Masaru had noticed this new mission and was distraught. In the thought at the moment, he thought he had to be the one to murder his own mother of this world, but with some thinking, he realized he just needed to be in some way part of the murder and not directly kill her. Although he came to this idea, he reasoned with himself that he was going to destroy their world which would also kill everyone in this world.

'I really don't want to do this but, I'll have to, or else I'll be the one gone. Come forth, SCP-625, target my mother. Now based on the description the system gave me, I'll think I'll nickname these guys as Anklebiters.'

Aiko was outside in the backyard, tending to the crops. It was then that one instance of SCP-625 materialized behind the sprouts of carrots, sniffing the air it instantly knew about the whereabouts of Aiko. Running on all fours, enticed by human ankles, became faster and finally finds Aiko in seconds. Sharpening its claws on a nearby rock, it then ran by Aiko's ankles and removed a radial slab in 3 cm in height on each ankle. Taking those pieces of flesh it ran towards a dimly lit location to then consume it.

Masaru recalled the Anklebiter, which came to Masaru with a piece of flesh in its mouth.

"That's disgusting but whatever, go back to whatever you came from."

SCP-625 stared at Masaru's eyes with puppy eyes for an attempt to stay to consume flesh longer which Masaru denies. SCP-625 then disappeared into dust with the flesh in its mouth dropping on the floor they were previously on.

Aiko from outside while crouching, noticed a red liquid oozing from her ankles. Screaming for help, for her son, for anyone to come help. It was silent except for the chirping of birds. Aiko was at her ankles, applying pressure towards it, then she looked up to see Masaru in a doorway, but instead of coming to help, he walked back inside. Betrayal set in onto Aiko, mixes of emotions drowning her thoughts. The pain was nonexistent, headaches began to occur. Finally letting go of everything, she closed her eyelids and never opened it again.
