Aadi-12

Nighttime had fallen, and Aadi was glad. Johannsen had his way of convincing his naïve parents that he was in his room, silencing the house staff with a few bribes or two.

Ardenia was a beautiful, quiet place; having been undisturbed for years.

Swimming in thought, Aadi ran a hand over his eyes. He had lay down on the soft grass, watching as the sky turned from a nice blue to a happy orange, a sober pink to a midnight black.

The moon cast a beautiful glow on the grounds below; and for that again, Aadi was grateful. The evening was calm, unlike back home.

'I'm so messed up,' he whispered sadly.

'I don't think you're messed up, my Lord.'

Aadi sat up, startled. Looking around for the voice that belonged to a child, he settled in front of himself and found that it indeed belonged to a little boy.

He had unruly, golden hair. With the same eyes as the girl he had seen the day before! The resemblance was striking, anyone would hace noticed it at once.
