Lumina III

The intruder wasn't even focused on Park but on the crack that Park was so kind to make.

The masked man turned into a thin smoke funnel and drilled through the cracked barrier.

{Ink has absorbed the incomplete illusion]

"Blood?"

The intruder was already on the other side. Something had dripped on his arm. It was coming from the crack above.

"Did he cut himself when he hit it?"

The man looked at the stain and back to Park who was busy rubbing his head on the other side of the barrier.

"Blind as a bat."

Well, he was.

He ignored it and disappeared down the alley.

From the chained types to the stitched types. There existed a whole array of books. The intruder stopped at one book scanning it cautiously before approaching it. He opened the book, and it turned out blank.

"Yeah, this will definitely do..."

"You do know that that's a horrible bedtime story."

The masked man was puzzled.

Where was the sound coming from?

The stain on his shoulder rippled.

He immediately ripped off his arm fabric and hopped a few steps back. A mouth formed on the piece of cloth and spoke to him.

"You're too late buddy. You were not fast enough."

The secretly distributed spots now began spreading to the rest of his apparel.

He quickly turned into smoke and ditched his clothes.

"There'll always be a next time."

Hands shot out from the grounds below and raced towards him. He was easily phasing through them.

The cracked barrier was now in his sights.

But that's when he felt it.

{Interrupt has been activated]

A jolt of red electricity so great it knocked him out. The now human silently fell into the embrace of the hands that were already lying in wait below. Upon contact the hands ballooned and cushioned his fall.

{Body of Oblivion has been hidden by the user]

They then quickly deflated and wrapped him up altogether.

"You brought quite a guest."

Park listened in keenly. He could feel a presence approach. A figure was at the moment floating towards them.

There was a familiar yet distinct scent about the presence.

"These kids are quite a handful."

"..."

"Park?"

"And..."

"..."

"Another Park?"

"..."

"Parks?"

"Yelenith? What's she doing here?"

One couldn't even tell them apart.

"..."

"The lost ones?"

The intruder was stirring.

The siblings flinched.

Park felt it. He did not question any further.

"I think we have some questions for you..."

"...three."

The librarian extended his hand.

"Activate Honey Trap."

Everything inside the restricted section slowly turned into dust. The red cracked barrier stretched over it all forming a red orb.

"Of course it was an illusion."

{Danger has been detected]

{Shadows have received some of the damage]

"Ow."

The Parks blew up spewing black gunk all over the orb.

The first thing Park saw when he opened his eyes was a misshapen blade driven through him. There was a pool of blood forming around him.

He looked around the room. The marks were gone. The utterly destroyed room was now back to normal.

"Guess that was a separate space."

"Yep."

Then he made contact with him.

There stood the doctor with a crazed smile stuck on his face.

"Why can't I rest in peace?"

"Don't worry you will." The doctor quipped.

The moment that he tried to move; the doctor pulled out two more swords and pierced him.

And the hits went through. A clean strike for his heart...

"They really need to start revising the applications..."

...and the final one for the head.

The doctor looked over in glee.

His head's upper side was split in half exposing all the spongy goodness within. He could now technically see both sides of the room clearly.

The doctor continued with his vile acts on the poor young body till he got his fill. He stepped back to relish in his grotesque work.

"I really loooovee my job."

"And it's only been a week."

"But strangely enough, it wasn't that exciting."

"Anyway, two down. There'll be more to come."

"I'll really enjoy my stay here."

"I'll be back in a while to fix him up."

The doctor opened the doors.

A butterfly hit him.

It fluttered around the room and stood on Park's corpse.

"That's new."

He stepped out of the room and into...

...a field of grass.

"Illusions."

"I should have known."

He turned to look behind him.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

Park was right in his face. His head still split and dangling. It was like an overflowing wine cup spilling its contents all over the doctor's face.

{Regeneration has nullified the attacks]

{Body of Oblivion is strongly in effect]

The doctor laughed, licking his lips.

"No wonder it felt empty."

"Fine. I'll dance to the beat."

The doctor started melting away into pink gunk...

{Intrusion detected]

{Intrusion denied]

{Luminescent rubber is reacting to its other half]

{The other half has been absorbed by the Ink]

...but it was incomplete.

{Overlap has been halted]

The doctor was a mesh of pink flesh. The doctor tried to speak but could only gurgle in a disturbing manner.

Park lowered to see the gunk below him.

His brain slid out from both sides slowly pushing his head apart. The spongy tissue made its way through and fell on the creature.

The matter slowly sank into the pink mesh.

The gunk shook in return.

"..."

Park stared at the doctor trying to understand what happened to him.

The piece of flesh garbled nonstop, all but one.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!"

Cracks of bright light broke from the creature's flesh.

A white flash of light lit the entire field.

Park stood there with arms spread wide as he took the attack.

He sizzled to nothingness.

{False light has been absorbed by ink]

{Body of Oblivion's 1st Unique Skill: Corruption has become stronger]

There was a huge crater in the middle of the field. Everything within a 3km radius was scorched off.

{Lustful Fields has collapsed]

{The illusion has been cancelled]

Park was back in his room.

{Regeneration is strongly in effect]

{The remaining shadows have halved the damage received]

All the damages done to Park were fizzing, but it was bearable. He was stinging all over.

"Despicable till the very end."

He stumbled his way out of the hospital.

He was on his way now to the library.

Immediately he approached those doors, he was hit by a warm air.

...

The kind that hit him a while back.

{All body parts have restored...]

"I think they'll have to be restored again"

There was a white flash.

"..."
