14. Meeting with the Divine.

"Arise mortal " an otherworldly voice spoke waking abyss from his slumber. Slowly he opened his eyes only to be shocked by what he saw.

He witnessed the God's seated in a extravagantly decorated hall with gold, jewels and all other gems and elements. In the hall six figures sat upon thrones with three being female and the other three male .He rose and bowed to the Gods "This mortal greets the gods and goddesses" abyss said . "Good you recognize us, most mortals perish or faint upon seeing our divine presence , you impress me mortal what is your name" a female god with a beautiful voice said.

" This mortal's name is Abyss Valentine "abyss said with respect." A powerful name mortal I'll never forget child"the goddess said.

" Ok let's end this quickly"another female god said and gave way to a male god to speak. " Child of man, you have disposed of one of our own and for that we thank, he betrayed us and hid among the mortal planes we searched countless worlds but did not succeed in finding, and yet you a mortal managed to destroy him" the god said and they all bowed their heads towards him.

" Mighty beings do not bow to me a mere mortal, I merely killed him because he bared his arms against me"abyss said." A humble one I see , so mortal we wish to grant you ascension to the Divine, but first you must prove yourself so we will only bestow to you ascension to demigod, do you accept? ". the god said.

" We must I do to prove myself, mighty ones" abyss said and bent on one knee. " Good , 3 thousand years from now a higher race will want to destroy yours, destroy this race or subjugate it , finish this task and we will send to the other worlds for different tasks, complete them all and you shall get your ascension to godhood"the god said.

" I Accept your quest "abyss said while on one knee. All the gods and goddesses smiled and pointed their fingers at abyss, golden light shot out of their fingers towards abyss enveloping him in a golden light.

Minutes later abyss emerged looking like his true demonic vampire form except one of his black angelic wings was white, his red eyes had golden pupils.

Abyss kneeled on one knee and said "Your task shall be completed ".

"Return to the mortal plane and carry out your task" with that golden light covered abyss , he disappeared and reappeared above where the central continent stood.
