Chapter 17 Legacy of a god finally obtained

A red flash appeared and after that, Yun Che saw a little girl with the appearance of dolls in his past life. Extremely white skin, bloodred hair, bloodred eye color too but which somehow seemed to shine. He had to admit that what 'scum' che said when he first met her might have been right, meaning, she might had been one of the most beautiful women he met... well 'might' as compared to Mu Xianyin, she was indeed a child but well that was true so he could only make her the most beautiful girl he met while Mu Xianyin being the most beautiful woman he met.

She narrowed her eyes dangerously at him. "I shall forgive you this once but still i wont forget this. Anyway, do you want more power than you already have?"

"Hah, i am not insolent! I can give you the legacy of a god, the Heretic god, who was not only master of all elements but also immune to them! Its either that or you die as the only reason that i let you live is that you are interesting."

Jasmine tried to make him focus on the legacy so that her threat could work. She wasnt a fool and saw that he could not die and was therefore not afraid of it but she felt that he would be the best option for her to regain her body.

With her help and his talent, not to mention the fact that he could hide his profound strength perfectly and even fight people who were stronger than him, she was sure she could get her body instantly. Sure, he would loose his cultivation, but he could get at a higher profound realm he would had been able to without her help with her here, after all he seemed to be alone without anyone to teach him in such a backwater planet so someone who exceeded his profound strength at an earlier age would be able to better help him advance.

Unfortunately for Jasmine, she was trying to manipulate the wrong guy, as he himself had set it all so that she would believe him. He decided to use these two idiots to construct his alibi. Since they were of the spirit profound realm and he was of the nascent profound realm, he was far weaker than them and so the only reason why he could miraculously defeat them would be due to him having some special physique or powers which he showed by being non dieing and summoning those strange bone powers. It was simply illogical for him to hide his power and no one would die while being punched by a far weaker profound practitioner unless he could completely seal his profound strength, which unfortunately for her he could.

She knew it must be a special power or bloodline as the bone dragon like head had been created from his profound energy, the same as his bones and knives. The other special power that allowed him to revive without any side effect must had been another bloodline which might had mutated somehow as there never was any knowledge of a god or being capable of reviving after dieing.

She also knew he was a good guy, as even though he had that maniacle smile after killing the others, the atnosphere he exuded was sincerely pure without malice. Well, when he did fight she could sense it but, her instincts were telling her that it wasnt truly him. Maybe that bloodline or the fact that he could not die made him have that violence when he fought.

Basically, she was totally fooled by mc and thought she could fool him, but she didnt know him while he knew her quite well. She was simply some sort of lonely op child who was thirsty for revenge and had as only relative her sister as she lost her brother and mother while learning that her father wanted to sacrifice her for some shaddy ritual that might not even work. Yun Che knew she was just that, a lonely kid lost in life not knowing what she truly wanted and wanted to help her but for that he had to get close to her first and the only way to do so was to manipulate his way to her heart.

Was he some scum for not being honest? maybe but he did it for her and not for him. Besides, she was already on his list of waidus and as long as she hit the 18 years old birthday, he would definitely go claim her so he might as well secure her. The fact that she was one of the most not favored on the list of the 'to be married women' of this verse due to her legacy and her temperament made it easier for him.

"What is the catch in this? What do you get from all this? What is the disadventage for me?"

"Well for your your first question there is a catch and that is that i would get rid of this inheritance and that you would be targeted by others in the future should they know that you got this legacy as that god was truly powerful so you need to hid your power until you become strong enough they wont annoy you. For the second one, you need to help me rebuild my body as you can see i am partially ephereal. As for your disadvantage, you will have to restart your cultivation all the way from the bottom but well you already are at the bottom so its okay and that is the reason why i didnt use it as i am at the top and restarting over is just suicide for me."

She could not tell him that she wanted to be his friend as she was prideful and well sort of a tsundere but mc already guessed her real reasons. She went over what would happen and what she needed before showing him a blood red drop of blood floating on her finger which she pushed to him. She thought that he would be screaming in agony but instead he simply, hmmm moaned a bit... Even though she did not really understand what this sound was as she never saw someone doing it or heard someone doing it, she still knew that sound must be a weird one.

She started to look at him weirdly before getting an enlightened face.

'I see, so this is a masochist!...DISGUSTING!!!'

And thus her face changed to a disgusted one for a while, before it changed to normal and surprise when she saw that instead of having lost his cultivation it increased and at a fast rate. In the end it stopped at the 10th level of the profound sovereign realm, and that was what he allowed as he conserved the rest in his body. He wanted to enter the divine way with his wives.

"How is this possible? Werent you supposed to lose your profound veins but now you advanced so fast? Was it perhaps a trial and you needed to be ready to loose your profound cultivation to be ablento obtain the legacy?"

Yun Che never expected that he would not be able to keep hidding his profound realm when he was 'devouring' the Evil god's profound veins. He already could feel a headache coming with how he was supposed to explain all of this. He had done all of this so that she would trust him and now, all of this hard work was wasted. He could only do his best and explain the situation somehow to her.

"Well then i guess that you were really sincere and honest. As such i shall be honest too and explain to you since we are now partners. Also what is your name? You didnt tell me."

Jasmine could only grit her teeth in anger and wait for his explanation. Her cold reply was soon came after a moment of calming herself down.

"Jasmine is my name. Now you'd better explain clearly what is going on here or else you can say goodbye to you little brother down there. Believe me..."

And believe he did. He shiverred and started to explain the best he could. He wasnt worried about her betraying him as she depended on him and as for her trust, he would earn it again latter.
