Academy Of The Old Living Everlasting Entity

This story is centred on an Academy that dwells at the centre of the cosmos. There exist multiple worlds that live unaware of the existence of one another. Throughout the ages, there had been no interaction amongst the worlds. However, a time was soon to come when the worlds will converge and form a space of spaces allowing the malignant forces imprisoned within the various worlds' Great Gates to break loose. Sensing danger to the worlds, the Academy's Director sends invitations to certain special people. Various fragments of their worlds are grafted together to form a Great Educational Complex where the students will study to unravel the secret behind the Academy's existence and hopefully equip themselves to confront the darknesses of their worlds.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN: THE QUEST FOR CLUES IX: THE RAINBOW AND THE UNIVERSAL SYMPHONY

Ryu, Reis and Zan were finally in Tanya's Tent in Kolmnid Farms. Tanya still looked worried however she was livelier.

"Tanya, you don't need to worry about Rokkan. You know back in Kolmnid, when we were still on our journey to defeat Tristran, he was the most knowledgeable and resourceful guy amongst us seven and he is also Gaiden's successor. Rokkan will not go down so easily and Benedict's Ark forbids violence unless in an exhibition of talents via a protocol like the 'Dragon Battle Protocol' and even that cannot be used without assent from both parties. Rokkan's life is not in any danger and I doubt he's the type to foolishly put it at risk" Ryu comforted Tanya.

"I know" Tanya said.

Ryu laughed.

"For now I would like you to take a look at this and tell me what you see" Ryu said and showed the doodle to Tanya.

Tanya laughed.

"It looks like a rainbow with rods and vents sticking out of it" Tanya laughed.

"Way to state the obvious Tanya" Reis laughed.

"However, it also appears to be some connotation of Ryuujinn" Tanya admitted.

"That's what I also thought when I saw it Tanya" Ryu said.

"Tanya, doesn't it sorta look like a musical organ?" Reis asked.

"Those rods are conductors, lightning rods to be more accurate and those arcs are several layers of defense expressed in Seven Layers. Each arc is a layer of ionized air" Zan explained.

"When you put it like that, it does indeed sound like an organ. The arcs resemble musical keys and the conductors are kinda like the pipes through which the sound is produced but taking the conducting rods into consideration almost makes it sound like an orchestration. Makes sense to me if you also view all seven arcs as a musical scale. Hey Ryu, by the way, did you know that the Sound Ryu's musical forms back in Kolmnid are usually composed on a scale of eight musical notes?" Tanya asked.

"Eight musical notes?!" Ryu, Reis and Zan exclaimed all at once.

"Yeah, besides, if you look at a rainbow, it's usually formed from an arc of seven colours, can't explain the science behind it because I'm no scientist however, the entire Rainbow, I can tell you is a colour of its own. That implies that a rainbow is actually formed from eight colours" Tanya explained.

Ryu and Reis recalled the Seven Dragon Statues whose elements flowed into an Eighth Dragon Statue that was a combination of all their elements.

"Tanya, you know of the secret chamber in the Temple Of Light in the Light Ryu that Rokkan trained in right?" Ryu asked.

"Yeah, Rokkan told me about it more than once. They seemed to have made a deep impression on him. Seven Dragon Statues encircling an Eighth Dragon Statue. The Eighth Dragon Statue is said to represent the Eighth and Final Saint who is both human and Dragon, Ryuujinn" Tanya said.

Ryu nodded.

"Rokkan also told me the way the Seven Dragons encircle the Eighth Dragon reminded him of how planets revolve around the sun" Tanya said.

Zan's eyes widened in surprise. Then he began to laugh as though he had heard the funniest joke in the world.

"What's so funny Zan?!" everyone glared at him.

"Actually, a very funny thing happened back in my homeworld. It was almost like a well cracked joke. What makes it even funnier is that it occurred on a cosmic scale" Zan laughed.

"Spill!" everyone laughed.

"Back when I was much younger in my homeworld, it was a well-known fact that we dwelt in a solar system with a sun orbited by nine planets. However, between the time I met Ayu and Zanfar's defeat, that changed. The solar system in my homeworld in which my planet dwells currently has a sun orbited by Eight Planets" Zan laughed.

Ryu and Reis assumed serious looks as words from the chest of the Seventh Dragon Statue in the Temple Of Light rang within their minds.

"Including Tristran, there would have been nine Dragon Saints however Tristran is a demon hellbent on the destruction of all Creation."

The words echoed within their minds.

"But it still doesn't add up. In the Temple, Seven Dragons encircled an Eighth one. In your homeworld, Eight planets encircle a sun" Reis argued.

"Actually, it does fit Reis" Ryu said.

"I understand what you mean Reis. If you think of the planets as heavenly bodies bowing down to or revolving around a Heavenly Ruler, Eight Planets in orbit around the sun would imply that Ryuujinn were bowing down to Himself" Tanya said.

"You need to remember Reis however that Ryuujinn is Tripartite in nature. He is Dragon, Human and The Dragon Zone. If you wanted to use the analogy of the Seven Dragon Statues, The Eighth Saint is Dragon and Human, however He is also all Seven Elements that flow from the other Dragon Saints. To use the planets as an analogy, He would be the Sun, a planet and the entire Solar System" Ryu explained.

"I see, an Eighth Planet could imply that He is also one of the Seven" Reis finally understood what Reis was getting at.

"In that sense, Eight here may not necessarily imply a number but rather fellowship, the fact that though He is the Sun, the source of Light, and the Solar System, everything that composes the world, He is also a planet, he dwells with His creation" Zan explained.

"Now that I think about it, the orbits of planets can actually be likened to a musical scale if the scale were looped yet endlessly varying in the combination of musical notes. Almost makes it seem like the universe is a symphony" Tanya noted.
