Chapter 389- Pacifying Yasmin

Declan collected his thoughts after some time and thought of making up with her. First of all, he needed to call Earl. He dialed his number and looked back at Yasmin, bending his head backward. He was relieved to see that she was still eating without paying attention to him.

"Yeah." The phone was answered quickly.

"Any updates?" he asked in a low voice so that Yasmin couldn't hear him.

"She is still unconscious."

"Hmm." He straightened his back and said solemnly, "Call me once she wakes up."

"Sure."

He ended the call and went into the bathroom.

Several minutes later…

Declan came to bed, putting on his pajamas; his mood was not as bad as it had been. He smiled at her even though she only glowered at him. He got onto the bed and slipped into the blanket, expecting her to say something.

To his surprise, she said nothing... not even a word of complaint. She didn't ask about Derrek either. She leisurely drank juice.
