I could hear them snickering and laughing,celebrating while I was locked in this ice-cold basement. What was the celebration about again? Ah yes, my family were celebrating the engagement of my fiancé and my sister.

I am tired, my body is giving away after all the abuse and poison I've endured for months now, I've been down here for about four months, I'm not too sure. The cold ground beneath me adding to my misery and the darkness slowly driving me to madness, I've always imagined how i'd die but I never thought it would be this way, I know today would be my final day living I could feel it in my gut, the dread making my spine chill and my heart beat rapidly, I was scared I knew deep down but I wanted to leave this world. I heard the sound of the basement's lock being opened and I braced myself for the harsh words and kicks that would come with it, in walked my dearest sister and my lovely fiancé hand in hand, I knew what they were trying to tell me but I wouldn't rage like I did before when I found out he was secretly seeing her....actually no I was the only one in the secret the whole time.

"Younger sister" Ahma called with her sickly-sweet tone that I've always hated. I didn't answer how was I supposed to talk when I didn't have my tongue on me? and that earned me a kick from Andrew, the ever-loving fiancé.

"Big brother don't  hit my sister" gosh I cringed so hard at this, so hard that Andrew saw and that earned me another stomp while telling the evil witch of the west how kind she was.

"Sister I only came to tell you I and Andrew have gotten engaged, and our marriage is in a month's time, I came to ask for your blessing".

Okay now I was mad, how dare she try to mock me using this, I happily gave them my blessings the very day I found the two of them in bed. I grunted and Ahma squealed happily like she was truly happy I gave them my blessings, and that got the two of them to leave me be.

I didn't know when the darkness claimed me, but I woke up to kicks and punches...augh here we go again.

"Sister, are you up?"

I grunted.

"Ah good, today shall be your last day on this planet, aren't you excited? You get to meet your twin brother".

I had a twin brother?!!!!!!!!!!.

"Ah you don't remember. It's alright you don't need to remember oh, but we should send news to your family after your death, they'll be glad to know the princess of their family is finally found well not really but still you'll be found"

I couldn't form thoughts for the life of me, I had a family, and I had a twin brother, suddenly I didn't want to die. I had started crawling backwards without even realizing it.
