Getting up close with Goblins

Waking up the next day I felt good. The dreadful feeling from yesterday was nowhere to be found. It felt like a new day with unlimited possibilities. After fully waking up I stretched and let out a pleased groan. My body felt good, Really good. The level ups made me feel refreshed and powerful.

The good feeling my body gave me was nothing to how my mind felt. Just knowing I could skip the first floor made this world feel like Utopia. What could be better than a day without slimes? Hmm, maybe finally getting the first member of my slave harem. That shouldn't take much more time so it was all well.

After eating breakfast, which was some kind of sweet fried bread, similar to french toast, with honeyed milk, my mood just got better and better. With a full stomach and a good mood, I made my way back to the Dungeon.

On the way, I started thinking of what to do in the coming days. Just going to and from the Dungeon seemed somewhat anti-social. Maybe I should check out some taverns tonight and taste the local alcohol. Until now I only had regular beer at the Inn but there must be better stuff in this world.

Shelving that thought for the moment because I was already standing infront of the Dungeon I walked up to the entrance and focused on wanting to go to the second floor I walked through.

Making my way out of the first room I let out a breath of air because I was really on the second floor.

The lone Goblin in the room was proof of that. Gripping my spear tightly I charged in and stabbed him right through the heart. A lone Goblin just wasn't challenging.

For the next three hours, I went on a rampage and killed Goblins left and right. Again I avoided larger groups but that was no problem. There were so many rooms on this floor that it was easy to change course. Killing the last Goblin of a group of three I finally got the message from the System I waited for.

<Warrior Level up!>

<Priest Level up!>

<Spearman Level up!>

<Basic Dexterity learned! Basic Dexterity is a Warrior's passive ability. You now have more control over your muscles! The times of stumbling over your own feet are finally over! Congratulations!>

<Form Party learned! You can now form parties for yourself and others. Experience is shared in the Party as long as members are closeby. Good luck finding people to party up. Maybe you really won't remain forever alone.>

<Slash learned! Slash is a basic active spear move. A slash with more speed and power than normal. Congratulations, you now may be able to decapitate your enemies. Getting bloodthirsty, are we?>

Ignoring the snarky description from the skills I pumped my fist into the Air. Finally fucking level 10! The new Priest skill was also something useful by the look of it. Though it's time to change the Priest Class to something more useful in combat. Maybe I'll level it up later once I'm not alone anymore.

After Equipping the Healer Class I was ready to go on. Being able to heal myself seemed like a pretty important skill to me. Especially since I got close to being hit a few times already, especially once I took on groups of four Goblins.

With the next group of Goblins I killed, the Class also leveled up straight to Level 4 and gave me the first Skill.

<Basic Heal learned! Basic heal is the most basic Healing spell. You can heal small cuts and abrasions. Don't even think about healing a stubbed toe. That shit needs higher tier magic.>

Well, it didn't sound like much, but better than nothing I guess. With a small safety net against injuries, I restarted my killing spree with renewed vigor. Charging into the next room without checking it out.

Yeah, that was fucking stupid. Of course, it's a room with six Goblins. I'm a fucking idiot, not checking the room first. Gritting my teeth and strengthening my grip on the spear I readied myself for a hard fight.

Fortunately, the Goblins were as surprised by my entry as I was. This gave me the time to observe the room and make my way towards a corner. This way they wouldn't be able to circle around and attack from all sides.

Just as I was in position the Goblins too seemed to register what happened. Growling at me and each other the fanned out a little and then slowly walked up and encircled me in a semi circle.

Not giving them any chance to come up with any plan I lunged forward and used stab on the Goblin to my right. My spear was way to fast for him and before he knew what was happening I already was in the motion of using slash on the next one, cleanly cutting off it's had.

Just when I was thinking that it was easier than I thought I was hit on my thigh with a wooden club. Pain shot through my left foot and I screamed "Ahhh, goddam. It hurts!"

Not giving me any time to relax another Goblin slashed me with a stone knife. I got out of the way purely on reflex but he still managed a shallow cut on the same thigh.

Gritting my teeth through the pain I used the spear to sweep at the Goblins managing to push two away sending them tumbling to the floor. Using this short respite I gained to stab another one in the heart and finally gaining the upper hand.

With only three Goblins left it was easy work to kill them though the pain in my leg made me stumble a little getting another shallow cut on my arm. This was the last damage they were able to do and I finally managed to kill the last ones.

Sitting down and groaning I held my thigh. "AH FUCK. GETTING HIT AND SLASHED REALLY HURTS! FUUUUUCK!"

I concentrated on activating the healing spell and I felt a warm energy flow into my hands and then into my leg and arm. I had to activate the skill three more times until I didn't feel any pain anymore.

After the pain was gone I relaxed for a moment in the room. Taking out the Monster Repellent stone to keep other Goblins from coming into the room I took out my water bag and a meat skewer from my inventory.

Calming down while eating I reprimanded myself for being a fucking idiot. Charging into a room in a dungeon without checking was the best way to get myself killed. Just fucking idiotic really.

While sitting down I checked out the message which popped up during the fight.

<Healer Level up!>

<Basic Cleanse learned! The most basic of Cleansing spells. It can cleanse basic diseases and poisons. Maybe you won't get sick from a Goblin weapon now! Nobody knows where their weapons have been.>

So I was thinking about all the skills he'll get overtime.

Do you guys want to have them mentioned with description every time he gets them?

Or should I just mention the Skill name and make an auxiliary chapter for the description?

He'll use a lot of different classes and therefore will get tons of skills. That is until he unlocks the Classes he'll stay with.

BTW he can't use skills from classes he doesn't have activated at the moment.

Same question with classes in the future.
