A World of Reincarnators

Mizuki was an otherworldly beauty in her first world. Born as an albino, having the best grades in class while taking interest in technological advancement and music in her free time. Her parents who had died a year after her birth left her a large inheritance. Her aunt has tried to kill her for her money ever since it was decided that all the inheritance would go to her. 'Human greed is a vile thing.' Mizuki was not stupid by any means. The moment she realized her life was being targeted she left to live alone. The inheritance would let her live nicely until the age of 40 at the least but she was not content with that and started to do work in the stock market. Mizuki was now living in a moderately sized apartment near her school. She had multiple bodyguards that were receiving quite the large salary so she was not afraid of losing her life before even getting married.... But.. "Human greed really is a vile thing. Is it not?" Now in another world where power decides everything human greed is not the biggest problem she will face. But bare in mind reader. Reincarnation is not that uncommon. (art ain't mine)

[Silksong] Completed

Mitsuna cut through wave after wave of minotaurs with simply a swing of her hand.

She was constantly changing the element the thread was using, its colour and its shape.

After a while, she moved on to combinations.

She started using them to do different types of damage. Thrust, slice and blunt attacks came from clusters of thread that hung off the walls and ceilings.

Throwing the corpses of the dead minotaurs to the wall, she covered them with thread as if she were a spider in action.

After a while, quite a large minotaur showed up.

It was over 1.5x the size of the regular minotaurs who were already about 3 or so metres tall.

The minotaur seemed to be enraged with its slightly bloody red coat of fur and dark red eyes.

It roared and ran at Mitsuna.

'Great! Now I can try that thing I was thinking about!'

She smirked as the giant minotaur slammed its axe into the ground where Mitsuna had stood a moment ago.

She sidestepped the attack.

Kicking the axe that was lodged into the ground, it shattered into pieces.

The minotaur was enraged as it took a step back, only to launch a barrage of punches.

'No, no. Come on. Give me a good old right hook.'

Mitsuna dodged each punch with as few movements as she could.

Seeing as how his attack barrage didn't work, the giant minotaur pulled back and released a full throttle punch while roaring.

'Finally.'

Mitsuna thought as she met the punch with her own.

A large shockwave travelled out.

The next second, the 'stalemate' ended as the giant minotaur had a look of surprise on his face.

Starting from his fist, he slowly turned into finely cut chunks of meat.

'Hah! It worked!'

Mitsuna smiled.

Looking at the herd of minotaurs that were watching their battle, Mitsuna took a step towards them while taking a sidelong glance at the corpse of the giant minotaur.

'I need to test a few more things. [Silksong] is a convenient Skill so I should find out its limits.'

Turning off her thoughts and fully embracing her instincts for a moment, she looked at the chunks of meat and thought.

'Blocking my path. Away.'

Thread shot out from behind her and pulled the chunks of meat back down the pitch-black cave.

The minotaurs were threatened.

Just embracing her instincts alone, at this level, was now enough to intimidate any being weaker than her that was closer than a specific radius which she had not yet measured.

The minotaurs started to retreat as Mitsuna calmly walked toward them.

'I'm barely near the Tier Up requirement. Come on, when is the boss showing up?'

She slightly wondered while calmly walking, thread being created from her every step.

Each time she stepped, right before she touched the ground, she would control her skill and create a few thin and bouncy threads below her feet.

From there, the thread that connected to the walls would slowly spread at the cost of mana.

Mitsuna no longer needed to create thread from her body and could now create it anywhere around her.

Although the mana consumption of the skill seemed to increase the more she learned about the skill and the more diverse she made it.

Seeing as how a large group of minotaurs were heading towards a dead end, she blocked all divergent paths with strong sticky thread and followed them in.

'Ah. Right. When I scanned this place I did find a few strange figures that seemed to belong to human-like creatures.'

She remembered as she reached where the minotaurs had run off to.

'I wonder where they disappeared to? I don't think I've seen or felt anyone leave.'

She wondered as she waved her hand.

The entire herd that came this way was dismembered with a simple hand movement.

She accidentally also carved into the wall slightly as her instincts kicked in and made the thread attack a larger area than normal for some reason.

'Grab the corpses.'

She thought as she walked away and sticky thread moved into the dead end to clean up the scene.

Going the way the rest of the herd had run off to, Mitsuna made the thread part as she walked down the stone hallway.

Reaching a large set of doors with every minotaur that hadn't gone towards the dead end in front of it, clawing and scratching at it, Mitsuna killed them all before approaching the doors.

'Move.'

Threads cleaned up the way as she kicked down the bloody door.

Looking into the lavish room with a large throne in the middle, Mitsuna was surprised to see a large, nicely dressed minotaur female on the ground as if someone had kicked her.

'Ah. She was blocking the way.'

She thought.

Appraising her level, she saw that it was clearly very high for the standards of this Dungeon.

'When I got the Dungeon entrance notification, it said that the Level of the place was from 110-120. This boss here is Level 160. I mean it's good that the System Update clearly added some needed features and cleaned up a little but can it not do math? Is this an Error?'

If Mitsuna could see herself now, thinking about how this could be a System Error, she would slap herself as True Errors were something she would struggle with for quite a while in the future.

Nevertheless, the passing thought was pushed aside.

Mitsuna neared the female minotaur.

'This is the last boss of the last floor. After this, I'll have to drag one of the half-alive minotaurs from the upper floors here so that it could become the new boss and I could keep farming Levels.'

She thought as she raised her hand in the air, threads twining and spinning around each other in the air and on the ceiling and walls.

'Decapitate enemy.'

She thought as the thread sliced down at the minotaur.

The female minotaur looked at Mitsuna who stood behind her, towards the entrance of her throne room. She raised her hand and spoke.

"Wait!"

*Slice

Mitsuna was too late to pull back her attack.

The clothes were ripped and the female minotaur died by her hands.

"Oops."

A System notification popped up.

Mitsuna widened her eyes.

'I didn't know about this new feature.'

The minotaurs started respawning.

The female minotaur respawned in the room, multiple levels lower than before.

She spoke.

"Why would you do that even after I tell you to wait?! And what's with that reaction 'Oops.' Oops?!"

'Well, this sure is... something.'

Mitsuna thought as she looked past her level-up notifications and at her Status screen.
