Sanctuary? Do you mean a dungeon? No?

With Mizuki's outlandish proposal ringing in Shigoto's head, he could not help but be dumbfounded.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course. Why would I joke in this situation?"

"So what I'm getting here is that you want to clear a World Rank Sanctuary?"

"Yes."

"Are you stupid."

"I'll let the comment slide due to only just joining the crew."

Ignoring Mizuki's 'mercy', Shigoto asked.

"Have you heard of the last high ranked Sanctuary that appeared?"

"No."

"..."

"..."

'What have I gotten myself into.'

"*Sigh* 47 years ago a high ranking Sanctuary had appeared on the west coast of this very continent. It was ranked at Empire and besides that it had even mutated. Before that incident only 2 other Empire ranked Sanctuaries have ever spawned. Each time one has spawned, nearly 80% of all life on the continent it spawned on had dissapeared. Even if it was cleared and the tower boss killed, the remaining monsters fleed and managed to escape, every hidden boss monster and group of goblins, every pack of wolves and herd of dragons. And last time, the Sanctuary could not be cleared and the tower boss escaped. Half the continent was reduced to sand, I believe you have already seen that. It took every single tier 5 in the world to take it down. And now you tell me, to come with you facing almost certain death just to get popular?"

"Yes."

Even after the long spiel, Mizuki didn't hesitate.

"Think of being one of the first people in history to defeat a World tier Dungeon. It wouldn't be considered as 'popularity' or 'fame' but rather as one of the strongest individuals in the world. You could easily rise to an emperor worshipped by the people."

'Dungeon? Do you mean a Sanctuary?' Shigoto thought as Mizuki continued.

"Besides. The possible rewards would be good for a World Rank, right?"

Silence ensued as Shigoto thought about it for nearly 4 minutes while Mizuki just kept observing him.

After a while, a very very deep sigh could be heard.

"*Sighhhh*"

Looking up and straight into Mizuki's eyes, the thought that crosses Shigoto's mind was.

'Time is ticking, any more contiplation would just get me killed for wasting her time.'

"You're lucky that I'm a greedy f*ck."

"I'm glad you're a greedy f*ck. You're magic could come in useful."

Mizuki stood up and started walking to the door.

Looking back, she could see Shigoto still sitting there.

"What are you waiting for? We have 10 days to completely clear the Dungeon of every single monster in it."

Shigoto could not help but blink, twice, fast.

"Do you mean Sanctuary?"

"Just hurry up."

With Shigoto swiftly following, Mizuki exited the building, jumped nearly 12m up to have a look around and landed.

"Grab my hand." she said.

"Don't tell me you're going to princess carry me or something." Shigoto said as he grabbed her hand.

"Are you stupid?"

They teleported to Mizuki's ship.

"I hope you know how to handle a ship."

"I get it. The same way you handle a woman."

"You sure are calm." Mizuki commented.

"Unlike you, I am using my amazing sense of humor to cope with the upcoming apocalypse."

Slight rain started to fall.

"How innovative. Now raise anchor, lower sails and set course in 2 minutes."

"Yeah yeah Mrs. M."

As Shigoto got to work, still wearing his tux, Mizuki went below to wake the crew.

When below deck, she kicked the door open to their rooms one by one and spoke.

"On your feet. We're leaving. Help Shigoto out with the prepwork"

The startled sounds that could be heard ranged from 'Geh!' all the way to 'Kyaaa!'. The Geh coming from Natyr and the Kyaaa from Tomi. While most others just yelled swears.

"Captain is that you?" Natyr was the first to talk to Mizuki.

"I barely changed after going through a class upgrade. You shouldn't have a need to ask."

"Right. I apologize."

With everyone going above deck only to see a handsome sheepkin pulling the wire to lower sails Natyr stopped for a second only to go and help.

With Shigoto taking off his tux and tying the sleeves into a knot right below his stomach, he was now only left with a shortsleeved white shirt and a tie.

It was now a full on rainstorm.

With the sails lowered, Shigoto, Natyr and Salon now started raising anchor.

Before they could get it fully up, Mizuki appeared next to them and spoke.

"Shigoto go man the wheel, and put your tux back on It's distracting the rest of the crew." she said while glancing at Natyr who avoided eye contact.

Shigoto called over Eric with a 'Oi! Man with black hair! Get over here!' and let him help the others raise anchor.

Shigoto and Mizuki were now walking towards the wheel.

"You know captain, I could say the same to you about your clothing."

Shigoto put his tux back on to mask the soaked white shirt that was stikking to his skin and showing off his muscles.

The moment that comment left Shigoto's mouth, every face on board went pale.

'He shouldn't have said that.'

'Oh god.'

'Wait, No!'

'And we just got a new member.'

'F*ck.'

Mizuki looked down at herself. Her jacket was pretty wet while her black tanktop was even less so, although she was a little wet overall it wasn't by much.

A few minutes in the rain would indeed completely soak her but.

Using water magic to pull all the moisture out from her clothes, she threw the ball of water at Shigoto before making a quick umbrella out of the surrounding raindrops.

"I think my clothes suit me."

Shigoto wiped his face with his sleeve and said.

"I meant that it was getting wet and could distract people."

But what Shigoto thought was different.

'What a cute reaction.'

With Mizuki and Shigoto parting ways, one heading to man the wheel and one heading to their quarters, the rest of the crew were left dumbstruck.

They had yet to see their captain interact so familiarly with anyone.

The thoughts racing through their minds were as follows.

'Captain can act like that with someone? Who on hell is that man?'

'I knew he was different. Besides captain's reaction was so cute.'

'Why won't the captain act that way with me?'

'Is he a family member?'

'Who is HE?'

Before they could think any other sentinces, Shigoto's voice rang over them.

"Are you guys going to raise that anchor or what?"

Snapping back to reality, the anchor got raised and they started to set sail, but not before..

"Wait a goddamn second! Where are you going with my ship."

Hinami was on the shore yelling her lungs dry.

Shigoto was the one to awnser.

"The Sanctuary."

Hearing this, the crew was confused. Seconds later, they realized the notifications they hadvyet to read.

While reading, they're faces turned more and more pale by the second.

"Are you idiots trying to get yourselves killed?!"

"Give me back my ship!" Hinami yelled

"I can't. Captain's orders."

With the ship heading away, the wind suddenly changed as the weather got worse.

The ship was slowly drifting backwards.

Mizuki finally exited her quarters and took a look at Hinami.

Teleporting her crew to the city, before Hinami herself was teleported as well, she screamed.

"SISTER! WAIT!" Hinami then disappeared without a trace.

'Sister?'

'What?'

'Huh?'

'Sister!?!'

'What. The hell is going on today?'

Shigoto then spoke.

"Oh captain you have a sister?"

"No."

Shigoto made eye contact with Mizuki before turning his head to the town and mumbling to himself.

"How strange."

Mizuki then walked back towards her quarters after stating: "Let's get moving already."
