Warning; Mature Content (r18) If you are given the option to choose between being comforted by a lie or being hurt by the truth, which would you pick? Remember, one lie has the power to taint a thousand truths. ---------------- Abigail Woods, Abby for short, is a beautiful and strong-willed girl born out of wedlock to a poor and struggling mother. From a young age, she craved the genuine love of a father. However, life plays a cruel game on her when she ends up with a pedophile stepfather and a heartless stepsister. After years of enduring abuse, Abby flees her past life on her twenty-first birthday and starts a new life in a faraway countryside as Stella Peterson. For one whole year, Abby, now Stella, adopted the fake identity of a local farm girl and worked for the Dawsons as a vine dresser. Everything was perfect for Stella until she crosses paths with two wealthy and handsome gentlemen, who are both rivals in the same line of business. Both young men are tenacious and want Stella as a wife. But Stella's falsehoods and past are out to hunt her. How far is Stella willing to go, to keep her real identity a secret? Stella's Bestie

Adrian didn't realise how hungry he was or how delicious the food tasted until it was almost finished. Feeling ashamed of his action, he decided to enquire if Stella had more food left in her kitchen.

"No, I don't!" Stella replied smiling.

"If you have the ingredients, I could prepare you another one."

"You cook!" Stella raised an eyebrow quizzically at him.

"Not all delicacies, but I make a mean scrambled egg and pancakes," Adrian said with an air of pride.

"We will see about that!" Stella rolled her eyes at him. "Eat up and join me in the kitchen while I get the ingredients ready!"

Adrian hurriedly scrapped the remaining scrambled egg and pancakes and threw them into his mouth.

His excitement knew no bounds at the thought of cooking for Stella. The fact that she was no longer frowning at him but instead revealing those perfect set of white dentitions was too much of an achievement to contain.
