Chapter 291- Derrek backing Declan
Declan's agitation faded. It felt good to know that Derrek had discovered the truth about Amber and Earl's relationship. His stern demeanor, however, did not convey his relief. His expression was unreadable, making it difficult for the other person to figure out what he was thinking.
Derrek was frustrated with his silence and his inability to understand him.
Declan had been cold towards Amber, but he showed up at the hospital in the middle of the night when he had heard about Amber's ill health. His actions demonstrated that he was not fully calloused toward Amber. But Derrek didn't get warmth from him.
Was it because of Caroline's allegations?
His stomach clenched in agitation.
"You could have talked to her and stopped her from meeting with Sean," he whined. "You had the opportunity to save this marriage. Whatever occurred could have been avoided. She is losing her mind. I saw how insane she behaved."
