Ezra soon noticed something weird about this dungeon. This was supposed to be an S rank dungeon, but the monsters he had encountered so far were only slightly stronger than an early D rank monster.

'Seeing as these are rats, is about numbers and not individual strength?' Ezra thought to himself. So far though, he was yet to be swarmed by them.

The labyrinth soon started disappearing the deeper Ezra went. He had spent close to an hour inside the dungeon already, but was still not close to the boss room. "As expected of an S rank gate."

'Hey, what's that sound?' Ezra stopped for a bit as he listened more. He could hear the foot steps of an approaching army of monsters, at least that was how it sounded. "The wave is here." He said to himself while tightening his grip on his weapon.
