Meeting Kastor Again?

"Excuse me but i think your reeading the book I'm looking for." Being snaped out of his thoughts Silver looked over to see a younger looking man with crimson hair tied in a pony tale and the same crimson like eyes stareing at Liz. Looking down and seeing a long brown robe he could of sworn he had seen this person before but couldn't place his finger on it.

Seeing that the question wasnt directed at him but at Liz he watched to see how things play out.

"Silver are you done so we can leave?" Seeing Liz look over to him and ask he wondered what to do.

'Why do these two keep getting hit on.' He questioned while looking over to the young man.

"Wait did you just say Silver?" The young boy looked at Liz before looking at him.

"Silver its me Kastor! Do you remember how we use to raid together?" Hearing Kastor he realized where he had seen this person before.

It wasnt from any news article or live stream but from a game he use to play a few years ago. Sure the eyes were different and the facial features look more like a pre teen boy than the manly face he had then. However there was no mistakeing that crimson hair and kid like attitude though.

"I don't know you but I do remember helping a kastor ride a hydra a few years ago. I think he said it would be fun and proceeded to tame the thing afterwords." Silver said in a worn out voice.

Just remembering how hard it was to make sure that hydra didnt eat their party alive because of how pissed it became, wore him out. 'Honistly I would of helped that hydra if i had know what kastor had planed for it.' He thought of how much that hydra had to go through after being tamed by the lunatic infront of him.

"That was me!" Kastor said in a enthusiastic voice.

Looking at Kastor for a moment until he sighed and looked at Liz.

"Just give him the book. We are almost done in this section anyways." He said thinking of serching for information about flowers next since he was already here.

Seeing that Kastor took the book Liz was holding out for him. Silver looked back at the book and started to skim through the rest of it.

Not hearing Kastor say anything Silver finished the remainder of the book infront of him in relative peace and decided to go check out the book section for flowers and herbs.

"Silver wait, I got a job and we still need more people." Kastor said in a panic after seeing that Silver was about to leave.

"Whats the job?" Silver asked.

"Well you know about that Gargoyle that took up residence in that graveyard. We are gathering people to get rid of it." Kastor said while sitting on the table close to Silver.

"Not interested." Silver said not wanting to risk the lives of the others on a suicide mission.

"Why not? It will be a hunt just like old times and its not like there wont be anything in it for you. Anyone who participates is guaranteed to get a scroll of summoning for a random creature from the Mages guild." Kastor pitched the offer that his guild leader told him to say when trying to get a new member for their hunt.

"Although that is tempting, I have NPC's in my party and I am not risking their lives when we dont even have a way to get rid of the petrification." Silver said while standing up and walking away to put his books back on the shelf not far away.

Liz and Emy also followed behind while looking at Kastor funny. They agreed with Silver that it would be a suicide mission and that nobody in their right mind would try to kill something like that when the highest level players right now are maybe level 3.

"We do have a way to clear the petrification in sight, the Mages guild are working on finding the Legendary elixer as we speak and are also working on finding other ways to cure it." Kastor followed behind while trying to convince Silver.

"Until their is a clear way to do so, I'm not going to risk my companions lives." Silver said while putting back his books.

"Of course and nobody is asking you to. I'm only asking for you to join once the mages guild is ready." Kastor said.

"I will think about it." Silver said with a sigh.

"By the way kastor, do you know where they keep the books on flowers and herbs?" Silver asked while looking at Kastor.

Seeing Kastor nod before turning around and signaling for him to follow.

Following behind Kastor with Liz and Emy, Silver could hear Kastor start to talk about how it would be great opportunity and it was totally worth joining in on the hunt for the Gargoyle before tuneing the convention out to think of how he might need to make one final stop after this since matters have become complicated with the Gargoyle.

'If Kastors involved then I might not be able to find out how to make the Elixer before they piss of the Gargoyle.' Silver thought While looking at the back of Kastors head.

Follwing Kastor all the way down stairs before going to a walled off corner of the library, they arived at a section with a sign P11 on it.

"So this is where the flowers and herbs are?" Silver asked a little on edge from the location Kastor brought them too.

"Yup, every flower and herb known to the capital is in this section. They keep it here because its also the section for potions." Kastor said before turning around and walking back the way they came.

"If your looking for me to get in on the action for the Gargoyle Silver, I'll be in the Mages guild." Kaster mentioned excitedly before disappearing behind a bookcase.

"Should we really stay here Silver, it feels weird in this area." Liz said while getting a little closer to him.

Emy must of also had the same feeling because she got close to him just like Liz while her snow kittens went on alert in a cute stance that made them look a little more ferocious.

Shakeing his head before walking over to one of the books on the shelf in front of him, Silver looked at what the book was called.

[Potions of Dreams.]

Picking up the book and opening it to see alchemy recipes for anything related to Dreams he fliped through the pages until he spoted one called 'Titans Downfall'. Although he stoped on this page by chance, Silver still found that something was off when he looked at the page.

[(Titans Downfall)

Titans Downfall is a powerful potion that is capable of felling a Titan but has one fatal flaw. The potion must be pored directly into the eyes of the creature or it wont be put to sleep.

(Ingredients)

1.Rotted Flesh - Perferable Rot from a Magical Beast.

2.Tears of a Magical Beast - A Magical Beast with the Dream element works best.

3.Dream bloom - A flower born under a Magical Beast that has forever gone to sleep.]

Blinking his eyes a few times he didnt understand why such a potion even existed. 'Couldnt they just use this to take care of almost any creature that threatened the capital.' Thinking this he watched as the recipe started to burn into nothingness.

"Whoops." Silver said while watching as the page he was reading slowly became nothing.

"Is it supposed to do that?" Liz asked also watching the burning page.

"I dont think so." Emy said thinking about how none of the books she read while learning crafting did this.

"Lets try another recipe." Silver said after the page finaly disappeared.

Closeing the book in his hands and putting it back he looked for another book to try. It didnt take long to find one with a title that sounded good.

[Festival of Carnage.]

"I dont like that one Ryan." Liz said sounding scaired and griping tightly onto his shirt.

"Its alright, im only going to take a peek." Silver said also feeling off about this book. It was the main reason he picked it after all.

Fliping through the pages he could see a few titles that were vary questionable and made him wonder if they were in a horror flick. Finally stoping on a random page he read with a face of worry that only grew as he read down the page.

[(Hollow Killer)

Hollow Killer slowly drains the life force from a Victim until they are left in a state of near death. The Victim will be a Hollow husk of what they use to be but with still retain there sence of self until cured or killed.

1. Hollow Wood - Bark that has been taken from a Hollow tree.

2. Blood - Blood from any creature will work but to get the best effect you must use Blood from a Reaper.

3. Devils Lotus - Lotus found near the entrance of hell.

Once infected only a Elixer at the rank of Legend can reverse the effect.]

[Crafting Recipe Learned: (Hollow Killer)]

When he finished reading his face was as pale as a ghost. 'Why does this sound awfully familiar.' He thought while watching as the page start to burn like the last one he read.

"Did either of you read that page?" Silver asked hopeing they didn't while watching the page burn.

Looking from Liz to Emy he could see both of them shake there heads. Sighing in relief he hoped that that was the only copy of that potion.

Flipping throught the next few pages and seeing that there wasn't anything that sounded even remotely familiar, he felt a little relieved.

Putting the book back he looked for the books he was actually here to look for. Seaching for a little while, Silver found one that told of different flowers and ingredients for Potion makeing.

Flipping through the pages of the book while looking for anything that even remotely sounded like it would help with life instead of death, His face was grim until he stumbled apon one ingredient that sounded familiar.

[Moon Bloom has been discovered for (Hidden Quest: Efrain's legacy)]

Thinking back to how Moon Blooms have Restoration powers he actually wasnt all to surprised that it was one of the ingredients for the Elixer. Going back to fliping through pages, he started to look through the rest of the book to see if the other item was somewhere to be found.

[Life Lotus has been discovered for (Hidden Quest: Efrain's legacy)]

Sighing in relief that the second ingredient was only pages away he put back the book and started to lead the girls out of the dimly lit and creepy part of the library. At this point even he was starting to feel like something was really wrong with that section of the library.
