Silly Girl!

"How is Dad?" Ann asked as she looked from Mrs. Jiang to Zoe. None of them had really told her anything meaningful about him since the time she became conscious.

The only thing she had been told was that she and her father had been involved in an accident, yet no one had bothered to tell her how he was doing.

"He is fine. He is still recovering, just like you. How is your head?" Mrs. Jiang asked, changing the topic. Her husband was yet to show any signs of recovery, so she was still just being hopeful.

"I guess I'm okay even though I still can not remember anything," Ann said with a shrug before turning to look at Zoe, who looked really tired and was beginning to doze off.

Zoe had come to the hospital directly after closing from work, so it was clear to her that she was pretty tired.

"Zee, you should have just gone home to rest instead of coming here first," Ann complained, looking at her sadly.
