Prologue

Death. It sucks. Like, REALLY sucks. The burning pain in my lungs, as I was forced to drown in the ocean, begging for help in my mind... It was the most painful experience I could ever imagine. Eventually, my thoughts became cloudy, my eyes started to become heavy, and my senses started to fade. Then I died.

Except, I'm still here. When I thought of death, I imagined myself in a black void, unable to do anything. I guess I was kinda right. I'm in a dark void, I can still think and see. But I don't know if can touch or taste. I don't think I need to considering I'm dead.

So, what do I do now? During my inner monologue, another 10 minutes passed, and nothing happened. Is there a Heaven? Hell? Or, is the black void I'm in, Hell. If so, I don't understand why.

I don't remember doing anything bad. Though, maybe I did do something. I guess i'll never know... Is. Is it getting brighter.

I start to feel a weird tugging sensation, luring me into the light. For some reason, I try to get away from the light, but I can't. After a while, I start to lose focus, drifting into a peaceful slumber, as my soul gets pulled into the light.

<I'm genuinely surprised you decided to give them another chance>

A hollow, like voice, speaks out in the void. Soon after, a boy appears out of thin air. He gives a simple grunt, before swiping his hand down. As if the void itself, wanted to please him, it starts move around, before making a dark screen appear.

<Thats!>

"Yes."

The boy spoke in a soft, but charming voice. He closed his eyes, as if concentrating, before speaking.

"Follow him. When he need you, activate."

The black screen glowed a bit, acknowledging the boy's orders, and disappeared, in a purple mist.

The boy sighed, before he stared to float around in the void. At this point, the hollow voice spoke up.

<Are you actually going to give your most prized creation to a nobody, you accidentally killed>

Hearing it's words, the boy smiled, and waved his hand around.

"It's fine. I put some heavy restrictions on it. At best, it'll take a couple of eons if he wants to unlock it's full power... If he survives that it"

<I don't understand. Do you really want to do this? You have everything anyone would want. But your willing to lose it all>

The voice seemed get angered. But still, the boy kept smiling.

"I'm tired. I've lived longer than I could count. And I can count pretty high. You need to understand. It's like you said. I'll have to lose it all someday."

The voice merely scoffed, at the boy's words.

<Fine then, lose it all. After that, don't come crying back to me. Aku>

The boy laughed.

"I won't. I'll be dead."

Just like that, the boy faded away, off to do whatever he pleases. After all, he is the strongest being.... For now

(Town)

In the town of Treya. A boy could be seen moving around in his sleep, as if he was in pain. And with a pained cry, he woke up, with small tears falling from his eyes. Eventually, he wiped his tears away, before looking out the dirty window, with a complicated look in his eyes.

"I'm screwed if I don't get some type of power."
