72 Chapter 70

"Mattie."

Matt doesn't know how to react after seeing his supposedly missing brother all bruised up and his arms even on a cast. His mind went blank and he just stood there frozen at the foot of Alex's hospital bed. His thoughts went back to that night he first met his brother, he felt like his body was trembling in fear the same way it did that night.

"I need to bring Alex to a safe place. I cannot let them get to him." Matt thought to himself.

"Mattie." Alex called out to his brother again. Matt being silent is scaring him so much he bit his already cut lips.

"Dr. Fernandez you know Mr. Andersen?" Professor Lee asked his protege. "Dr. Fernandez, are you okay? Dr. Fernandez"

Matt came back to his senses with his professor's voice calling out to him. His face darkens when he gets a good glance of his brother's face again. He clenched his fists thinking of how he should kill the bastard who did this to his precious little brother.

"Mattie." Alex called out to his brother again.

"Get up. We're going home right this instant." Matt sternly ordered his brother.

"Mattie, please calm down" Alex pleaded, this is not how he wanted his brother to see him after two months of being separated.

"I said get up. We're leaving." Matt shouted, he pulled up the sheets covering Alex and tried to get him out of bed.

"Dr. Fernandez, I'm not sure what's going on but we still need to check his status." Professor Lee tried to calm down his hysterical student. He has never seen Matthew like this, he was always calm and gentle to their patients. "Mr. Andersen is pregnant please don't be hasty with your actions." The old man reminded Matt about the reason they were in this room in the first place.

Matt grabbed his head in frustration, his mind went blank seeing Alex's state that he totally forgot the reason why they were in the room. They were supposed to check up on the professor's new patient, a pregnant male Omega.

Matt stupidly looks around the room, his mind rejecting the reality that the professor's new patient is none other than his little brother. What was it again? What did the professor just call his brother?

Mr. Andersen? Since when did his brother change his last name?

"Mattie." Alex worriedly called out to his brother. He's fidgeting as Matt goes silent again.

"You're pregnant?" Matt asked, gritting his teeth, hoping he heard it wrong and there's another male Omega pregnant in this room other than his brother.

Alex doesn't know how to respond. This is not how it's supposed to be. This is not how Matt should find out about Bean.

"I'm asking you. Damn it! Answer me." Matt raised his voice, completely out of it that his professor was caught off guard and doesn't know how to deal with this Matt.

Alex remained silent and kept glancing at the door, he's worried that Colin or the other guards might barged in because of Matt's angry voice. He needs to calm his brother before Keith arrives otherwise all hell will break loose and he doesn't want their first meeting to be like that.

"Dr. Fernandez please calm yourself down, you're agitating the patient." The old doctor's voice woke up Alex from his thoughts.

"I'm sorry Professor." Matt apologized to the professor but still look mad at his brother.

"I'm asking again Alex, are you pregnant." Matt asked in a much lower voice.

"Yeah, I am." Alex replied as his burst into tears.

Keith closed his eyes and leaned his head on the backseat. He barely slept a wink last night, he could not help but stare at Alex. He kept checking to ensure Alex is really sleeping in front of him, safe and sound.

When morning came, he was busy doing all these and that for his plans against Dwight and his family. He took a big gamble talking to Director Cole about Alex and what Dwight did to him. The old man may be a close friend of his father but he is still undeniably that bastard's uncle. His blood and family.

"I'm sorry Keith. I really am. It was my fault for asking your father to hire my nephew. I just couldn't say no to my sister when she asked me for help in finding a job to train her son. I heard things about Dwight but I didn't know it was this bad that he would resort to this kind of atrocity. I'm really sorry this had to happen to your wife." Director Cole said to Keith when he told him about what happened.

"What's done is done. Please help me put a stop to this. I don't want your nephew to have another helpless Omega to be his victim." Keith replied sternly.

The old man did not hesitate when Keith asked him to sell him his shares on Murphy Electronics. Director Cole was too remorseful and asked for Keith's forgiveness until the old man had to leave.

"How is Alex doing?" Keith asked after a while.

He and Alex talked before he left this morning, they agreed to listen to Bean's heartbeat today. Coincidentally the specialist for Omega's pregnancy has just returned and will be able to check on Alex already. He was the same doctor that Dr. Calix mentioned to them when they found out about Bean. He was told that the doctor was away for about two months due to a conference and numerous consultations from other hospitals. He was glad that he didn't have to search high and low for the doctor. He came right on time. Afterall he wan't nothing but the best health care for Alex and Bean.

"Colin said that he woke up and was looking for you." Martin replied.

"Then drive faster to the hospital, I don't like to keep my wife waiting." Keith ordered. "You placed guards outside his room right?"

"Yeah I did." Martin replied.

Aside from Colin who is Alex's main bodyguard, there are four more guards stationed outside his room. They will also now be visible in guarding Alex aside from those watching the perimeters. Martin thinks it's too much but at Keith's current state he could not argue with him. He almost lost his wife and child, that is something he could understand. The losing someone part. He would have done everything in his power if he could prevent losing someone as important.

"Keith, Colin said the doctor just arrived at Alex's room." Martin informed his friend just as they arrived at the hospital parking.

"Okay let's head in now." Keith replied, he almost missed the chance to be with Alex when the doctor checked up on his wife.

Keith's face darkened and his Alpha instinct took over him when he saw a man in white suit holding Alex's arms and forcing his wife out of bed. He immediately ran towards Alex's bed and pushed the man.

Colin and Martin subdued the man Keith just pushed.

"I think there's a misunderstanding please let this young man go." Professor Lee asked Colin and Martin who is still holding a dumbfounded Matt. He's getting tired and confused with what's going on.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?" Keith asked his wife as he inspects Alex for any injuries. "Throw that man to jail." Keith instructed.

"No. Please Keith don't. Please let him go." Alex pleaded. He doesn't know where to start to resolve this. Everything is getting out of hand.

"Alex who is this man?" Matt asked angrily. "Can you let me go." He said to the two men holding him. "Is this how they did this to you huh? Is that why you are in that state? Did they force you Alex, did that man force you?" Matt exclaimed, screaming at his brother to answer him.

"How dare you talk to my wife like that?" Keith roared.

"What the hell. Wife? Alex what in the world is this man saying?" Matt incredulously asked his brother.

"Mattie please." Alex cried.

"Mattie?" Keith repeated after Alex. "You're his brother?!"
