Inferno

I woke up in complete darkness, unable to move as I hung from the rafters. A small light was headed in my direction, growing brighter as it crew closer. The light was carried by someone wearing a black mask with the image of a skeleton covering the front and back of his head in all black.

Accompanied with the light bearer were a few others. I couldn't recognize any of the voices through the muffled sounds with their faces covered. My head was in so much pain. This was the second time I was knocked out in a little over 24 hours. I was tired of this shit. I had enough. This was not what I came to Galdor for.

Anger grew inside of me, festering throughout my soul. Suddenly, a whip slashed me on my bare chest and abdomen. I was hit with another lash across my back, then another as the whip cracked louder each time.
