11 Goblin Dungeon (1)

Dungeon!

A dungeon is a place where one can find a lot of monsters. Usually, a dungeon forms where there is a lot of mana concentration. The first thing that forms is the dungeon core, which is the reason why monsters spawn from a dungeon.

Unlike normal places, a dungeon yields a better experience and item drops. So they were always occupied by one or another. Unlike in games, where there is no limit for people to enter the dungeon copies, in real life, there would be only one copy. Once it was cleared, it can be only cleared again after the refresh rate is completed.

This was not a problem as of now. This world works as a game for now. Even in open areas monsters spawn after a time when they were killed. This continues on until Version 3.0 comes out. It would be the biggest update the game would go through before the game becomes a reality.

Monsters once killed won't respawn as they did. Dungeons would only allow a single group to enter at a time. Once cleared, the others had to wait for it to respawn the monsters.

Moreover, as Version 3.0 goes to the end, players find out that they stop levelling up by killing the monsters. There won't be a loot drop. One has to butcher the monster they killed to get the items. Inventory disappears. Many things start to change in that version.

The players from then onwards had to increase their power the same way the NPCs of this world do. Though there is a status panel available, there won't be any levelling up by killing. One has to absorb the cores or work out to increase their power.

This would be the same when people find out that the fantasy elements have entered Earth.

Chris decided to level up as much as he could before they lost the advantage. The first hurdle that stands before him is the dungeon he found.

It was the newbie village dungeon, at least one of them. There are three of them and he found one. He didn't find it but he already knew about its existence and looked for it. The newbie dungeons wouldn't be always in the same place and wouldn't be always the same monster dungeon.

He just went to where it would probably be and there it was. he found it because of his huge luck.

Once he found the dungeon, two system prompts appeared.

[You have found Goblin Dungeon.]

[Reputation +100]

Reputation is something that plays a great role if you want to become an official or a noble of the kingdom. Once we reach level 10, the player can go to a city. There are a lot of cities available. Each city belongs to a different kingdom, but all of them belong to the virtuous faction.

After we select a faction before entering the game, we would be sent to the novice village belonging to that faction. Only from there, you can enter cities of that faction.

Chris looked at the dungeon gleefully, "It's time to farm experience".

He approached the dungeon gate and placed his palm on it.

[Do you want to enter the dungeon?]

"Yes".

Placing your hand on a gate is the way to enter a dungeon. Once we touch it, we would directly enter the dungeon. There won't be any prompt later on as it does for now.

[Please select a mode.]

[Normal/Hard/Hell/Nightmare]

This is a game feature too. There would be only one mode available in real life. It's called normal mode. The dungeons would have ranks from F to SSS based on the monsters and the difficulty of clearing them. There won't be four modes as it was available for now.

The dungeons here in this game have only one realistic feature. It won't stop you if you don't have the required level to clear it. You can enter as many times as you can. Many use this feature to occupy the dungeons exclusively for their guilds. Even some heavy hitters would enter them.

Chris smiled, "Nightmare".

Swoosh!

Chris disappeared from sight.
