Chapter 2 New Family

Lenny woke up with the bustling movement outside his room. He can tell that the servants are preparing for something. He can sense how busy everyone is outside.

He wanted to sneak out and check what was going on but was afraid to bump into his father as it's Sunday and how noisy it was outside. He sure is that his father is still at home.

Is his father preparing for a party or something? The house used to be like this whenever his mother prepared to entertain guests. He frowned as he knew his father no longer invites people in their house. So what is going on outside? His curiosity is killing him but his fear of his father is keeping him from going out.

Hours passed and still no one came to his room to bring Lenny his food. His stomach is growling from hunger but he can't do anything about it. He's sure Alicia ordered someone to bring him his food but he's sure as well with the way things are going outside they forgot about him.

He has long given up on pitying himself and just lives life as it is. He knows in his heart his father is just grieving the death of his mom and eventually he will be okay again. He will love him again.

Though the young Omega still believes his father would come to love him again, in reality the master is already preparing the house to welcome his new wife and new daughter. An Alpha daughter that he can proudly present to his business associates. A daughter that will not humiliate him for being a lowly Omega.

"Master should I ask young master Leonard to join the dinner tonight?" Alicia bravely asked. The master's new family is coming and it is right that they meet Lenny as well.

"What nonsense are you spouting Alicia? That lowly Omega is no son of mine. He still stays inside that contaminated room and I will not allow my family to be tainted by his presence." Bernard Simspson sneered at the outrageous suggestion of the servant. His new wife knows about the boy and agreed that the boy should just be kept locked inside his room. He really should find a way to get rid of that boy.

Lenny sits up from his bed when he hears his door opening and a worried Alicia rushes in, holding a tray of food in her hand.

"I'm sorry young master, it was hectic outside and the servant I ordered to bring you your food was tasked to do something else and forgot all about it." Alicia put down the food on Lenny's desk and quickly helped the boy out of his bed. She was outraged when she learned that the boy hasn't eaten since morning. It's already half past five in the afternoon the boy is most likely hungry by now.

"It's alright Alicia, it seems everyone is busy. I'm okay, don't worry." Lenny tried to pacify the old lady as he knows she's probably furious right now. If there is anyone in this house who cares about him it's Alicia and her husband Hector who maintains his mom's garden.

"Alicia, what is going on outside? Is father home? Did he perhaps... asked for me?"

Alicia looks at the boy who is shyly fidgeting, hoping that this would be the day his father would ask for him. She wanted to tell the boy it would never happen, but she couldn't break it to him, afraid that the boy would lose all hope to live. She remembered about the new family and she contemplated if she would tell Lenny or not. Thinking the boy's chances of going out of his room and playing the piano will now be impossible, she knew she had to tell the boy.

"Young master, your father is expecting his new wife and her daughter to arrive this evening. Everyone is busy preparing the house for the new mistress and the room for the young mistress as well."

Lenny's eyes sparkled as soon as he heard what Alicia said. "I am having a new mom and a new sister. Is that true Alicia?" Lenny excitedly asked, full of hope that this would be the chance he so patiently waited. A new family might be what he and his father needed to bring back the joy in this house. Not that he wanted to replace his mother, but he knew that his father is still young and getting a new wife is inevitable for him.

Alicia was speechless. She doesn't know how to respond to the young boy's enthusiasm. How can she tell him that he will not be a part of this new family. That his situation is not getting better but is probably going to get worse than before.

"Daddy I love the house. Do I get my own walk in the closet? I need a lot of space for all the clothes and shoes you bought for me." Jade sweetly asked her new father. Her mother really did well this time and her new father adores her so much and dotes on her like she wants her dead father would do.

"Yes sweetheart everything is ready for you, if there is anything not to your satisfaction will change it immediately." Bernard smiled at his beautiful Alpha daughter.

"Honey don't spoil her too much." Ruby shyly slaps her husband's arms but is definitely satisfied at how dotingly the man is treating them.

"I'm not spoiling her, my daughter should have everything she wants." Bernard proudly declared as the new family was welcomed by all the servants led by Alicia.

Alicia tried not to show her displeasure at the master's statement. She has no right to be mad even though she feels furious for the sake of young master Lenny.

Ruby saw the change in the servant's face though how briefly it seems. "The boy honey?" She whispered to her husband but loud enough for Alicia to hear. She expected that there would be someone in the household that would be favoring the Omega bastard better and she knew the old servant is the one on the side of the Omega.

"Locked in his room as he should be. Don't trouble yourself too much about that Omega. In time I'll find a way to get rid of that nuisance."

Satisfied with her husband's response, Ruby smirked at the old servant as she passed by Alicia's spot.

The other servants who are previously afraid of Alicia are now sensing a change in the power at the Simpson mansion. Now that there's a new mistress, Alicia will now just be a normal servant as they are and she can no longer order them to serve that Omega boy.

Lenny slept peacefully that night, full of hope that his life would change. Little did he know that his life would indeed change but it's not for the better as he hoped for.
