Chapter Sixty-One: Iena's Punishment

Iena was now facing off against something that would put fear in any god or goddess.

Lucilia, princess of the empire, much beloved as the darling among the royal family, had just killed one of her friends and was now looking at her, with her bloody, crimson-red eyes staring right at her. Iena had never feared anyone as much as she feared Lucilia right now.

"So...what did you say about wanting to be with Ren?" Lucilia asked with a crazy look on her face.

"I'm sorry, princess, please forgive me!" Iena said, bowing down in fear.

"Sis, what the fuck are you doing?" Iena's brother asked.

"I'm trying to live asshole." Iena said with a desperate look on her face.

It was then that Iena got an idea in her head. She was desperate for her own survival; she wanted to live by any means necessary.

"IT WAS HIS IDEA!" Iena yelled out, pointing at her brother.

"Iena, what the fuck?!" her brother said in shock.

Iena, instead of backing down, she instead doubled down on her gambit "He told me to seduce Ren and take him into the alley; our goal was to hold him ransom and have you come down and pay us. My brother even wanted you to pay with your body."

Iena's brother was in shock "That's not true at all!" he yelled at his sister.

"Oh, really..." Lucilia said, her crimson eyes still glowing with hatred.

The other guy next to Iena and her brother looked around in shock.

"Fuck this" he said before running away as fast as he could, but it wasn't fast enough, as the next thing he knew, he dropped to the ground, his leg in pain.

"AAAAH!" he yelled out.

Lucilia had thrown a throwing knife right into the man's leg. "No one's going anywhere..."

Lucilia then turned to Ren and smiled at him innocently "Why don't you go back home, Ren? I'll deal with these criminals."

"Are you sure?" Ren asked.

"Yes, this is official business after all. They did try to attack both me and you, and since we're now engaged, you are technically royalty. Why don't you go home and start cooking dinner. I'll handle everything from here on." Lucilia said attempting to persuade Ren to leave.

"I don't like leaving you with them." Ren said.

"Don't worry, they can't hurt me even if they tried their hardest." Lucilia said, taunting Iena and her brother.

"Alright...just call me if you need me, okay?" Ren said with a smile.

"I promise, darling~" Lucilia said with a smile.

As Ren turned around the corner of the alley, he kicked the guy whose leg he broke and knocked him out. Then, as he vanished from sight, so did any chance of mercy for Iena and her brother.

"Sooooo" Lucilia said as she turned around "What should I do with you..."

"Please have mercy!" Iena pleaded.

"Mercy? hahahahahahaha" Lucilia said, breaking out in a maniacal laugh, putting even more fear in Iena and her gang. "Any chance of that left when you tried to take Ren for yourself." she said coldly.

Iena's brother looked at her and said "Stupid bitch..."

Iena's eyes started to water; she knew what she said just now was easily the worst mistake of her life. Her brother, however, tried to find a way out of this "Listen, princess, all due respect to you, but whatever my sister says is untrue. I'll be honest, we did intend to kidnap Ren and hold him for ransom, but we didn't plan to harm either him or you. We just wanted money. So if you would please, just have even a shred of mercy. Just kill my sister and let me and my friend here go.

Iena looked at her brother "YOU BASTARD!"

Lucilia put her hand up to her chin and thought to herself before walking up to the duo and saying.

"No."

"Why not? I just gave you a rational explanation." Iena's brother said.

"Rational? hahahhaah" Lucilia once again broke out in maniacal laughter "You talking to the wrong person about being anything rational."

Lucilia walked up to the two of them and knocked them out with a hit to the head before calling her personal guards to her location. Lucilia ordered her guards to take Iena, her brother, and the two other members of the gang away, each to suffer horrible fates.

Lucilia returned back to her mansion and sat down with Ren, snuggling him as they watched a movie together, along with Scarlet, Lily, and Ashastha snuggling him as well. Ren, who was both enjoying and suffering from all of the squishing.

"So what happened with Iena and all of them?" Ren asked Lucilia.

"Oh...don't worry about them. You'll never have to worry about them again." Lucilia said with a sadistic smile.

Lucilia had come up with ideas of horrible ways to torture Iena and the others. Currently, Iena is stuck in a freezing cold cell without clothing, facing daily lashes from her own personal guards. The city guards wanted to guard her, but Lucilia suspected it wasn't for the same reason she wanted Iena there, and she was against that type of behavior, so she refused any city guard from looking after Iena. As the days went by, Iena would slowly be stripped of her identity through brainwashing and torture, becoming a shell of her former self.

Her brother also suffered a terrible fate; he was forced to push his two friends into a zoo cage with a cannibalistic animal and watch as his two friends, one with a broken leg and the other with a leg wound that was never treated, were absolutely devoured by the animal. He will now become a slave warrior. A group of slaves, mainly captured rebels and the lowest of the low criminals, were thrown into the most dangerous environments in the galaxy for "Exploration" purposes, when in reality it was nothing more than a suicide squad. He would be sent on a mission to explore a planet known as Arcane IV, but he would never return. According to one of the survivors of the squad, a parasitic insect infested his body, causing his entire body to decay while he was alive and dying in absolute agony.

Lucilia showed no mercy, just as she said.

That same merciless girl was now cuddling cutely with the man she loved watching a movie, to which he had no idea what she had just sentenced Iena and her brother too.

*Meanwhile*

Rei and Rin were still trapped aboard the rebel ship, but they were treated well. Three meals a day and a wash every two days.

Two guards were standing by outside of their cell.

"So when do we make the exchange?" one of the guards asked.

"Soon, as soon as Tsukiko makes her decision." the other guard said.

"But why can't we, you know...have a little fun with them?"

"Because we can't harm the merchandise, this is a job for money, not to get your dick wet, so how about you focus on the mission and stick to watching tentacle porn on your computer."

The guard was taken aback "You didn't have to say all that you know..."

"It's your fault for coming up with such a stupid suggestion."

"But they are so damn hot...and I got a thing for fox girls."

"Obviously, listen, if that Fox Queen bitch doesn't come through with her promise, then honestly, I don't care what you do, but until the deadline, they are to be left untouched and innocent. Do you understand me?" the guard said with an intimidating glare.

"Yes sir..." the guard said dejected.

Rei and Rin could overhear everything they said.

"Are they going to...." Rei was about to say before Rin interrupted.

"No, you heard the guard; they won't touch us, as long as mom comes through." Rin said.

"But what if she doesn't?" Rei asked.

"Don't doubt our mother; she will figure something out. Rei, please listen to me. I promise, I will not let them do anything to us. Understand?" Rin said to calm down her sister.

"I understand...sorry Rin, I'm just...*sniffle* scared." Rei said, breaking down in tears.

Rin hugged her sister tightly and said "I know...I am too. But we have to be strong and trust our mother. She will find a way to get us out of this hell."

*The next morning*

"Okay! We're packing up!" Mae said ordering the engineers to get onto the ship.

"All engineers, you know your stations, pilots, and guards same to you. Ren, gather your friends and tell them to meet me on the ship in the hangar. I got a surprise for them." Mae said continuing the orders.

Everyone Lucilia was taking on the mission boarded the ship, and soon afterwards they had begun taking off, receiving cheers from the people of Volaria.

Ren looked out of the window on the ship, right at the city.

"It's time...."

On a tall structure on a balcony, Tsukiko was Tsukiko watching the ship take off "Please, Lucilia....Ren...save my daughters."

AN: As You can see this chapter was both to show that even though Lucilia clamps up when Ren wants something, when something happens to him. Lucilia flips a switch and delivers hellish punishments to those who harm him. So these past 2 chapters were to show that yandere side just a little bit more.
