Chapter 3

My jedi training finally brought results... to some extent.

I was able to curb my urges of monumental mischief to normal yet it still had a significant effect on the Dursleys.

Aside from that, three years after I possessed Harry Potter's body, I finally decided to do something about the piece of soul lodged in the lightning bolt scar. The piece of doggie dootie was making me see the events of Halloween 1981 in my sleep!!

So I decided to just crush it into oblivion. On the night of the grand execution of the shard of soul, I teleported to an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific. Given what I had seen in the movies, I was not going to risk the lives of the people in Privet Drive or that of my minions.

I sat down at the shore under the starry night of the Pacific. The light breeze, the sound of the waves crashing against each other and the calming silence was all I needed to focus on my task.

I used Conqueror's Will to curb the shard of any attempts of possession over my body or escaping to the surroundings. Then, I pushed it out of my scar... Sounds easier than it really was. The process open my scar wide open causing a lot of bleeding. The pain was nothing like I had ever experienced.

The soul shard was expelled out. When it tried to re-enter the wound on my forehead, I grabbed it in the air and crushed its will with mine! The soul struggled and tried to fight back but all its efforts were moot.

It shrieked and wailed, lashing out with all its might but it had nothing in front of my powers. Then, in a desperate attempt, it took the form of my parents, the real ones and spoke in their voice, "Son, we can help you... Why do you push us away? Come back to us... We always loved you... Accept us as we accept you with all your faults... Let us hug you and embrace you with our love... Please, Son! Listen to us!!"

I took a deep breath in anger as I grated my teeth together.

I glared at the soul shard and growled, "How... Dare you?!"

Conqueror's Will began pulsating out of my body in the form of thunderous shockwaves. I was always quick to anger but it was always superficial, like a beast baring its teeth trying to scare the person in front of it.

But Voldemort's attempt to save himself by using the love my parents had for me, it broke a dam long held by my insecurities.

My emotional state was undescribable. Angry, enraged... those words were an understatement. I unleashed my wrath at Voldemort's soul shard and blasted it into oblivion!

The ocean and the sky roared in unison with my wrath as the soul shard wailed, its life fading away as it desperately tried to re-enter my scar.

Finally, it's wails faded and it disappeared from existance.

As I calmed down, the ocean and the sky calmed down as well. I remembered similar events happening in the fanfiction I had been writing whenever Midoriya was not in control.

I sighed, "Damn... I need to get a better hold of my powers."

I touched the scar on my forehead and hissed as it stung. The bleeding had stopped but the wound was still fresh and inflaming.

'Ah well, time to go back.'

That's how I ended the nightmares I used to have.

Not a day went by when I didn't miss my family. The soul shard's attepmt only cemented my resolve to keep moving forward.

Aside from that incident, life was good. I made the lives of the Dursleys hell. You wouldn't even recognise Petunia after what she went through every single day.

By the time I turned eleven, Petunia was a little less fat than Marge while Vernon and Dudley were twice as fat as in canon. Due to all the stress from the problems I created in their lives, their health had begun deteriorating very early.

I opened the door of my room with a loud bang, eliciting a loud squeak from Petunia as she was cooking in the kitchen. Bad stuff happens to person when they are on their edge for a long time.

It was the day canon would start. Yet, I had already noticed many inconsistencies between the movies and what I had experienced, other than the change I brought in the lives of the Dursleys.

There were times when random dudes and dudettes would greet me and shake my hand. If I hadn't known any better, I'd have screamed pedophile and ran away like the road runner.

It was Dudley's birthday, yet there was no celebration planned for the day. Due to me giving them so much stress everyday and Dudley being the true loser like he was, he had no friends who would hang out with him. His bullying days were long gone. All three of the Dursleys had planned a quiet day before the television watching cricket.

Sometimes I would just sit at the table and marvel at my work. I had created the laziest dumbasses to ever exist. Of course manipulating their will was required to some extent for me to achieve that. I got the idea from the Leviathan arc of the show Supernatural in which the Leviathans had planned to slow and dumb down the humans and eat them at their leisure.

No snakes were going to be freed from their captivity and neither was I going to be grounded in a cupboard for a month because of the incident. The movies had omitted a ton of things that existed in the novels. The greatest of them being the sheer sass and wit of Harry Potter and turned it into a kid awkwardly retorting towards his bullies. Before I had even possessed his body, the kid was savage.

Anyway, another month passed and it was time for summer vacations. Dudley was going to his father's school for further studies while I was supposed to go to a premium boarding school. What, you thought I'd be skipping classes like Sheldon Cooper and become a once in a century genius? Oh please, why would I do that ruin my childhood. Idiots.

Then came the day when I would get my Hogwarts letter. I had no idea how to send a reply so I did the next best thing. I tore the letter and pretended it never came. I was going to follow canon, for a few days. The letters kept coming and I kept disposing them off. The Dursleys had no idea what had been happening, just like they had no idea about anything else.

It was finally the night of my eleventh birthday and the arrival of that loveable half giant, Hagrid. The night was stormy and the Dursleys were all sleeping in a giant bed, clinging to each other as they were afraid of loud noises.

Then, someone began banging against the main door of the house. The door was hit with such force that it swung clean off its hinges and with a deafening crash landed flat on the floor.

A giant of a man was standing in the doorway. His face was almost completely hidden by a long, shaggy mane of hair and a wild, tangled beard, but you could make out his eyes, glinting like black beetles under all the hair.

The giant squeezed his way into the hut, stooping so that his head just brushed the ceiling. He bent down, picked up the door, and fitted it easily back into its frame. The noise of the storm outside dropped a little. He turned to look at me.

"Sorry about that. Couldn't make us a cup of tea, could yeh? It's not been an easy journey..."

Only for me to give him a deadpanned look and say, "You know, you could've just knocked and not wake the entire neighbourhood up."

It surely took the slow half giant off guard as he stuttered out an apology. Then, he finally noticed whom he was talking to, exclaimed, "Ah! Harry!"

I raised an eyebrow and said, "Who else would I be? Boogeyman?"

I heard a trio of faint whimpers from upstairs quietly exclaiming 'Boogeyman!'

I cleared my throat and continued, "Anyway, who are you? You don't look like a thief. No thief who create so much noise. So, you're some kind of Santa? I'm sorry but Christmas is months away."

Poor man was left flustered. He barely manage to follow what I had said and replied, "Name's Rubius Hagrid, keeper of keys and grounds of Hogwarts."

"Hogs with warts? Hope they aren't genital. Humans are disgusting." I said while shaking my head.

That was how I met the first significant person from canon.
