when you die before you get sent to heaven you first live a life in the world of spirits tho the reason for it is because once you die theres no heaven you come back in a different form the first angel that created yokais did it for one reason to keep the truth away everything is a lie tho there was a few who knew the soul guardians but they switched up and wanted to kill the first ever angel the reason was it was getting corrupted from dying over and over again its an immortal it just comes back in different forms
kou was 5 years old walking in the rain trying to find some place to hide from the rain he sees something dropping off the sky it was a young girl with red hair she had red eyes and spiky teeth he caught her and looks down at her
"hey...are you okay?" he looks at her nervous
the girl grins
"HELLO HUMAN!!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY FOOD?"
kou looks at her suprised
"food?....i mean i could steal one..."
she smiles
"LET ME DO IT" she runs to some shop and steals some bread and snacks easily they both run away to some cave and eat their snacks there
kou laughs
"thanks...i havent had this much food in a while"
the girl chuckles
"its ight!"
kou smiles and askes her
"whats your name?"
she giggles
"my name is hakaru im 12 how about you?"
kou eats hes food
"im 5"
hakaru chuckles
"well im ya big sis now! ill teach you some cool things like this" her hands light up on fire
kou eyes widend and he looks suprised
"WOAH ILL GO GET A BUCKET OF WATE-"

hakaru and kou had a pretty good friendship she teached him how to steal and they both eat pretty good food as kou was growing up her form looked completly different one day kou was walking home
haru and the other soul guardians were walking around the streets trying to find hakaru
"iv never really met her in person...i guess we will see her power.." they unsheate their katanas and climbed up this apartment kou and hakaru sneak in they found hakaru eating some food on the table and they flashstapped to her putting their katanas close to her neck hakaru was very scared but she lights up on fire and tries attacking them
"WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE.....AND WHY THE HELL DO YOU WANNA KILL ME"
haru looks at her sad seeing that its young girl they have to kill tho she was a monster before in her past lifes
"im sorry." they cut off her head
as kou reaches the apartment he sees some people leaving with blood on their katanas he looks confused and gets in the apartment
"hey...i brought some snacks i sto-" he looks down at the ground to see hakaru head laying there
kou was full of rage and confusion he didnt know what to do hes body completly freeze
he grabbed her head and teared up tho those tears didnt make a single sound....
he walked to the backyard and burried her head there looking at the ground
"was...was.....was it those people hakaru.."
he looks scared and lost
"was it that people that killed you.."
he punches the ground tearing up more
"i...if it was...i promise...ill kill...ill kill...ill kill...ILL BRING THEM BACK TO LIVE AND KILL THEM THEN KEEP DOING IT AGAIN I SWEAR I SWEAR ILL....ILL MAKE THEM PAY" he screams
ever since that happen kou was focusing on getting money he sold some cigarettes he stole and saved up some money to get in a school tho the students looked at him differently since he didnt have anyone and looked dirty they all didnt want to talk to him not even one
he sighs walking to the grave of hakaru
"i promise...ill murder them....i promise....just...wait...just...wait.."
as he was saying those words he coughed up some blood
"i guess this what happens when you dont take care of yourself huh...i promise ill get stronger...maybe even learn that fire technique you do...i...i promise."
