Greetings

In a master student relationship, there is bound to be a time where the student complains about his lessons, and the teacher speaks his wise words motivating the student to do his best.

And it is half true.

"How the hell is this going to make me stronger?!" Ysmir yelled out.

Roknos who sat atop a tree simply shrugged his shoulders before speaking. "I am not sure, it is how I became strong, so you do it too."

"You know I had other things in mind when I asked you to train me." He muttered under his breath but as an Aesir who had superhuman senses Roknos easily heard it.

"Like what…?"

"I don't know...weight training? Hardcore exercises? Daily struggles?"

"Hmm, good idea."

As Ysmir spent more time with his teacher, he slowly came to the conclusion that Roknos doesn't know what the hell he's doing. At least teaching wise.

He (Ysmir) once asked him (Roknos) why he agreed to this relationship but there wasn't anything viable on the list of things Roknos said. But even then Ysmir decided to give it a chance, the simpleton came this far did he not?

The situation Ysmir was in was something worse than that tiger beast, what could be worse than that? Multiple beasts.

He was surrounded by 3 beasts and his goal in this lesson? Beat them up. With his fists.

*PAH*

*DOOSH*

Ysmir was thrown back into a tree by a large tail that looks a bit too thick for beast skin.

"This shitt is impossible."

"..."

*Pew*

*Pew*

Two arrows shot out as two of the beasts fell down completely unmoving, dead. The last one became wary looking back and forth at Ysmir and Roknos.

"You fight one beast." Roknos kept his expression indifferent.

"Great, less hard."

Ysmir got back up, picking up two small axes before recklessly running against the last beast.

Some time later.

At the edge of the mountain on a cliff sat both Ysmir and Roknos looking out onto the city and gold palace. Between them was another fire roasting a large whole meat while a bit far away from them were the two other beasts Roknos killed earlier.

Ysmir took care of the meat's flavor while Roknos drank, not exactly fond of sharing.

Most of the time Ysmir would satisfy his curiosities by asking Roknos questions about what is outside Asgard, and the teacher's answers were pretty bland and boring, but simple.

According to Roknos there are thousands of realms around Asgard, realms meaning galaxies, at least that's what Ysmir could think of. He had interest in space when he was still a human, he read about theories and things that were mapped out outside of earth's solar system.

Ysmir knew Asgard's space travel was advanced, but to be able to travel thousands of galaxies easily is mind boggling.

But the Aesirs who travel out don't go too far due to the King's say, King Bor along with his mightiest warriors traveled out past hundreds of galaxies but since then no one was able to go that far or farther.

Traveling more than a few galaxies out was now forbidden, no one knew what they encountered out there but it seems the higher powers don't want anyone out there.

Only a few tens of galaxies near Asgard were regularly traveled, and anything more than that Roknos wasn't willing to let out. The only people who knew anything more were the King and his advisor Mimir, the brothers.

So there wasn't much known about the cosmos outside Asgard and the near realms.

But there were many species in Roknos' stories, both mighty and intelligent. But there weren't many civilizations that were as advanced as Asgard, so when King Bor would lead his warriors in his travels, many weaker beings would look up to them as gods or such.

But out of the hundreds of realms, there are 10 realms known to the Aesir, the most visited and closest to Asgard. Vanaheim, Heven, Nidavellir, Alfheim, Midgard, Jotunheim, Svartalfheim, Niflheim, Muspelheim, and their very own Asgard.

The Vanir in Vanaheim are the same as the Aesirs, children of Buri, and the sibling race of the Asgardians. Nidavellir is home to a group of giant Dwarves who make the mightiest weapons and armors ever known, even the blacksmiths in Asgard can't compare. Alfheim is home to various kinds of species, elves, orcs, and some other race.

While the others, Roknos didn't like it. He made it clear. Svartalfheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, Niflheim and Heven. Including Heven.

Ysmir prodded for more but Roknos dismissed the topic, unwilling.

Midgard? Wasn't even worth mentioning. But some say Mimir secretly favors that realm of small mortals, and oversees it from time to time for unknown reasons.

And after his study of surrounding realms Ysmir couldn't help but also be interested in the realm of Midgard, it reminded him of...a past of his past…it was a wonder to be sure.

But at the moment, even Midgard wasn't in his radar when Roknos spoke about Heven. That kind of look he gave when saying its name was that of hate, or something along the line.

There were also thoughts about the term Heven being related to the actual Heaven, but that would be subjects of interest for more study and research later.

As they ate and drank, a small booming sound echoed throughout the city before a high pitched sound of ringing.

They both looked to the side just in time to see the Bifrost activated beaming out into the space for a few minutes before receding.

"I wonder who it is." Ysmir thought aloud as he drank his ale.

"It's the royal prince…"

*PFTTT*

Ysmir did a spit take from Roknos' reveal.

He has met the first prince before, he didn't like him. And the same could be said to the Prince towards Ysmir.

It was no secret that they didn't get along, in fact Odin had to be the middleman and cut the interactions between the two so that it wouldn't go any further.

And the reason Odin would payback Ysmir from "bullying" Vili and Vé was so that the first Prince Cul wouldn't take it upon himself to pay Ysmir back.

Or it would be brutal.

"Great, the so-called heir to the throne. A great future Asgard will have." Ysmir commented sarcastically.

Hearing the mockery in Ysmir's tone, Roknos turned to him, frowning to which Ysmir just shrugged his shoulders.

For the next few years...or decades, he will have to avoid that dark emo prince or else there will be unwanted problems.

But even then Ysmir couldn't help but want to cause another situation at Prince Cul. Treating him like a spoiled brat was pleasing to him, and the boy was easy to control with hidden insults and mockery.

In fact most Aesirs are easily controlled by things such as cowardice or glory and honor.

An example will be sure to come some time in the future.

•••••••••••••

It's been about a week and a few days since Roknos "took" in Ysmir as his disciple, and it's been going as Ysmir expected.

To Roknos' plan, the first step is:

Get beat up by mindless beasts and maybe possibly beat them back.

As for the rest of the steps, Roknos have not announced it yet. Or maybe doesn't know it at all.

But Ysmir was both excited and worried for step 2 and the later steps.

And at the moment, the redhead was in the royal library, thanks to the 2nd Prince Odin he was more than allowed to enter. As the closest companion of Odin, who is known to not have any friends…or just not fond of people his age, he has certain privileges more than the average citizen.

He has been inside the royal library for the past 3 days now, not doing anything rather than satisfying his curiosities.

Plus it's one of the only places where he could keep some piece from the usual meat-headed barbarians in this kingdom. The Asgardians and library are like water and oil. It's almost rare for most to be interested in something on paper rather than swinging a blade or hammer around.

Not to mention that the first prince is also not as interested in many books if it has nothing to do with power gain or whatnot.

So the chances of Prince Cul showing up in the royal library, any library, is low.

"Once more you touch and seek for things way beyond you, Ysmir."

Unless he seeks for someone.

Ysmir didn't look back immediately but he knew that voice quite well. Looking back, there he was. The first son of Bor.

Wearing a royal garb themed green and black. A usual color for villains in most comic books. Poking out of his shoulder behind him was his long-handle axe, and his black hair slicked back like it had gel.

The library was big enough to be a hall, but compared to the size of the palace it is merely a room. And there were many books gathered around Ysmir, enough to cover someone's sight of him. But the dark prince was looking at Ysmir through an opening.

This was his spot, no one came to the library much nor were there regulars other than him. Sure there were more than a few librarians but they were too much into their research and curiosities to even clean up or move much.

Ysmir turned around and saw the dark haired prince with his bits of scruffy beard looking to grow.

The redhead stood up, walked a bit towards the dark haired young man before stopping just a few feet away from Cul and smiled.

"Welcome back, Prince Cul." Ysmir said before he bent his upper body down and addressed the young man opposite of him. "This lowly commoner is nothing short of grateful for being in your presence."

As Ysmir did his little bow and ass kissing, Cul frowned. And the more he watched and thought of Ysmir, he's frown deepened.

Because not only is this the first time Ysmir showed his "respects" but he has never shown this kind of politeness. Not to anyone, including Odin.

And after some more thoughts, Cul concluded that this is one of Ysmir's ways of "playing" around and mocking people.

As Ysmir stood back up with a "genuine" smile, he questioned Cul's expression.

"My lord, is there something you're perhaps dissatisfied with? How may I be of help?"

One of Cul's eyes twitched in annoyance. The red head's act was high tier, even now Cul was hesitant on his thoughts.

But he made up his mind.

"Maybe I can heat up a warm bath for you? Feed you a mea-tgghhh!!" Ysmir couldn't resume his play as Cul's right leg came up and he dashed forward before casually kicking forward hitting Ysmir on the cheat and sending him back breaking one of the bookshelves as it fell and tumbled burying him.

"Do not think I am ignorant of your foolish antics." Cul glared dead at the small mountain of books and broken pieces of wood. "Not only has your foolishness not ceased, but it has worsened. There is only so much I can tolerate, Ysmir."

*Thud*

*Krash*

"Took you long enough to catch on to my act." Ysmir poked out of the mess as it crashed about. "So, did you come to see lil old me 'cause you missed me?"

"For so long you've not only shown no respect towards the royal family you even went as far as humiliating and degrading my brothers. If Odin had not shown any interest in you, I would have destroyed you the moment you showed such derision."

"Ease up there sport, catch a breather. I could mistake your actions as you disliking me." Ysmir smirked.

"YOU BRAZEN BASTARD!!" Prince Cul took out the Battleaxe and his shadow shook before it went darker and started to crawl over his body into the axe like a moving tattoo.

Ysmir jumped to the side avoiding a very dark slash.

"Odin won't be here to save you at this very moment, I will beh-"

"Brother!!"

Odin showed up followed by Vili, Ve and a few royal guards. Odin quickly jumped in between the two and turned to Cul.

"Move aside Odin!! This fool has drained all my mercy!!" Prince Cul said vehemently.

"Brother, please stay your anger. A king should not show such emotions, and be led to a point of executing a citizen so easily." Odin appeased his brother.

Ysmir on the other hand stood behind Odin scratching his head as if this situation was only a conflict between Odin and Cul.

Prince Cul frowned and tilted his head to the side as he looked dead on at Odin.

"You...wish to teach me how to be king? Little brother?" Prince Cul asked condescendingly.

It was at this moment that 3 more people showed up, and these 3 people are all on Prince Cul's side. His subordinates.

The first one was a kid around Cul's age with dark hair, pale skin and red eyes. Vartas, one who has innate abilities of blood.

The second one was a young girl who was around Odin and Ysmir's age with black hair and a cute face. Angrboda, who has innate talent in witchcraft.

The third one took everyone's attention, and it was the beast that fought not too long ago. The horned beast that stood over 4 meters tall, Mangog.

With these 3, Prince Cul is confident enough to go anywhere without much worry. Even King Bor allowed them to roam to a certain degree.

"Of course not, but taking this fool's life will only result in Asgard losing a potential great warrior."

"We have more warriors to nurture and he can be replaced easily." Cul said.

"I see." Odin said knowing his brother won't change his mind of the matter. "Then whatever it is you wish to do to him, I will receive the same consequences."

"What?! YOU FOOL!!" Cul screamed out as he stepped and picked up Odin by his clothes.

"What do you see in this weakling?" Cul asked with a low tone.

"If he is a weakling then what of the rest of Asgard? Ysmir is stronger than everyone who has not gone through their coming-of-age ceremony."

"Hmm, I'm disappointed." Cul said as he threw Odin to the side before looking at Ysmir.

"Boy, I came to see if you've matured at least a tiny bit but you're still childish." Cul said as he took steps towards Ysmir.

"Brother wai-". Odin spoke and tried to move only for Vartas to appear next to him and chain his movements by red energy.

Mangog came and stood behind Odin making sure he didn't move as well.

"Unhand me!!"

Cul waved his hands throwing his hands forward as shadows shot out like tentacles.

Ysmir jumped out of the way with a playful expression only for the shadow to grab him on the leg and drag him towards Cul.

"Now, face me while I show you, Fear." Cul's whole surroundings changed as his eyes went darker, a semblance of darkness enshrouded him and was threatening to engulf the light everywhere.

Behind Cul, his shadows took the form of a giant serpent staring straight at Ysmir as well with the worst intentions.

Ysmir on the other hand, was stirred, staring at the two figures he felt small. Cul was in dark flames while the giant serpent was merely a puppet shaped from the manipulations of shadows.

But these gave a huge amount of pressure, even to the others who watched a few steps away felt their guts stir and wanted to back off. But Ysmir felt the worst of it.

"What is all this ruckus?"
