Yet they got close and comfortable with each other slowly. Then things got ugly when certain misunderstandings worsened their differences. There were brawls, ego clashes, and doubts. Chapter 420- Happiness amidst the adversity

Declan looked at his wristwatch to see what time it was. It was almost nine o'clock… not too late to go and see Yasmin.

He had assumed that he would not allow Yasmin to return to her father's home after the baby shower two days later. He changed his mind and decided to meet her and bring her back home.

He went out in haste.

It took him half an hour to get there. Yasmin had not slept yet. She was relieved to see him. She had been concerned since she saw the news this morning. Several bad thoughts kept her disturbed, and she was nauseous the whole day. She was dizzy too.

The doctor had come to see her in the afternoon and examined her. It was reassuring to know that her condition had not worsened.

She remained quiet in his arms.

Declan looked down at her and asked slowly, "How are you feeling now?"

"Absolutely fine." She wrapped her arms around his waist even tighter. "I was scared."
