Chapter 231- The newfound hope
The next morning…
Amber rolled to the other side of the bed and yawned. She sluggishly opened her eyes to check the time. The first thing she saw was Earl sleeping beside her instead of the wall clock. She tensed up and rubbed her eyes.
Earl was still there.
It was unexpected.
Her drowsiness vanished in an instant. She remembered him saying that he would leave after she had fallen asleep. She couldn't stop wondering if he had fallen asleep or decided to sleep here.
Earl appeared to be sleeping peacefully. His face was rectangular and his cheeks were full, giving him a chubby appearance in comparison to Sean's chiseled jawline and prominent cheekbones. Unlike those models, Earl could not be described as a handsome man. He was, however, adorable.
Amber had never admired him so closely before. She continued to stare at him. She thought he was attractive.
'More enticing than Sean.'
