with Itachi and wanted to know more about his mysterious past. Before she could get further into her thoughts she was interrupted.

"So I heard that you are quite famous in the city yesterday. The Biggest Treasure from the Floating Cloud City? Is that what you wish to be called?" Itachi said smiling. Xia Qingyue was flushed and embarrassed.

"Don't make fun of me!" She said shyly, to which Itachi slightly chuckled.

"Hey Itachi, can I ask you a question?" Xia Qingyue asked.

"You can, I hold no control over your words," he said lightly.

"Do you have a family?" She asked while trying not to show any facial reaction.

"I have a younger brother named Sasuke." He responded with his eyes closed as if it was a simple question. If you looked closely at his expression, past his stoicism a slight smile graced his face. She was extremely curious now. "He only had a younger brother? What happened to the others? Why is his younger brother's name so strange like his?" she thought sporadically. All these questions floating in her head that she did not have the answers to. She was about to ask more when a pack of Profound Beasts started approaching.

Itachi stood up and stretched slowly as if paying no mind to the beasts. Qingyue paid attention and scanned their strength which was about the Sixth stage Profound Realm. "We will have to handle them together seeing as there's seven of them." thought Xia Qingyue. Before she could speak however Itachi was already heading towards them.

"I'll handle them," Itachi said calmly.

"It's time to get some CP," Shuji thought to himself while showing a stoic face. "I could easily subdue them with Sharingan but it's time to use a few of the skills I got." he thought. The beasts slowly ran towards him with the intention of killing him quickly, but Shuji's reaction time was very good and he easily avoided it with a jump backward. He took out some kunai which were prolonged with two spikes on the side. Throwing them in several directions and directed towards trees and the floor, he thought silently "Good I have kunai in all directions, time to gain some CP."

While Xia Qingyue was watching she was confused on why he threw out so many weapons. "Did he miss? What was his goal?" she thought to herself. Even the beasts had slight confusion in their eyes. A beast ran fast towards Itachi with his mouth open ready to eat him, but Itachi didn't move. He just slightly smiled as he stared at the beast coming towards him.

"MOVE!" Xia Qingyue shouted worriedly before she saw something amazing. Right before the last moment, Itachi seemed to disappear with a bright flash only to be in another place instantly. Xia Qingyue was in shock with her eyes wide open. "What just happened?! It seemed like he just teleported! I've never seen these types of skills even from my master! Perhaps it was simply speed?" she thought to herself. Before she could think any further she heard a loud noise that seemed like thousands of birds singing. She turned to see Itachi with lightning in his hand with red eyes and three strange markings swirling around them. He ran straight towards the beasts piercing one as he continued to the next until they were all dead.

[Ding! Congratulations on killing 7 True Profound Beasts. You have obtained 80 CP for them and an additional 45 CP for showing off in front of Xia Qingyue]

"Good job me," he thought to himself as Chidori slowly disappeared. He turned off his Sharingan and slowly walked toward Xia Qingyue with a slow gait and stoic face.

The more Xia Qingyue looked at the man coming towards her the less she found she knew. He was so mysterious with skills she has never before seen. She wanted to know what these skills were but found it inappropriate to ask as skills are private to the cultivator. She took another look at the man to find him slightly smiling at her. She had never met someone like this. After collecting the core and materials from the beasts, Itachi slowly walked off. "I need to know more," she thought to herself as walked away.

1 year later

"Okay, today is the day.." Shuji thought to himself. Today was the day that Yun Che will be reincarnated and he was ready. During this past year, he was finally in a perfect combat state able to use all of Itachi's skills with mastery. He also made sure to keep contact with Xia Qingyue minimal only to keep a mysterious persona; however, they did have many chats while staring at the clouds. Shuji was positive that he had left enough of a shadow to confirm that she was his. He had broken through to the 10th stage of the True Profound Realm and was about to break through. All of Itachi's shinobi fundamentals such as assassination, intelligence, and espionage were learned. He was now in an even better state of Taijutsu and Genjutsu than the original Itachi due to his completely healthy body. Even his Sharingan was slightly stronger due to this which was good.

He was a little confused on what to do with Yun Che however. As much as he used to call him Scum Che it could be out of jealousy towards his protagonist's life. "Ehh what the hell am I saying. I am not a beta protagonist that questions whether he is a hypocrite, of course, I'm a hypocrite! I am the most badass and as all cool people have, I have earned the right to be a hypocrite! How could I think of these things?" he thought to himself shamelessly.

"I suppose we shall teach Scum Che the glory of an avenger once again. Perhaps in the end I'll even make up a reason as to why I'm actually a good guy to him in the end. Then he will be thanking me for putting him on the path of the strong. Of course, being strong includes no girls and only hatred…" he thought sinisterly. But for now, he focused on the main things he wanted from him. He wanted to take Jasmine and the Sky poison pearl. He checked the system and purchased Medical knowledge due to being cheap and was an important skill to have. He didn't want to steal all the original girls and legacy but he knew that they would conflict in the future. He would just use his fights with Yun Che to further his goals.

After thinking a while on his plans he had decided to make a great faction made of multiple characters like that one web novel Ultimate Scheming System. He would play as all the characters and it would be perfect but he had to make sure it worked.

"System because I can buy all things related to anime and novels. Can I buy Sasuke Uchiha's body for example?" he asked hopefully.

[Ding! That's possible! The host can buy mates or corpses in the shop!]

Shuji began to smile and laugh to himself. If he can do this then the prize will be incredible.

"System show me the skill called Soul Clones."

[Ding! Soul Clones Give the ability to Clone your soul. If the soul is cloned then the cloned soul can control one body simultaneously to the host. The number of clones manageable depends on the user's mental strength.

"System buy the skill!" Shuji said excitedly.

After a brief moment of pain, Shuji could understand the skill completely. It was difficult to see all the CP he had been saving gone like that, but he began to salivate imaging his future faction. He only needed their body and experience and he could have a fraction of the most badass anime characters. He would use his soul to control them and he would be able to move them all. This technique was even better than Nagato's six paths of pain because he could have full control of his original body as well. This skill used a split thought process to move the clones. The skill had incredible requirements of soul strength so he could only control himself for now. In the future, he could have multiple clones performing different tasks. He checked as well and he can even download some of their original personalities to make it even more believable! He will make a faction that strikes fear into all that know it!

First the Profound Heaven Continent than in the future in the God Realm! Later perhaps even the multiverse! He needed to decide a cool name though as this would be the faction that would strike awe into people!

"Madara, Obito, Sasuke, Zoro, Hisoka, Ban, Gojo Satarou, Sukuna, Alucard… and so many more! Our faction will raze this world! Destroying sects, capturing beauties, and attracting all the admiration. Some may be Jealous while some will admire us but one thing is certain.

"TODAY MARKS THE START OF A NEW ERA WITH ME ON TOP! AN ERA THAT WILL BELONG TO OKINO SHUJI AND HIS GRAND FACTION!"
