Chapter 47: Dungeon Boss

We open the door and find ourselves in a giant hall. The ceiling is about twenty feet above us, but the mirror effect is still going. Which is problematic when I see the minions of the dungeon boss that we’re going to have to fight through.

They’re giant spiders, like the one we fought a few floors ago. In fact, they are literally the same thing. Just, you know, a higher level. Which means even more hit points than before. Oh, and there are six of them.

Giant Spider. Legendary creature, level 36. HP: 108,000.

Of course, giant spiders means giant spider webs. Yet I can’t see any, beyond the strand each one is hanging from, and the mirrored floor and ceiling make it almost impossible to keep track of the six of them as they move.

So instead of trying to hit the spiders, I aim for the webbing strands they hang from. I need to get them onto the floor, just like the other one. But maybe one at a time would be best.
