Chapter 36: Growing Tension
English Class was usually a favorite class for both Theo and Lance, but for the first time in forever… both men found themselves dreading the class.
Every time Lance looked at Theo, he could only picture Scott’s face and he was reminded of what the brothers had told him. Lance had seen his fair share of cliche werewolf movies and read too many werewolf books, but suddenly he found himself questioning all of it.
Theo barely paid any attention in the classroom, and he knew that Percy had probably picked up on his attitude change today. Yet there was a part of Theo that couldn’t bring himself to care right now, not when he had so many other things to worry about.
Theo had to keep reminding himself that he was supposed to be helping Scott, that’s what mattered to him the most right now. Miles had told him to be there for Scott and Theo could only hope that the Alpha was right.
