feel really loved

Coming back home nearly at midnight in the morning was not in Andrew's plan. He imagined himself being able to finish the mission an hour before dinner and returning back home about two hours after dinner. Sighing deeply, Andrew quietly walks into the mansion making sure not to wake anyone up.

Stretching, he walks up to the stairs and freezes as he heard Alex crying. Coming back to his senses, Andrew goes up the stairs and heads to the twins' room. Just as he was going to enter, he heard his beloved wife singing quietly.

Standing next to the doorway, Andrew listens as a small smile forms in his face. As Axel calmed down and Sasuko was no longer singing, Andrew entered the room and hugged her from behind.

"As usual, you sing beautifully."

Smiling small, Sasuko looks at him with pure love.

"I'm home."

"Welcome back."

Sasuko gently plants a small kiss on Andrew's cheek before placing Axel back in the crib carefully. The couple walks out the infants room and enter their own room.

"So, how did it go?" Sasuko asked as she sat on the bed.

"Eh, okay. Took longer than I expected... And! I came back as I said I would."

"Whatever! Don't bring that up!"

"Well, you were the one that brought the argument first."

"Babe, I was just worried for your safety!"

"I know. I know you were, and I feel really loved knowing that about you."

"Oh?"

"Yes."

". . . Just go shower."

"Seems like someone is trying to get rid of me. [sad puppy face]"

Sasuko pouts adorably before laying down with her back facing him.

"Oof-" Andrew shakes his head slightly as he walked to the bathroom to shower.

Sighing deeply, Sasuko lays on her back and stares at the ceiling. Hearing the water running, she covers herself with the blanket and falls back to sleep. About twenty minutes later, Andrew finished showering and dressed up. Laying next to his mate, he gently wraps an arm around her and plants a small kiss on her head.

Sasuko subconsciously smiles in her sleep, which made Andrew blush hard. Smiling small, Andrew slightly buries his face into the back of her neck and instantly falls asleep.
