Chapter 46: Making Connections
“Most places might not accept them because they have no work history. If they’ve been traveling for as long as they have, running and surviving on their own, then it’s going to be harder,” Lance knew that his words weren’t helping the pack, but it was better than lying and giving them false hope.
“I can get Wilbur a job at the bookstore with me, and I’m sure I can get Krystal a job at the grocery store. They both pay well enough, and it isn’t like they have any bills to pay yet either,” Scott said followed by the groan that passed his lips with a new realization.
“They’re going to need phones which means we’ll have to put them on our plan,” Theo voiced Scott’s newest concern, the Alpha only nodding as he looked at each of the pack members. Scott was grateful that the bill wasn’t so high with just the two of them, but adding on so many people would only make it higher.
