Arrogance spells for a horrible death

All the female cultivators looked at Itachi with red and starry eyes. His temperament and strength were extremely attractive to these young girls. Can Yue touch her heart with her hand… It was beating really fast! The way Itachi fought and moved had carved an image in her heart. Not only did it carve itself to her but all of the female cultivators present. It's a shame that in the future when they married their future husbands they still would not forget this. If the door was open for them they would leave to him married or not!

Xiao Luocheng however was looking at Itachi with extreme jealousy! He wanted to have those cool red eyes! He also wanted to be able to play around with his enemies and beat them! Unfortunately, it seemed very unlikely so all he felt for Itachi was hatred and envy. He felt extreme amounts of envy. He was completely overwhelmed by his thoughts.

"Why do you have all of this and not me?!" he thought. He began to compare himself with Itachi only for his face to get worse and worse. More interesting… Smarter… More mature… Wiser… More handsome… and the list hadn't even finished yet! In the corner of his heart however there was one on that list that he knew but refused to believe and that was … Stronger. He couldn't stand the notion so he immediately denied it!

"Impossible! In New Moon City how could there be anyone better than me?! It's absolutely impossible!" he told himself. He didn't know when but he advanced towards Itachi. When he arrived in front of him his face looked extremely twisted due to the amount of envy he was feeling.

"I challenge you!" he shouted. Itachi looked at him before deciding to speak.

"There are two circumstances that lead to arrogance: one is when you're wrong and you can't face it; the other is when you're right and nobody else can face it. Ask yourself which one you fall under," he said lightly. All of the elders in the room nodded their heads applauding the young man in their heads. The female cultivators in the room were impressed and thought that he was even more attractive than before. Meanwhile, all of the male cultivators thought he was a show-off.

At this moment the jealousy that Xiao Luocheng was feeling was like an inferno ready to erupt! He was incredibly angry knowing what Itachi was trying to say! "Nobody is stronger than me in New Moon City! He must be bluffing! Nobody tries to teach me a lesson like this!" he thought. He ran towards Itachi at full speed with the intention of crippling him. He smiled wickedly while thinking about Itachi's face for a second. "Let's see how cool you are without any Profound Power!" he thought to himself.

He took a knife that was hidden in his robe and stabbed it at Itachi. *PUCHI* He stabbed Itachi's stomach! "I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU WILL DO NOW THAT YOU ARE CRIPPLED!" he shouted with a twisted face. He was so filled with jealousy that his face looked like some sort of demon. Everyone who saw him thought that he looked very disgusting at this moment. After a second everyone looked surprised. Not because Xiao Luocheng stabbed Itachi but because —

"Indeed I want to see what you will do as well." they heard.

They turned to see Itachi unscathed and sitting in his chair! Everyone then turned back to see Xiao Luocheng … Stabbing himself in the stomach! Xiao Luocheng's smile slowly dropped as his face started turning pale as his expression became laced with fear. After a second of looking at the blood in his hand, he screamed out!

"ARGGGHH!" He shouted in pain. "NO! NO! NO! I AM THE STRONGEST IN NEW MOON CITY! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME!?" he screamed while feeling his Profound Qi leaving his body. He had crippled his own dantian and there was nothing he could do about it and there was nothing he could do to change that. Itachi stared at him before speaking.

"Arrogant men always show the determination to deny, even if the evidence is right in front of them. I even warned you of your arrogance but you didn't listen to me. So tell me why you didn't take heed of my words?" he asked. "I'll tell you why you didn't listen to me. It's because you are too immature and your mind is much too narrow," he spoke with his Sharingan blazing.

"You can't judge yourself fairly. You consider yourself the best and deserving of being the center of attention when in reality you aren't even the center of a small city like New Moon City. When you see someone is better than you the first thing you do is lose yourself to your jealousy and anger. Your blind jealousy and anger led you to attack me without thinking of the consequences." he spoke.

"You wanted to cripple me but now you are the one that has been crippled. This is not even revenge but the consequences of your own shortcomings. Those who are too arrogant will surely die a horrible death." he said. "If you want to blame someone then you can only blame yourself for allowing yourself to be naive."

After finishing his speech everyone looked at Itachi in awe. There was absolute silence and no one could understand what had just happened. The audience could not even begin to describe the things they had seen just now. Every word of Itachi's along with his facial expressions was deeply engraved in their heart. They kept silently repeating what he said only to find that everything he said was true. The words he spoke seemed to contain unmatched wisdom.

Even Jasmine within the Sky Poison Pearl was silently brooding over what she had just heard. Meanwhile, Xiao Luocheng looked down with a heartbroken expression.

Cang Yue's expression didn't leave Itachi from the moment he started his speech till now. Everything about him was captivating to her. This was a man with seemingly infinite power and wisdom who didn't look much older than her! This was the type of man she needed to help her within the palace! Suddenly everyone heard the sound of someone clearing their throat.

"*Cough* *Cough*... Young man, you have shown us such amazing things and taught us all valuable lessons. Would you please share your name?" the leader of the New Moon Profound Palace, Qin Wuyou spoke. Everyone immediately took notice of what his answer would be. All of these people wanted to know for different reasons. Some wanted to gather information about him due to him being such a genius! Some wished to recruit them to their various sects. Cang Yue wished to know it so that she could ask him to join Blue Wind Palace. The many female cultivators wished to know the name of the man as he was the one that had stolen their hearts! For whatever reason it was however they all wanted to know the answer!

Itachi looked at the palace master. He turned off his Sharingan and showed his original onyx eyes.

"Itachi Uchiha," he said simply. "Itachi Uchiha?" They all thought. It was a very unique name and they all felt it was a very fitting one for someone like him. After all, a mysterious man had to have a unique name. Itachi stood up flicking his robe and was about to leave when he heard a shout.

"WHO DARES TO HURT MY SON!" a man yelled. His face was very ugly at the moment and showed extreme anger. "He was the palace master of the Xiao Sect in New Moon City and someone had dared to hurt his son!?" he thought to himself. As if Xiao Luocheng got a new lease on life he looked up hopefully. He immediately pointed at Itachi telling his father what happened.

"So it was you!" he yelled at Itachi. He started to smile evilly at what he was going to do to this pretty boy. He was the palace master of the Xiao Sect and he often enjoyed putting down those he thought as better than him with his position. It was no wonder that his son became so arrogant when he had him as a father.

"Are you the one who crippled my son!?" he asked. Itachi looked at the man without emotion and didn't reply. Qin Wuyou tried to take to the defense of Itachi and diffuse the situation.

"Xiao Tiannan calm down… It is true that he crippled your son but it was he who tried to cripple him first," he spoke. Cang Yue and all of the female cultivators looked towards Itachi with worry in their eyes. How could they just stand there when the man that had stolen their hearts was about to be killed for something that was not his fault!

"I don't care Elder Wuyou! Today, I Xiao Tainnan shall take his head! If not, I am not a man!" he said proudly. Itachi looked at him before saying mockingly, "Then I can without hesitation congratulate you for losing your little member. Perhaps I should apologize to Miss Xiao in advance?"

To say everyone was astonished was an understatement. Nobody could say a thing until soon someone broke the silence. Someone in the corner of the room started to give a little chuckle. Then another did, and soon everyone was laughing to themselves over what just happened. They knew that the palace master of the Xiao Sect was right in front of them but they couldn't help it. They all laughed while Xiao Tainnan was fuming. He had never been humiliated quite like this! Let alone by a child not even half of his age!

"YOU!" he shouted angrily. He began to focus all of his strength into his hand and threw it towards Itachi! Xiao Tainnan was a 5th Stage Earth Profound cultivator so everyone was afraid of his attack. Shuji had gained a massive amount of CP today and when he thought he had got all he could this man came and offered himself to him. He couldn't believe how generous the heavens were today. He had decided that he was to end this with a bang. He released the entirety of his cultivation and soon everyone felt a tremendous increase in his cultivation! Who would have guessed this?!

He was a Stage 1 Earth Profound cultivator and he was not even 20 years old they all thought. Xiao Tiannan who saw this suddenly paled and had cold sweat dripping down his face. "A man like this must be a genius with a great background…" he thought to himself. He knew how hard it was to raise such a genius as the palace master of the Xiao Sect. There was only one place that could house such a genius… The Holy Grounds! He sank into despair at this thought. He had just offended someone from one of the Holy Grounds! He wanted to stop his attack but couldn't. As his attack approached Itachi's voice suddenly sounded.

"Divine Dividing … show your light," he said. From behind a pair of light blue wings sprouted.

[DIVIDE!]

The Vanishing Dragons ancient voice sounded and the attack disappeared. No matter how many times they saw something like this they still couldn't believe it. Suddenly Itachi used shunpo to appear in front of Xiao Tainnan who didn't have time to react. Throughout the room, the cries of thousands of birds suddenly sounded. Around Itachi's hand was what seemed to be pure lightning.

"Chidori!"

*PUCHI!* Xiao Tainnan was immediately pierced through the stomach and fell to the ground. Itachi looked down at him before speaking.

"You can have a certain amount of pride in yourself, but what you should never lose is the respect for the others and lose yourself to arrogance," he spoke softly. Everyone was shocked at what just happened. Did he not just lecture both a son and his father today?

Xiao Tainnan immediately held his stomach and went to grab Xiao Luocheng. Xiao Luocheng looked as if he had just lost his soul seeing his father seriously injured like that. If his father was injured so easily then what chance did he ever stand? After this, the drama finally ended and Itachi walked out before turning into a flock of crows. One name was on the mind of everyone who saw this.
