Lin Family Manor

Knocks rapped on Lin Xiang's door. The young man's voice was a bit hurried. "Brother Xiang! Your seclusion should be done now, right? I-I mean, we really shouldn't waste any more time."

For a moment, Lin Xiang stayed silent. He focused on his Spiritual Sea and sorted through the memories of his current life.

Truthfully, despite only awakening now, this body's current memory was still a part of Lin Xiang's personality. It was only now when his soul had developed enough that his full soul fully awakened with all of his past memories!

Lin Xiang merely needed a second to sort out the current situation. His lips curled into a calm smile. 'I need to go out in any case. Might as well get a feel for this new body while I'm at it.'

Standing up, Lin Xiang calmly strolled to his door, opened it, and smiled at the Profound realm cultivator.

This young man had relatively ordinary looks and a lukewarm aura. He wouldn't stand out amongst the crowd at all. The real only interesting thing that Lin Xiang noted was the style of his clothing.

A light blue robe that had unique pattern marking to describe his ranking within their Lin Family. Lin Xiang also wore the same style of clothing.

When Lin Xiang finally opened the door, the young man sighed in relief. He wanted to look at Lin Xiang's face to talk as friends normally do.

But, without even managing to peer up, the young man suddenly froze. A very strange sensation crept into his Spiritual Sea. He couldn't tell why. Or possibly understand.

Yet, Lin Xiang, a close friend of his, seems so different, down to his very presence!

Lin Xiang casually smiles, knowing full well the effect of his Evolvable Soul. But there's nothing currently that can be done about it.

Thus, he simply said, "Lin Tu? It seems you're quite eager for this mission."

Getting called out, Lin Tu jolted from his stupor. His mind wanted to focus on that strange split moment, but he quickly recalled more important matters to attend to.

"Of course, I'm eager! We're running really low on funds for rent. I don't want to end up as a mere servant disciple! Since you're also ready, let's go." Lin Tu hurriedly spoke.

"I suppose we can't afford to waste time." With Lin Xiang taking the lead, he strolled down their corridor.

It's technically his first time navigating the Lin Family manor, but his past memories were picture-perfect.

Lin Tu hurriedly followed behind, his anxiety still high. The duo strolled through the corridor without interruption.

Their appearances were average among the crowds. No other Lin Family youth paid distinct attention to them. Although, at times, some youths cast a brief gaze at Lin Xiang, feeling something queer about him.

Minutes later, Lin Xiang and Lin Tu ended up in the outside plaza of the manor.

Lin Xiang promptly inhaled a breath of quality air. His eyes danced around, intaking the sight of a lower realm. It felt strangely familiar and nostalgic.

The manor plaza itself was considerably large. It expanded for several thousands of meters, enough to fit great crowds without feeling overcrowded.

The buildings were all simplistic structures. Only a faint engraving of Law Runes could be seen. These Law Runes rippled a faint aura that helps improve the general environment for the Lin Family.

Most of the Lin Family members walked the ground. These youngsters had decent enough cultivation for an average size manor.

A good chunk of them were in the Spirit Realm. They wore light to dark green robes. While youths like Lin Xiang, who is in the proceeding Profound realm, wore light or dark blue robes.

Only a select few were at the very starting realm, the Body Training realm. These youngsters only wore gray robes.

Flying through the skies were the occasional Elders. They oversee everything to keep the family in an orderly fashion.

Compared to Lin Xiang who calmly took in the sight, Lin Tu wanted to promptly rush out. He looked straight at the entrance and was about to step over.

However, before even taking one step out, he and many other youths suddenly snapped their gazes to the skies.

Two incredible auras washed through the entire plaza! These auras were far beyond the Profound realm. The sensations rippling from the auras felt as if they were a higher plane of being.

Lin Xiang similarly looked up. Two youngsters entered his vision, and he causally regarded, 'Two young Heavenly Origin geniuses, huh? From Profound to Heavenly Origin at this age, can be considered something in Mid-level families.'

At this time, Lin Xiang heard many other youngsters blurt out, "Ah! The Heavenly Lin geniuses! Their presence feels so unfathomable."

"Their Laws and Arts are terrifying. It feels as if they made another breakthrough already..."

"Senior brother Wu is especially formidable with his bloodline."

The realm of the Elders flying in the skies was similarly at the Heavenly Origin realm. These old figures were already a couple hundred years old. Their talent was decent enough to barely reach the Heavenly Origin realm.

While these two supposed Heavenly Lin genius reached the same realm in their mere 20s. It was enough to be considered in high regard.

Such geniuses of their caliber would be rare to see on ordinary days. They're mostly known to only engage with others on the same level, cultivating seclusion or out adventuring and tempering themselves.

Soon enough, Lin Xiang witnessed a handsome young man and a beautiful young woman flying on a gorgeous cloud.

Their speeds were exceedingly swift. They tore through the air as if wind resistance didn't exist.

Others may not be able to spot it, but with soul essence in his eyes, Lin Xiang could plainly spot the intricate Law Runes engraved on these youngsters' clouds.

That only held Lin Xiang's intrigued for a second. 'Just one Heavenly Cloud? From those Law Runes, it appears they have more concealed within their Qi Sea. But nothing too outrageous. Around a couple more only beneficial to speed up their cultivation.'

Heavenly Clouds were a specialty that corresponds with a cultivator's graded Law. The essence of these Heavenly Clouds provides major benefits to one's cultivation and potential combat prowess.

The more Heavenly Clouds tell how high one Law grade is, and also tell how high one's innate talent is.

Talent of this caliber couldn't arouse Lin Xiang's interest for long. He quickly put these two geniuses out of his mind already.

Besides him, Lin Tu sighed. "Oh, how I wish we had talent like the Heavenly Lins! Their comprehension is outstanding and even their Laws are powerful."

In that moment, Lin Xiang had a slight suspicion. He asked in a sound transmission, 'I rarely pay attention to these guys, but if I remember right, that Lin Wu should have some sort of bloodline, right?'

'Ah? So you do remember?' Lin Tu was a bit startled. 'But yes, you're right. Lin Wu has a two-dotted Royal Bloodline! Such luck is gross. All he needs to do is comprehend his bloodline and not only will his base realm advance, but his combat prowess will also grow higher! We simply can't compete...'

As they started to talk, Lin Xiang began strolling towards the entrance. He continues to say, 'Two dotted is something special after all. His entire being, from blood to soul, has a good portion of World's Source energy and Great Dao fused into him.'

'Yea and that made his cultivation speed reach Profound to Heavenly Origin in only 10 years! That far outstrips some of the Great Elders. Much less, where we can't even reach the peak of Profound in a 100 years.' Lin Tu vented out his frustrations.

The unfairness of their cruel society could make anyone scream out injustice.

Lin Xiang merely chuckled. 'Let's just finish our current task.'

Without any more interruptions, the duo left the front gates of the Lin Family manor and walked into Sacred Emperor City.

Such an overbearing name, of course, means the city design was as extravagant as possible.

Multi-color jewels fuelled with energy decorated the streets and numerous buildings. Outlines of Law runes were carved on these jewels.

Similar to the Lin Family Manor, these jewels exude a special kind of essence energy that filters the air to be better suited for Law Cultivators.

The cultivators roaming the streets were a mix of batch of decently powerful to extremely terrifying.

Lin Xiang's Soul Sense could perform a wide inspection. There was Body Training, Spirit, Profound, Heavenly Origin, and even the proceeding realm, Heavenly Rulers trailing through the city!

The batch of cultivators here were all luxuriously dressed. It was a common theme to keep oneself as noble as possible.

As Lin Xiang walked through the city streets, he couldn't help but comment, 'It appears this is a righteous dominated place. From my memories, I can't remember any unorthodox or demonic practices.'

Lin Xiang and Lin Tu were perfectly ignored as they combed through the streets.

But as they got close to the city gates, Lin Tu suddenly jerked in realization. "Brother Xiang! We've forgotten to bring along a crew! I know I was rushing, but Polaris Mountain is far too deadly. Should we..."

Lin Xiang promptly shook his head. Confidence oozed from every pore of his body.

"Do not stress yourself. Since we're here, might as well continue on. And, do you believe that other than her, we'll get anyone else to willingly join us? Our reputation is just too plain."

A challenge like the Polaris Mountain simply wasn't much in Lin Xiang's eyes. To him, this was just a casual stroll to gain his bearing on this new future.
