8 Fight

The five stood on the stage until the ceremony concluded.

A form of presumption, awakening was by no means easy.

Only two people had awakened last year.

Unfortunately, for his uncle Gwen's family, he couldn't awaken his martial spirit. Lena, on the other hand, had already gone through this process and also failed to awaken any martial spirit.

After the ceremony ended, the director called them to his office and congratulated them all for awakening their spirits.

"Now that you've awakened your martial spirit, you'll have to be part of a special course. In this course, we'll teach you more about cultivation, your spirits, and better prepare you to pass the university entrance exams."

"Yes, sir," they all responded, except Reese, who still watched with disbelief.

"You may go." The director gestured, smiling. "Now you have to deal with the sudden popularity."

Mmnn?

Jake didn't understand what the director meant until he entered his classroom and was ambushed by his classmates who previously ignored and even belittled him.

"That was amazing!" David Ferrer, one of the popular boys in class, slung his arm around Jake's shoulder and spoke to him as if they were old friends. "Those eyes of yours, can you show them to us?"

Jake furrowed his brow and wanted to shake his arm off, but he wasn't foolish. Being popular wasn't bad, and he could take advantage of it.

Clearly, these people were interested parties who, upon seeing his potential, began to speak to him.

But if they wanted to use him, he could do the same to them.

Jake closed his eyes for a moment to concentrate, and when he opened them again, they had turned crimson red.

With his new eyes, he could see the expressions of surprise, envy, and even some of love clearly.

"You have very beautiful eyes," said Teresa Cost, one of the prettiest girls in his class.

"Thank you. You also have beautiful eyes." Jake wasn't lying, and the glasses she wore only made her look sexier.

"Hehehe, you're a fool!" Teresa smiled at his compliment and touched his shoulder. "You know? My friends and I were thinking of going to the mall to buy some things. If you'd like, you can join us."

Jake thought about it for a moment and accepted her offer.

The rest of the classes were a bit stressful for him. He had never received so much attention and felt uncomfortable with it.

During class, he received many messages from girls who previously wouldn't even speak to him.

Several boys invited him to hang out and play, but all he really wanted to do was get to his uncle's house and take a nap.

He felt like his social battery had been depleted.

At this point, he was already regretting accepting Teresa's invitation.

When classes ended and Jake headed home.

Time stood still.

[Absolute choice]

[Do nothing and continue your life as usual: be brutally beaten]

[Defend yourself from Zeth's attack but don't respond with the same violence: + appreciation from teachers, + 5 admiration from some students]

[Fight against Zeth and win the fight: +50 popularity, + 20 admiration from students, +10 excitement from girls]

[Avoid the fight and flee: -50 popularity, +20 disdain from people]

Is Zeth planning to attack me? That was the first thing Jake thought when he saw the options of his absolute choice.

Looking around, he saw how Zeth was approaching from behind like a raging bull.

Wow! How cowardly of him to attack from behind!

Jake didn't have to think much to choose the third option. He had wanted to get back at Zeth for all his beatings for a long time.

Jake pretended not to notice his presence and continued walking normally, but his eyes had already turned crimson red.

Although he was facing away, he could feel him approaching very quickly.

"Hey, you son of a bitch!" Zeth shouted with his fist raised, aimed at his back.

But Jake suddenly turned around and landed a very precise punch to his chin.

The momentum he had played against him when his body spun in the air, he hit his head and rolled on the ground a good distance away to not get up again.

"Wow!"

"Seriously?"

"It's incredible!"

Whispers started as the students around them began to whisper at the amazing sight they had just witnessed.

A student with a vitality of 0.7 VS a thug with a vitality of 0.8 who attacked from behind.

Result: Instant K.O.

Oh my god!! But the most surprised of all was undoubtedly Jake.

He knew that the Sharingan was a tricky power, so much so that many fans criticized it as too OP, but he never thought to what extent it could be.

In his eyes, everything happened in slow motion, so much so that he had plenty of time to decide what kind of blow he would give Zeth before catching him off guard.

But things didn't end there. With his eyes, he could see a rock approaching his face at high speed from the left. He thought about dodging it, but realized that by doing so, the rock would hit the face of a girl who was looking with curiosity.

While everyone was looking at the unconscious Zeth and Jake standing with red eyes. He suddenly raised his hand and caught a rock that was traveling so fast that it escaped the view of many.

In rapid succession, five boys appeared and launched themselves in his direction.

There were no words or mediation.

Jake threw the rock in his hand, hitting the forehead of one of the boys, causing him to fall.

The other four ignored their companion and continued forward.

Jake's eyes moved everywhere in rapid succession like a blur.

Moving his body slightly, he managed to dodge the blows coming from the left and his back. Raising his right arm, he diverted the trajectory of the fist of the boy coming from his right.

The boy in front was the one who fared the worst when he received Jake's left fist in his stomach.

Jake knew he couldn't continue fighting while having to defend himself from all directions. He lifted his leg and delivered a kick to the back of the guy he had dodged.

The guy to his right didn't give up and threw another punch, which Jake evaded by ducking. He took advantage of this to strike his elbow into the stomach of the guy to his left.

With a swift kick, Jake broke free from the encirclement and finally let out the breath he had been holding.

The guy to the right looked around as his friends lay on the ground, unsure of what to do.

"Listen, buddy, we—" Before he could finish, Jake appeared in front of him and began to strike him repeatedly in the liver until he fell to the ground with his friends.
