Chapter - 6. The Conjecture

Sadhvi sure of her intent offers kheer to Ridhima out of suspicion.

She tells the warden to take her inside Babaji's room after she becomes unconscious.

Babaji calls Ridhima after the Sandhya Aarti. On not answering back he goes to her residence. He gets edgy on not seeing her as she was not present at the Aarti.

He asks Bhopa and Micheal to find her. Meanwhile, both find her outside Niraladham Babaji goes to his room.

There he finds her sitting on his couch.

He recognizes her as being drugged suspecting Sadhvi is behind this move.

He leaves Ridhima at her residence.

Babaji is infuriated at Sadhvi and asks her the reason behind her actions.

Sadhvi is Disheartened and answers-

' Sahi nhi hai wo, kyu nhi samajte aap...kuch baate hai isme jo thik nhi ..Yeh jarur kuch bada karegi dekhna aap...Mijhe fikr rehti hai aapki...wo aapke saat kuch galat na kar de.'

Babaji- Sadhvi, Bolne ki jarurat nhi hai kuch. Agli baar jo ye harkat ki toh bardashtt nhi karunga, aur phir Aashram se bahar.

Babaji feels sorry for Ridhima.

After coming into consciousness Ridhima begins to develop feelings for Babaji. He who already had feelings for Ridhima decides to tell her.

Bhopa who is not at all in favour of this makes himself loud and clear-

'Pagal ho gaya hai tu...

Aur wo gale lagaegi na tujhe pyaar se...Hoshh mein aa..

Tu kon hai ...wo kon hai..

(requesting him to stay away from her for their sake).

Babaji- ' Tu sahi keheta tha Bhoppe

Mujhe sach mein pasand aane lagi hai Ridhima...

Uske pass nhi ja sakta par Use jane bhi nhi de sakta..

Bhopa- 'Jaaa aur phir bakheda

khada kar...jisko iss bar

mein bhi nhi samett

paungaa..

Ridhima has no clue about what is going wrong with her. She is wondering how can even a thought related to Babaji could spark her mind in such a way that is making her fall for him keeping aside her purpose.

Akki returns to the town for completing some pending jobs, obtains letters written by Pammi yet leaving everything behind he stays firm on his decision to leave the town.

Meets Ujagar & Natasha and tells them about his decision of shifting to his village.

Sonia and Banno decide to converse with Tinka and Dilawar before negotiating with Sundarlal.

Banno wants to have a dialogue while secretly providing indications to the Ridhima.

Hence comes to Niraladham Bhopa noticing interrupts in between misleads her calculatedly to make her forget the subject of discussion and starts talking about increasing adjacency between Babaji & Ridhima.

Banno gets confirmed and is alarmed about Bhopa backing their relationship but on witnessing Ridhima not much happy about the same she infers something very strange between Baba, Bhopa and Ridhima as she noticed Baba's completely different side when he way looked at Ridhima at the Sandhya Aarti day before.

Meanwhile, Sadhvi feels dejected and disappointed which cannot be ignored feels Bhopa hence questions Babaji about his drastic stand towards Sadhvi.

Bhopa- 'Kuch zyada nhi bol gaya tu Sadhvi ko. Malum hai.. Ridhima ke liye khass jagah ban gai hai tere dil mein..par tune jo kiya mujhe sahi nhi laga.

Babaji- ' Aur jo usne kiya..kya wo thik tha..Nashe se behosh karake kya chaati thi wo..ye aache se janta hai tu.
